Excited to find Filipino food in a Sunday market. So good! Will definitely check them out again.

There were also a number of drinks to choose from -- ranging between fun lattes and classic juices. I got the beef tapa and it was really juicy! Sometimes tapa can come with a little bite to it, but this one was really yummy. The restaurant itself if super homey. Not too many tables, so make sure to get on the waitlist early if you come for breakfast! Keep in mind they have a strict 5 minute arrival policy for your party. Luckily, they were able to seat us about 15 minutes after.

Been to Lola's by MFK a few times now and each time has been solid and delicious…read more Lola's is a Filipino fusion brunch spot located in Anaheim. The parking lot isn't usually too bad in that you can find something as there is an abandoned restaurant near the side. Best to try to give yourself at least a 15 minute buffer though when you go as the place tends to get busy on the weekends at least. Once there, there are usually both smaller and bigger tables in a cozy environment. The menu itself has a mixture of items as well as some juice/coffee drinks as well as some alcohol. Here's what we got overall: *Bang-silog: The fried fish is a surprisingly good option and pretty big. Able to easily feed two and comes with a few side items like rice and a fried egg. *Pandan cold brew: Oddly really good. I was afraid it was going to be overly sweet but ended up being a perfect balance of the pandan and the cold brew flavor. *Silog Breakfast Bowls with Longanisa: Lots of different options to choose from here for your protein. This is a great overall bowl packed meal that includes garlic rice, egg, tomato salad, and the meat you chose. You also get a few sauces to enjoy with your meal like ketchup and soy sauce. The service is really friendly and able to answer all of our questions. And the meal itself took around 15-20 minutes to come out. Overall, it's a solid brunch spot that was great to go to nearby. Would recommend!

It was grilled pork with pansit(phillipine noodles) rice and a small soup .. it was honestly a 9-10 out of 10..! the pork was juicy and tender, the rice was cooked right and the pansit was flavorful. The next 5x I ordered the same meal the pork was dry and the skin was chewy and rubbery. I kept ordering over and over in hopes I would that same consistency as the first time but it has never happened. A couple weeks ago I ordered thru DoorDash and 30min later my order was canceled . I ordered again and only half my order showed up and the main course was cancelled. The DoorDash person told me that there was only one worker, everyone called in sick, so I let it pass. The food can be excellent and the food can be okay. It's very inexpensive so I keep ordering it like I said in hopes to mimick the first time I ordered. I have never dined in but I am going to try it and maybe I will change my review a bit bit for now I give them a 3* .. I hope they read this and make the changes needed because the food can definitely be better .!!

Instead of resolving the issue immediately, they suggested we could receive the missing food at a later time, which didn't make sense since the event was happening right then. After some back and forth, they agreed to issue a refund and said they would call me later that same day once they gathered the necessary information. Unfortunately, I never received that call. Since then, we've made multiple attempts to follow up, but each time we're told the manager is unavailable. Overall, this was a frustrating experience due to the lack of accountability and poor followthrough. I hope they improve their communication and customer service moving forward.

We decided to give it a try on our first night. Everything from the staff friendliness to the ambiance to the taste of the food was exceptional! The specialty drinks were delicious, and the happy hour prices were more than reasonable. Everything was so good that we went back for a second happy hour in a row. The second visit was just as enjoyable, so much that we decided to visit on Sunday to check out their all you can eat brunch. The selections were amazing with a few exceptions. Some standouts were the ube pancakes, matcha French toast, Toro tartare toast, and garlic scallop fried rice. Some items on the menu left more to the imagination such as the spicy tuna crispy rice, which had no distinct flavor, and the fried oysters. Outside of those selections, the brunch options were amazing and worth the cost. Shout out to Ryan and Koda for the hospitality, and the bartenders that served us during happy hour. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone visiting Orange County!
