We were feeling like steak for our Valentine's dinner, everyplace was booked in advance. We decided on an early dinner, I reserved a place in line before we left the house. We only waited 10 min before we got our table. I work in the food service industry, I was really impressed by the staff, it seemed to be a well oiled machine. They got us in and out quick and the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered a house marg beer and fried pickles to start. Those came out quickly. The Margarita was decent and was only $5. The basket of fried pickles was really full and had ranch and a Cajun sauce. We both ordered ribeye steaks with baked potatoes and salad. The salads were fresh and the rolls were reliably yummy and warm. The ribeyes were delicious and cooked perfectly. Mariah was our server, she was attentive and efficient. We didn't feel rushed, but I have to say, I was so impressed that they turned the tables quick! From when we got our drinks, we had eaten and packed our leftovers in about 30 min. First off, with the place already being a bit loud, the staff that sat us tried talking to us on the way to the table-couldn't hear anything she said. They Definitely need an educated staff on alcohol. My brother ordered a specific drink and what he got was nothing close. When asked, the bar tender insisted it was the right thing. (Our waitress was a bit young and didn't seem to know much about alcoholic drinks, so she's not to blame). Even the manager came by though and said it was the right drink when it wasn't at all close. Based on the picture, description and my brother's previous experience with the drink he ordered-what he got was wrong. When the bill came, it was even listed as the wrong drink too. The server was kind and kept our other beverages refilled. However food came a bit later than expected and one plate was lukewarm; another, the cheese on the fries was crusty hard as if they sat under a heat lamp. Oh, and we were there celebrating my niece's birthday and they never came by and did there sing/cheer for her, but there were about 3 others that occurred while we were there. This location in Westland was the worst Texas Roadhouse I have ever been to-it's so bad that it gives the whole chain a bad name. I will not ever be back to this location. read more

The food is always good. I did get ribs for the first time. They were very tasty but could have been meatier. The bread as always amazing. Country fried chicken was great as well. The drinks were very good. We always enjoy our meals here. I don't usually deviate from steak as theirs is one of the best. read more

My friend and I had lunch before going to see a coworkers play. We were FERAL hungry. The service was exceptional from the hostess with the mostest to our darling server. The rolls were hot and delicious, the bags of peanuts and pail were adorable. We both had the house salad (with ranch of course) and filets with baked potatoes. It just really hit the spot! This place is packed and has a wait. The service is okay but the waitress really never cleared the table . Would disappear and not return sometimes . The food again was okay but not memorable. Low and behold, years later, I came back once more one weekend randomly for a date night. We sat at the bar within 3 minutes of us walking in. Our waiter was very attentive and welcoming. He brought us over some rolls and brown sugar butter. Those were quite yummy. For appetizers we got the blooming onion and twisted mozzarella sticks. Both were good, no complaints. The marinara sauce made from scratch was my favorite part. For entrees I ordered beef tips with a side of string beans and rice. My fiance ordered the country fried chicken with loaded potatoes and a cesar salad. I really enjoyed my meal. The beef tips were cooked and seasoned great and the string beans were freshly phenomenal. My fiance liked his meal as well, except the salad. It looked great but lacked major flavor. They should change whatever dressing they're using on there because its literally making the salad trash. We have enjoyed Texas Roadhouse for a while now. Only complaint is the level of noise inside. If you have a kid with sensory issues, maybe steer clear. Their steaks are always cooked well and their sides are tasty. I usually go for the mashed potatoes and gravy, it is great to dip the steak in it. My wife enjoys the bbq chicken. I cannot forget their famous rolls and honey butter. They will always pack some to go, if you ask. It is almost always busy, but service is pretty prompt. Definitely a good spot for steaks or meat. read more

I was able to order butterflied filet the first time I ordered. Not the second time. First time I ordered medium. Yesterday I ordered medium rare. Medium was better. From my experience this place only hires pretty girls. Which if you get the right one, you're okay. If you don't, you get a big white truck blocking you leaving because said pretty girl is talking to her bf for over 10 minutes when your I order should be ready. I order takeout only and I have always tipped. I will never order from them again. Never order pickup from restaurants on a Monday. But this place - nope. I will start with we didn't have a long wait. It went down hill from there. They sat us under a ceiling vent. Twice I mentioned how cold it was. The server said it would go off soon, I was very uncomfortable sitting at the table cold during the whole meal. We requested onions in our salad, that didn't happen. We came here for our anniversary. We've ordered our meals,,the place was half empty and we waited a half hour for our dinner before food was brought to us. I hand picked a 16 oz sirloin steak and they brought me a ribeye steak, so the manager Jess came out and asked me is everything okay when she new what the problem was ,she asked me do I want them to make it over, my wife was already eating, I told her no we came to have dinner together not to eat after one another. So she make like she was accommodating us by deducting the meal that they got wrong that was sent back, and gave us two appetizer coupons when you buy a entrée and one was expired, the manager Jess showed no compassion for the horrible experience, we were regular customers at this location for 17 years, and never had any problems, be careful Jess is a horrible manager who shows no concerns for customers. read more

Arrived about 5:00pm on Monday 11/17/2025. Many patrons were waiting for tables when we arrived. The tables that were in use were at about 70%. There were a lot of open tables. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated. We were graciously served by our waitress- didn't remember her name. Wife and I placed our order. Wait time for our meal was unusually long for service at this location. We waited 25 minutes for our entrees. Wife's potato was lukewarm- unusual for this establishment. My meal was cold. Kabob- not warm at all. Veggies- cold. Mushrooms- cold. Baked potato- like my wife's was lukewarm. I called our server and she offered to have meal re-made. She said a manager would bring out second meal to insure I was satisfied. We waited about another 20 minutes. Manager came out with meal. The result was exactly the same. Cold kabob. Lukewarm potato. Cold mushrooms. In this day and age with high turnover at service establishments, this kind of service has become the norm. But we almost always have a good experience at this location. Usually service is attentive and food is piping hot. We are retired and come here frequently. We are fortunate to be able to eat out a lot. Seldom have we left unsatisfied. This time was different. I don't know why the manager didn't go back and wait for my second try at a hot meal to come up. A kabob takes about 5 minutes to grill. But I waited 20 minutes for the redo only to be completely disappointed a second time. With the high turnover in the service business these days, hiccups are going to happen. But there needs to be someone in the back of the house making sure standards are met to insure the best customer experience. Baked potatoes hot? Veggies on the steam table hot? Pot of sautéed mushrooms hot? Food plated to presentation standards? Get someone who gives a darn checking the food as it's plated and get it right out to the customer. Not a customary experience for us here. They do a lot of volume. We were in the restaurant for 90 minutes and left irritated. We had a total of 3 meals setup (one for wife and 2 for me) and most of the food was cold each time. Do better. read more

I give Texas Roadhouse 3 starts because of the extra long wait time, called in for a 5:00table for 10 was sat at 6:00, and we didn't even get to sit together, had to do sit at 2 different booths. Service was ok, food was good, and the bathrooms were disgusting! No toilet paper, and there was water, well I hope it was water, all over the floor. Was visiting out of town and was in the mood for a steak. This was the place closest to my hotel so o gave it a shot since I have never been to a TRH. Sunday evening, pretty busy but was able to snag a seat at the bar. I was instantly greeted with a smile by Zee who took care of me this evening- her and Brenden running the bar were great and attentive. Ordered the bone in ribeye- which was perfectly cooked to medium rare. A little bit more rare by the bone but juicy and tender nonetheless. This was my first time eating here. I got a gift card as a retirement gift. The food was just okay. We ordered the blooming onion appetizer with the cheese sauce and jalapeños. The cheese sauce is good in the restaurant, but not after it gets cold to reheat, after you take it home. My food order was a 20 oz. bone-in ribeye steak with a side of mushrooms, a baked potato, and a Caesar salad. My husband's order was the 12 oz. ribeye steak and ribs combo, with two sides; he ordered steak fries and mac-and-cheese. We asked for the steaks to be grilled medium and seared, but they were only cooked medium not seared. The fat around the steaks had not been rendered enough! My husband didn't like the mac-and-cheese. The cooked macaroni was covered with the cheese sauce, then extra shredded cheese was added, and piled on top of the mac-and-cheese, but the server said, it is never baked. So, that was sent back for a side of corn. I've never had a 20 oz. bone-in ribeye never grilled with the fat not properly rendered. Our server, Mason was excellent and very attentive. I made sure he was tipped well. However, The ambiance was too crowded and noisy. Most of our food we did not finish, we had a lot of take out containers. I re-cooked all of our food which we brought home. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. Went last night for dinner. Went in was told would have a 10 minute wait but name was called right away and we were seated. Placed our order but seemed as though it took forever to get our meal. My husband seemed satisfied with his ribeye and ribs combo however I was less than please with my beef tips and mashed potatoes. The beef tips were very tough and grisly and the mashed potatoes were like lumpy soup, I could not eat them unless I put them on a piece of meat as they ran right through the fork. Visits to Texas Roadhouse are a pretty regular occurrence in our household. If we don't want to think about dinner and just want a casual and comfortable place to go, we stop here. The only issue is that it seems everyone else feels the same way. Like this place is always sooooo busy. I definitely recommend downloading the app and using their waitlist feature. It helps cut down on your time waiting at the restaurant. The things I get here most often are the ribeye steak, the country fried steak, ribs, or chicken critters. For a side, I always go with a salad (either house or Caesar), and the baked sweet potato -- always opting to top with marshmallows, of course. It's a chain restaurant, so if you've been to one you know what to expect, but it's a great place for a more casual dinner with a great staff. There's a reason we keep coming back! read more

Sat there waiting and asking girl at desk how much longer and 45 minute's later was told we are the next to be seated. We did the early bird dinner. 6 oz Sirloin, sweet potato with the works, bowl of chili, Herb encrusted chicken breast with a house salad and baked potato butter and sour cream. We got the onion blossom. It was good. The chicken had way too much seasoning on it, it was overwhelming. Took away from the chicken. Had it before and it was great, less spice. Both Potatoes were excellent. My husband enjoys their chili. The service was great, it was our 27th Anniversary and they hooted and hollered for us. Dinner was fun. A trip back to my hometown state and yes, I had to visit my wonderful steak house. This house was packed and stacked with customers. I did get a table right away as it was just two of us. OMG! The noise level was so high because of all the customers, staff and chatter it was hard to have a good conversation. When it comes to good food and a comfortable atmosphere we can communicate later. I ordered my usual. Onion blossom appetizer, pulled pork, green beans and a salad. My meal was coming out fast, fresh and smelling amazing. It just amazes me how sufficient this restaurant runs considering how my customers they serve everyday! Kudos to the magnificent skills of the management and staff to run a thriving restaurant like this one. Haven't been here in a while and I really need to come more. It's always so busy, but today we were able to get in pretty quickly. The waitstaff was great from the get go. Right away took our drink order and gave us bread and peanuts. The table and restaurant were clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. We both ordered the 12 oz ribeye with baked potato. Both of us had side salads. Starting with the bread, it was warm and fresh, but wasn't a fan of their cinnamon butter. The salad was ok, wasn't too keen on the ranch. This was our second time to a Texas Roadhouse and only because my daughter wants to have a "redneck hillbilly white trash experience". I wouldn't say it's all that but she's just 12. But honestly I can't understand the appeal of this type of food. Everything had salt on it. And everything was so greasy. We ordered two appetizers - rattlesnake balls, fried pickles, and chicken strips. The waitress slid into our table like a baseball player sliding into base and our chicken slid off the plate and onto the serving tray. She asked us if we wanted them so we could pick them up ourselves since she didn't want to touch our food. And while I appreciated that gesture, that serving tray was clearly the same tray used for bussing tables and it was so dirty and gross, there was no way I wanted them. And my daughter watched me and I knew she wanted so much to take me to a nice dinner. (She asked her dad if she could use the credit card he gave her to take me out on Mothers Day.) So I didn't want to make a fuss, and I picked them up and put them in the basket with my rattlesnake balls since I had no plan to eat those either. So gross. Who came up with a recipe to make a cheese scoop of spicy velveta and drop em in the deep fryer? The fried pickle batter was so salty I only ate a second one cuz I thought the first might have been a bad one. Turns out they were all bad. My daughter got a side of Mac and Cheese - one of her ol' time favourites, which she didn't even take one bite of cuz it looked like Mac in milk, cuz the "cheese" was actual LIQUID. Wait, what? Anywho-- moving right along-- we also ordered tow dinner salads - my daughter had the grilled chicken Caesar and I had grilled salmon critter salad. My daughter couldn't eat anything more since her stomach started hurting so badly. My plate was dirty all around the perimeter and looked awful, but again, I didn't want to hurt my daughter by voicing my dissatisfaction. The waitress had left a gadget on our table that had some sort of games to play, so we scanned the code and played each other a game of trivia. The categories were mainly music culture and both of us guessed every answer since neither knew any of the names of musicians in the questions. My daughter played a second game with others around the globe (apparently). We received our $71 dinner and saw we were charged $2 to play the games. Just WoW. Never ever again. Such a gross experience. And when I thought my daughter wasn't looking, I rated the place 2 stars on the same gadget as is was how the place took the payment, but she was... and before she slept and I was thanking her again for the lovely time together, she sheepishly said "you rated it two stars." I did, because the food and service were not good, but I still enjoyed spending my time with her and her gift to take me out for a meal. read more
