Stopped in for a quick lunch. When you first walk in the smell of bbq makes your mouth water. The menu has a lot to choose from. We ordered the meat sampler that came with two meats and two sides and the kids bbq ribs that came with one side. Everything was delicious. The meat was flavorful. The meat on the ribs was falling off the bone. The slaw and cornbread was okay. Service was good. Also the serving size is a little small. They do have outdoor seating which would really nice in the summer

I've driven by the Mission BBQ on Semoran Avenue in Orlando plenty of times but never stopped to try their food. Well, 800 miles away, there's a Mission BBQ right next to my hotel in Virginia. So, I asked myself... why not? Could this be a sign I should give them a try? I walked in, and the first thing you notice is all the military and first responder memorabilia everywhere, which they support through fundraisers. Great ambiance, and the staff seemed to really love what they do. I went with the three-meat plate with mac and cheese and baked beans. I loved the option to choose which part of the brisket you prefer...in my case, the point. Super moist and packed with flavor. I also added the jalapeño sausage, and wow... they were incredible! So juicy and flavorful. The ribs were excellent too, with a perfect smoky flavor. The mac and cheese was perfect, and the beans were great as well. Overall, it was an amazing meal. I can't wait to try the one on Semoran to see if the food is consistent

Was visiting from out of state and saw this place pop up on Yelp. It exceeded all my expectations! The staff was super friendly, especially Jalisah. She was also very attentive and kind. The food was quick to arrive and absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the variety of sauces. Will definitely be stopping by Mission BBQ again during my next trip to Virginia.

First time trying American Bbq vs korean bbq. We got brisket, ribs and salad. Brisket was soft and pair perfect with the dessert hot bbq sauce. The ribs were soft and easy to pull apart. Space is very roomy and staff are friendly. Would deffinitely come back. :)

Meat sampler - brisket, baby back ribs and pulled pork with Mac and cheese

About a 6 minute walk from Embassy Suites hotel. Tried the meat sampler to check out their food. Ribs were good, moist, tender and tasty. Can be eaten on its own but enhanced with the sauces. Speaking of sauces, there's 6 choices available on the table, which one to choose? Just pour 3 or 6 of them all at the same time and make your own dipping sauce or just pour them on the meat!!! Yummmmm! The brisket was tender and moist while the pulled pork was a little dry. These definitely needed the extra umphhh of the sauces. These sauces make all the differences!!!

I've been here twice now and it's been great both times. Definitely recommend trying them out. The food is good here. I got the pulled pork both times. It was pretty good but can be dry without any bbq sauce. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was good but. It the best I've had. The brisket is very good. I get the moist brisket and it is really flavorful. The rub they put on it before it's cooked is present and really cooks into the meat. The mac and cheese is delicious! It's my favorite side to order. The baked beans are definitely second. They're sweet and Smokey. The green beans are okay but nothing to write home about. The cornbread is usually pretty tasty but can be a little dry. My girlfriend gets the lean brisket and warns that it can be dry sometimes so take that into account if you prefer lean brisket. The service is pretty standard for fast casual dining. We typically get it to go but they are quick to get the food out so it doesn't eat into our lunch break. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cashier from my first visit told me about the reusable cup that gets me a dollar off each time I take it in and order. The ambiance is different but feels like a bbq place still. They are very forward about supporting military and first responders. They have many pictures on the wall that are from different branches of the military. I recommend coming here if you want quick good bbq. The entrance is off to the side as it shares a larger building with Stone's on the other side. There's a parking lot so no need to worry about parking.

I was looking to try a new option of catered food for superbowl 2024. I ordered bbq chicken & brisket with Cole slaw & mac n cheese. They did a great job delivering before the start of my party . It also came with a large container of corn bread (dry) and small rolls. Unfortunately , I felt the meats were very salty. The macaroni and cheese was so soupy and not cooked so I couldn't put this out till I had to bake it for almost 50 minutes while entertaining during the game! No one ate the rolls and only my Friend and I tasted the mac n cheese . People had filled up on other dishes & desert by the time the MAC was cooked and out. The heating element left in styrofoam box was helpful to keep food warm since I had smaller serving dishes . They did also provide paper, plastic utensils & koozies for canned drinks .

Great place for BBQ. The meat is well cooked and the portions are a good size. You are also provided with a few different options of BBQ sauce ensuring that everyone can get a flavor they can enjoy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also great with an interior that embraces the U.S and it's veterans. At noon everyday the play the national anthem out of respect for active military members and veterans. The staff are also super helpful and attentive.

We have been to Mission BBQ before but not this location. We remember enjoying it so we figured we would try this one out since it was near our hotel. We arrived a little after 11am on a Friday, which is the time they open. It felt pretty cool that they have parking reserved for veterans! It was not very busy, but there were a couple of tables occupied. They have both inside seating and an outside covered seating area. The way this works is that you go up to the counter, place your order, have a seat and they call your name to pick it up when it is ready. We stood at the counter and checked out the menu board. The kitchen area is exposed right behind the order counter. This is a BBQ place with all the standard BBQ foods like brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans, green beans, etc. My wife chose the brisket with green beans and it comes with a piece of cornbread. I chose the pulled pork sandwich with fries but I also ordered a side of the mac and cheese because we wanted to try it. We then filled our drinks and had a seat at a booth inside. We noticed the six different BBQ sauces and picked out which ones we wanted to try. Their mission is to remind everyone what makes our country great - its heroes. The men and women who serve our communities and our country. Our name was called a short while later and we went to pick it up at the counter. Everything looked delicious. We had a seat and dug in. Everything tasted delicious. We especially enjoyed the mac and cheese and the green beans. The place really filled up as we sat there and the Friday lunch rush progressed. At 12 noon as they do everyday, we were fortunate enough to participate in the playing of the Star Spangled Banner as everyone faced the flag of this great nation we live. We left full, satisfied and feeling more patriotic. This was another great stop at a Mission BBQ, we will return.

The one blip was when we first entered, the young-ish man at the host desk looked at us with a "What are you doing here?" grimace. I was stunned since the hosts are usually very happy to see patrons come in. Beyond that, though, we had a lovely time. Our server was quite friendly and got hubs customized Cuban order just right. I had the killer tomato basil soup and tasty grilled cheese. I also got an order to go of the Buffalo Chicken wrap. It was yummy the next day for lunch. We hadn't been to NYAJ's in years. It had somehow fallen off our dining radar. We'll be back more often after our recent terrific dinner.

The chicken dumplings where served in a citrus soy bath, so sour on the taste buds it made me pucker. Additionally, upsettingmy stomach all night. Suggestion put the sauce on the side. They also lacked the crunch associated with dumplings. No sure if they were not cooked or the citrus soy bath damped the experience. The Waldorf Salad was as expected. I subsituted a different chicken option. The people experience was a 5. The food experience is somewhere between and 2-3 stars. I have had better at this location.
