Got the two meats sampler and the collard green as well as fries. The issues were that the brisket was a bit too salty and tough. The turkey was juicy but still a little bit dry. The turkey was also a bit too salty for me. The honored my preference of fries with no salt which was good. The collard greens were not too heavy. The cornbread was pretty good. The best part of the experience was the service as the staff were very friendly and they stopped at 12:00 noon to sing the national anthem as they do everyday - I can see why veterans like this place so much. And also the portion was a bit small even though it's probably standard. I do wish that the meat was a bit less salty to make it more tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good atmosphere and service just a bit too salty for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Solid bbq joint near Livonia I ordered online and it was easy to pickup. Counter service was nice and helpful for my first time [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall good vibes[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Brisket was good but was a bit dry Potato salad was good and mac and cheese and great but quite heavy Overall definitely recommend if u want BBQ in the area

We have been to Mission BBQ before and while my husband really likes it, I've always been meh about it. Today though, I got the baby back ribs which fell off the bone. I was excited based on that, thinking they'd be delicious. I was so, so wrong... they were so salty I couldn't even eat them. I got a side of cheesy potatoes; those were good. My husband had the pulled pork, mac n cheese, and cornbread. I didn't try the pork, but the mac and cornbread were also good. For the two of us, it was $30. The staff was really nice and friendly. The wait for our food took longer than normal as they were working on a catering order at the same time. Unfortunately, I'm not dying to come back.

I was craving bbq so I stopped here for a late dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was super busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You order your meal and pay for it at the counter and then they bring it out to your table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It looks like the place is decorated as a tribute to current and veteran service members.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of greens with a drink. The service was great. The food was something to eat for the time being...

Brisket and mac&cheese with some corn bread. $16ish as of 1/25

Decent bbq place. 6 different sauces to choose from. Order at counter and delivered to table. Prices were high by my standards but probably what is standard these days... $13ish for meat or sandwhich and sides are $3-4. We paid $38 for 2 meals, 2 sides and a drink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was clean and decorated nicely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathrooms were single person use.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was cold in there (my wife said). I thought it was ok. It is winter outside so that may inflience the temp a little as the door open and closes[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Mission BBQ is an order at the counter and have a seat restaurant, which I didn't realize. It was fine, but we meet friends there and we would have enjoyed being waited on and served. For this type of restaurant and the portions of food, it was over priced! At least we didn't have to tip. Hubby and I thought the food was good but not $40 good. The brisket was tender, mac and cheese was good, baked beans were alright along with the corn bread. The restaurant was decked out with military memorabilia and it had some unique touches. But with the high prices and distance from our house, we won't return.

Been coming here for a few years haven't even finished my meal and I'm already telling you it's the spot to go. friendly service always quick and if you have something you may need to wait for they will bring it too your table pretty quickly. Always a good meal great company

I know brisket can be hit or miss, but this time it was some of the best I've ever had! Moist without being too fatty and seasoned very nicely. It was also a very generous portion for the price. The selection of sauces is the best of any BBQ place I've ever been to. They were ALL very solid. Mac and cheese was a solid B+ but the fries were cold and over seasoned. It can be really hard to get fresh cut fries right. These were not right. To get high moisture potatoes like these crispy, you need to fry them twice. I would prefer frozen fries cooked properly over these. Cornbread, well.... I saw a lot of uneaten, dry cornbread on people's trays. Biscuits would be a great upgrade. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I know their business model revolves around military and first responder personnel (which is completely awesome!), but the decor of patches and stickers everywhere has gotten out of control to the point of being kind of distracting to the dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] May be time for a "less is more" approach.

I blamed it on the holiday but it seems to be something they may want to address since it wasn't just me. But other than that, the food was pretty durn good. My only other complaint was that there is no seating while you're waiting for your table. I'm sure there's a reason behind it..especially once I saw the carry out line down the seating area. For my first visit here I got their basic cheeseburger where I added Bacon and a second patty upgrading from a 1/4 pounder to a 1/2 Lb burger. At $10.50 which included the two upgrades of bacon and 2nd patty was a deal in my opinion especially when you consider the quality of the burger. Facility itself is clean and large with a lot of tables, both indoor and outdoor dining.
