A buddy and I were in town checking out motorcycles and were craving Boba drinks. I know Baldwin Park isn't the typical town for boba, but after reading some Yelp reviews, we made the quick drive. We both have the Taro Smoothies with boba and they honestly were the best I had ever had. The large size was perfect, and they are buy one get one free. Can't beat that. BOGO boba! You can't get any better than that! It's been that way for many years and always a great deal. They've definitely stepped up their boba game by staying relevant to the competition. They have those cheese foam drinks as well as your typical slush, and milk teas. Oh yeah they charge extra if you use a credit card not meeting the minimum amount. It's not too bad to carry some cash on hand because you walk out with two drinks or more drinks depending on your order. Been coming back to this place for many years and it's always a pleasant experience. Definitely perfect for the summer time when the weather is over 90 degrees or anytime. At first you might see a line trailing back towards the entrance, but it goes by pretty quickly. Always in and out no more 10 minutes. Unless you have a really large order. I was here for a to-go Key Club fundraiser, stopping by on the weekend of their virtual District Convention too, listening on the Zoom meeting while waiting for my drink. Important thing to know: Miss Tea has two locations (here in Baldwin Park and one in Covina), but this location does not have food. They only have drinks! I was looking forward to some popcorn chicken and left without any in hand. I ordered their almond smoothie and matcha smoothie. All of their drinks are BOGO, so the two smoothies were $5.15 with tax included (toppings not included). The size is pretty large too, at 625 ml / 21 oz. They charge a fee for credit cards, so I just paid with cash. It was a pretty hot day so the cold smoothies just hit the spot. Not too sweet and not too watery. The price itself was a steal too! No problems with parking, they call out your number over the loudspeaker while you wait outside, and they're right next to Morgan Park so you can enjoy a walk while you wait or after you get your drink. read more

Miss tea is a good tea place to stop off at if you are in the neighborhood. For example if you are buying tacos a few doors down. It sort of reminds me of some of the half and half tea expresses, the way the store is set up. And also since they have the milk tea slush style boba. It's a 'grab your darn tea and go' type of place, not a sit and relax type of shop. The b1g1 specials are probably what puts this place on the map for me. Most of the time the milk ice bobas are way too sweet and indulgent for me, so I prefer the jasmine iced green teas. The tea itself has a good medium tea flavor. Just picked up for Uber Eats and i have never encountered a cashier as rude as that girl!! Found this on yelp while going through severe boba withdrawals. My first boba since stay at home was put in place. It's... not bad..? The boba itself is a bit hard, and the milk itself is not that flavorful compared to some others in the SGV area. I got the oolong milk tea with pearls, and a passion fruit Yakult with rainbow. The oolong milk tea was pretty average, but the yakult passion fruit was fantastic! Really refreshing, good balance of tangy and sweet, the rainbow jelly was chewy and had nice fun flavors (I think mango, papaya, lychee and coconut? Though I could be wrong cuz that's just my guess). It reminded me of those beloved jelly snacks that are bought in giant plastic buckets at Asian markets. I've been coming to Miss Tea for years and I'm finally writing them a review. Miss Tea is located in a small strip mall and there is usually plenty of parking. It's a no nonsense kind of place as there is no place to really hang out inside so everyone gets to go. It is such a good deal for what you get. Their drinks are buy one get one free and they come in large size so it's the perfect place to go if you're buying boba for a large group. There are plenty of options but I usually like to get their yogurt drinks. One thing to note is that the hours are a bit more limited because Miss Tea closes early, even on weekends. read more

It was difficult to see the sign of the place as we were driving by. We needed to make a U-turn. It's in an area where you would not expect a boba place. Their menu has around 80 drinks. They serve a variety of drinks including fresh tea, milk tea, icy drinks, smoothies, yakult, blended fresh milk, and green milk tea. Their fresh tea, milk tea, and smoothies make up the bulk of the menu. It's 35 cents extra if you want to upsize the drink, add toppings, or request no ice. They have several drink toppings including boba, lychee jelly, rainbow jelly, green apple jelly, aloe, pudding, and red bean. I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with Honey Boba. The taro flavor was spot-on. In regards to the boba, the honey flavor was non-existent but the texture was perfect as it was soft, gummy, and chewy. I probably wouldn't get the boba again since there wasn't much flavor. I also ordered a Milk Tea since it was a buy one get one free promotion. The Milk Tea was really good. The milk tea flavor was bold. Not too sweet or overly creamy. There's one long wooden bench and one table near the door. The wall was filled with hand drawn of anime characters from manga series and some characters from Miyazaki films. They had stickers on the glass counter that consisted of anime characters, rock band logos, a few celebrities, The Simpsons, and skater brands. Service was good. We were greeted upon entry and the drinks arrived promptly. The Taro Milk Tea and the Milk Tea were pretty good. I just wouldn't order the boba next time.
