It went very well at first and the quality of what I did get was good. I was a Walkin and I understand they are very busy so before anything started I showed them the picture of the design made it very clear I wanted just a acrylic fill and asked if they had time to do it. They told me they did so I thought "OK great " so they get around to doing the fill and everything is going well. They did a good job. They were friendly but someone who did have an appointment came in for their appointment and I was suddenly told that they couldn't do my nail anymore and to get the design would have to come back another time. I am usually not one to leave reviews unless the place stood out to me either positively or negatively but I left really upset that they told me they could do the service only to afterwards tell me they can't because of another customer. Terrible experience. $130 wasted and I had to pay someone else to get them removed! My daughter and her cousin went to get tips and dips and they both chose the same color. First of all both colors were different and had nothing to do with what they chose. Secondly, the tips were so badly done they both have half of their fingers around the nail swollen and red which was why I had to find them somewhere asap to get them removed around Christmas day. We had a subpar and aggravating experience at Nailosophy today. At least 30 minutes was spent on my cuticles to the point where it was becoming tender/painful. Whereas virtually no time was spent on callus removal or exfoliation. But the worst part was the actual nail polish application. It was clearly old polish (going on chunky) - I said something to my tech and she said it wasn't old .... But then she disappeared for about 5-minutes mid-polishing and, when she returned, it was clear she had added nail polish thinner to the bottle because all of a sudden it was going on smooth (although no doubt less durable) - she left the container of thinner sitting out, so no mystery or conjecture on my part re the thinner. Additionally, the polish was all over my skin while she was applying the polish and, rather than wipe it away as she went like most techs, she waited until the end, at which point the polish was both more stubborn to remove and had stained my skin (see pics.) The end result is a polish job I could have done myself, raw cuticles (or really, lack thereof), and soles just as callused as before the appointment. Also, the environment was NOT relaxing - the staff were loud and literally stomping around the space, everyone seemed to converse in a yell, and one team member kept answering her phone on loud speaker. Another thing that threw me off is: you aren't supposed to look through the actual polish bottles to choose your color - instead you and the other clients huddle around a 2-foot wide display of fake, disheveled nails on sticks in no order (brand or color). It felt cramped and disorganized and honestly kind of gross. Plus, I care about the brand of polish that's used, which the fake-nail-display didn't specify. Anyway, after **2-hours** we left grumpy and unsatisfied. Giving 2-stars because my girlfriend's experience was mostly fine (other than dealing her grouchy girlfriend.) read more

I made an appointment, but ended up waiting a while to get my manicure. For me, the wait was worth it, but if you're on a tight schedule or like your appointments to happen on time, that could be a negative. The wait was worth it for me because Kimmie did some magic and turned my ugly bitten nails into strong nails of a reasonable length with a pretty almond shape. The shape grew out a little unevenly but I blame that on my kind of crooked fingers lol. I did ask for the tips to be filed down so they could be as thin/sharp/close to natural nails as possible but I don't think I communicated it quite right. I fixed both the shape and sharpness myself at home with a nail file once they grew out a bit. Service : They're quick, friendly and do a great job with nail services. I had an appointment however they also welcomed walk ins and were very quick to seat me once I chose the color ! Atmosphere: Seating for pedicures is like a padded backseat and booth seating not massage chairs as I'm used to, but comfy nonetheless. They have soft music playing so you can conversation with friends if you're coming as a group and a TV but it wasn't on when I was there. I don't want to leave a negative review. But the color of the gel for my left hand changed to a uneven and hard to describe color after just one day (see the pictures. In real life, the difference is really obvious)! I have been doing gel application for a few years. I had never had or heard anything like this! This makes me question the quality of their products. So I had a gel application here yesterday. It was my first time coming here. The place was clean and spacious. They also accommodated my change of the appointment time, which was very nice. I picked the color 45 in their color board. It was a really pretty fuchsia color by OPI. A male staff helped me with the application. The strange thing was that he did the top coat for my left hand for three times. The first two times the color came out not shining. I asked him why, as usually you only need to apply the top coat once. He said he did not know. After applying the top coat third time for my left hand, it seemed to be ok - although I did notice the color for my left hand was little lighter than my right hand. I could tolerate that, so I did not say anything. However, today, it just changed to this weird color I could not describe. Now I have to tolerate the fact that my two hands have different nail colors... I give this place one star because it seems they could not do even the basic. Don't waste you time and money here. Just had a wonderful no-polish pedicure with Rebecca and I'm very happy. Booking was super easy online and I got a fast response via text confirming my appointment time. I've always wanted to swing by this place because I've seen so many pictures and I used to work around where Nailosophy is. I never pulled myself to it but I decided why not a couple of weeks ago. I made a last-minute appointment and the owner was able to squeeze me in for a slot before noon. Upon arrival, you check in through the iPad and enter your information. After, they kindly ask you to wash your hands before being situated in the store. I really like how they implement this and not just ask you to just sanitize with hand sanitizer. I got seated and there is plexi-glass between myself and the aesthetician. I wanted to try something new, so I decided to do dip powder. My hands have been unkept for over a year due to COVID and washing my hands at work countless times. The place is super nice and is well organized by the different polishes (regular, gel, dazzle-dry) and the dip powder wall. The place is super chic and does not make you question the sanitation of this place one bit!! My aesthetician made sure to get rid of my dry hangnails and everything gross. She took the time and made sure I loved the result for my nails. I was completely in awe and loved the color (bubblegum pink - on the transparent side). I came back 3 week later because I had a chip and wanted to get a new color since my nails were already outgrowing themselves. They lasted pretty long, probably even longer if I wasn't so clumsy and chipped my nail. I really like the process of getting dip removed because it's healthier and not as sticky as gel! So I have mixed feelings about Nailosophy. Katie did my first mani/pedi here and it was amazing. The gel manicure lasted 3 weeks without a single chip. The salon itself is also really clean, and they're taking excellent precautions when it comes to COVID Today, Nick did my nails, and the experience was extremely subpar. Both my hands and feet were polished very sloppy--it's thick, uneven, and the job was rushed. When taking my old gels off, he was pretty rough and broke one of my nails I asked him to trim my fingernails before shaping, which he did, but one hand is significantly shorter than the other, and the shapes aren't the same either. He also didn't have me wash my hands after buffing/filing, and essentially just painted over the dust, resulting in a dull, lackluster manicure. I'll come back, and I would still recommend this place, but just for Katie. read more

Guarantee you yelpers ... as soon as you walk in, everybody will look at you n look back down. no smiles... no welcoming... just "crap another customer" look. no one knows how to smile. I came in for a gel pedicure and literally took almost two hours. I had to take off my previous gels... but because it was done so slowly, i told the tech to just drill it off. He drilled it, yes, but then still soaked it for another 20 minutes. I let it go because i sensed that he was a newbie. what i didn't get was.. the foot bath was filled up while i was waiting for the gels to come off and when it was time to put my feet it, it was cold. maybe wait till i'm ready to soak my feet so it's nice and warm. I give the gentleman who serviced me A for effort. he Realllllllyyyyy took his time because it took foreverrrrrrr to finish a gel pedicure. I would give him 4 stars for just him but... the store itself, I would give 1. Yes the service took forever and none of the other staff were quite welcoming but most important thing i must point out for this salon is sanitation. Foot sink was not properly sanitized nor cleaned after each client. Just a spray of water and onto the next client. Files & implements weren't properly sanitized or sterilized... or not to my knowledge. Products used were all opened and not labeled... a little worrying. Hopefully this will help them because the salon has potential. UPDATE: no need to attack. I was only trying to give constructive criticisms. I actually have been there a month ago actually. Owner said she preferred cash so she suggested venmo. I have a credit card transaction to prove it. The technician brought out his tools in a box tray. Maybe he didn't have time to put his tools in the sterilization pouch. I don't know. I was there for two hrs... i saw the way u guys cleaned the pedicure sinks before the next client came. SO. GOOD. I've been to multiple salons in the area, and this spot not only has super fair prices, but has the most attention to detail and quality that I've seen. I get dip manicures and too often, the powder dip ends up super bubble-shaped, too high up, and the wrong shape/ with a lot of extra product. Not here! They made sure I had the exact nail shape I wanted, pushed back my cuticles properly, and reshaped and cleaned down to the very last detail. Love this spot, I'll be coming back for sure!
