Being from the OC, there are boba shops everywhere I go. However, for my boyfriend who lives in Baldwin Park, there aren't so many around so he got really excited to find this place after a while. He said it's a "buy one get one free" deal which is such a plus! He took me here when I was in the area and got me a yakult milk tea drink with jelly. I don't remember exactly what it was called, but it was BOMB. Good thing about this place is that it sells yakult milk tea and NOWHERE in the OC offers this. I fell in love with the first sip. Cute little boba shop! Finally a boba shop in our city. I no longer have to drive all the way to San Gabriel area to get boba to satisfy my cravings. The people there are also super friendly. Honestly, it's not comparable to Half and Half but it's good enough for its price. They have the BOGO deal ALL DAY, EVERYDAY! what more could you ask for!? So it's basically about $2.50 for a large. Not a good place to study if you're planning to find a place to chill all day, only 2 little tables that seats 2 each. It can get a little packed and a little slow at times especially after school (lots of high school kids). Other than it, I totally recommend this little shop. Oh! I ordered the Boba milk tea. Half of the cup is ice and the milk tea taste like diluted milk. Yes, I finished the entire cup within a few minutes so it is not the ice melting. The Boba itself is pretty good, soft and chewy, but they didn't put too many pieces in the cup, just a little more than two layers at the bottom. Sorry, didn't cut it. I ordered the rose milk green tea and honey milk green tea with normal sugar. Both were EXTREMELY sweet to the point that I thought I was drinking sugar water. They also lacked flavor. There was little to no hint of rose taste in my drink. I also tried my sister honeydew slush and it too lacked any flavor. The place itself is extremely small. I saw an AC unit but I don't think they even turned it on as it was very stuffy inside. Also extra charge 35 cents for no ice. I think the only saving grace about this place is their BOGO. This shop has a wide selection of drinks,juice,and smoothies. They also have boba! The inside look of the place is very relatable tot he community and the people who go in. They have painted anime Charles tees as-well as other people from shows.They have very excellent customer service. The place is very clean spotless. Not good, I've been here a few times and it's always the same, the thai teas don't look or taste good, it seems watered down.

Even though buy one get one free makes the drinks extremely inexpensive, it's Quickly-tier taste. Tea flavor was extremely muted for both the milk tea and thai tea, and boba was slightly overcooked. Really love their drinks! It's BOGO free! Ordered a Chocolate Banana Smoothie w/ boba on this hot 106-degree Fahrenheit Sunday...man it quenched my thirst lol! But why I had to take out 2 stars is because of how they charged us. I ordered two large smoothies with boba that came out to be $4.50 each, and a regular coffee milk tea and regular taro milk tea that's supposed to be $3.35 each. They charged me for both smoothies when I thought it was BOGO free (1 smoothie purchase = 1 free smoothie; 1 reg taro milk tea purchase = 1 free reg coffee milk tea). Instead, the two frees were granted on the regular-sized milk teas, so my total came out to be like almost $10. They could've just really charged me on 1 large smoothie and 1 reg milk tea and called it a day, but they decided to charge me for the two expensive drinks. My concept would have also worked if you ordered separate, so order two smoothies and one of them becomes free and then come back and order two milk teas, one of them is free. Certainly don't like how businesses have to operate like that though. Not much room to sit in, so it's best for to-go's. But I ain't gonna take out stars for that. There's like benches on the interior where you can sit in and wait for your drinks. Located in a small plaza in front of a park. Shared parking with other stores, but it doesn't seem like a busy area. They could use an extra staff to take orders while the others are making the drinks.
