Freedom isn't Free... We had a tasty BBQ dinner at Mission BBQ tonight. We found them on Yelp & they had excellent reviews. After visiting, we can tell you they are a superior BBQ place. The food was wonderful - pulled port, mac & cheese, coleslaw, french fries...all delicious! The best part was that because it's Veterans Day, the restaurant is giving free sandwiches to Vets & First Responders. Then we learned that on other days, they get free dessert. How fabulous!! 5 Stars and bonus points since the entire staff was super! A staff member came over to ensure we were enjoying our food & our cashier came out to give us more info on the program they offer for our heroes. Check out the many restaurants in varios states. They have 9/11 memorabilia and photos of vets/first responders. More restaurants & shops should do this!! We will definitely be back here!!

Atmosphere was very cute and homey. The customer service was great. We had a large group order and everything came out quickly. They even asked us how the food was when we were eating and picked up our plates afterwards. Super friendly! Food. Pulled pork sandwich 8/10. The bun wasn't anything too special but the pork was very tender. On its own it was missing a little something, but the bbq sauces on each table did just the trick. Pork could have been warmer but overall very delicious. Banana Pudding 7/10. The whipped cream and the pudding were separate, so some pieces were a little too sweet while others weren't sweet enough, but for the price I'd say it was worth it! Mac and Cheese 6/10. A little too cheesy for me, but again for the price definitely worth. Bbq Shrimp 10/10. Seasoning and sauce was AMAZING Cornbread 8/10. Tasted exactly like how I imagined. Cheesy Potatoes 9/10. GET THESE INSTEAD OF THE MAC AND CHEESE. Game changer Overall it was a great experience!

As a service member I greatly appreciate mission bbq , not only is the atmosphere welcoming but there is a story on each one of the walls showing the love and appreciation to all of our brothers and sisters. The food was also very good I mean outstanding . For this to be a chain restaurant I am so surprised on the quality of food. I got lean brisket and it was so moist I also got the pulled chicken which was seasoned to perfection . The Mac n cheese delicious but baby the banana pudding was the star of the show and the Memphis belle sauce was so perfect . I will absolutely be back ! Thank you to all the employees that took care of me and gave me a complimentary desert since I'm active duty !

The four of us ordered various meals and extra sides so we could try everything. The employees were very friendly, and when we mentioned that it was our first visit the employee taking our order made great suggestions. Service was excellent and we didn't have to wait long for our food. We all enjoyed the food. Everything we ordered was excellent. There were two BBQ sauces on the table but neither was spicy. A friendly employee offered to bring spicy BBQ sauce, she brought it in a small cup and it was just spicy enough. The only issue we had was that the music was much too loud. I like music, and don't mind loud-ish music in restaurants. But this music was so loud that we couldn't even have conversation. I'm certified in hearing testing and happened to have my sound level meter with me. I checked the sound of the music and it was 94.9 decibels, which exceeds OSHA's safe limit of 85 decibels. 94.9 is a level where permanent hearing damage can occur. Besides the super loud music the rest of the visit was good. Other reviews have mentioned the blaring music as well.

I ordered the family meal which comes with all their meats, four sides and four rolls. I noticed the rolls were missing and the girl at the register said they were out of rolls. Paying over $80 with tax and tip I'd expect something to make up for it. Brisket: extremely dry and had to put a lot of their BBB sauce on it to make it edible. Ribs: tasty but hardly any meat Pork: good, but I've had much better Sausage: no complaints, delicious Special Tea: had an odd taste that I couldn't put my finger on it, but wouldn't order again. I had to put sauce on everything but the sausage and good bbq doesn't need sauce. They had a special banana pudding cheesecake that was honestly the best thing we had and it was absolutely delish. The service is great, but very loud inside so stand near the front or you may not hear your name. This place has been on my bucket list, especially after seeing all the TikTok's and cooking shows he's been on, but I won't be back.,

This restaurant has been here forever, but gets really great inspections from the health department despite being an older building. We ordered to-go and ate in the parking lot. What a feast! We ordered their current special: a full slab on payback ribs and 2 sides for a mere $14.99. That was to take home, but we sampled it in the car and no silverware was needed. These ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy and thick. It was hard to remember that these were for later, we wanted them all now! Our sides were fries and baked beans. The beans were good, but the fries were nothing special. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich with green beans and hasn't stopped raving about the green beans the entire time he was eating. He said the sandwich was delicious, too! I like meat cooked well-done, so I ordered a burnt ends sandwich and coleslaw. What a happy surprise that the meat was thinly sliced instead of the usual chunks served at other places! Every single piece of meat was well-cooked, tasty, and not at all fatty or greasy. I'm a fan! The coleslaw was delicious, too! Our to-go ordered was served with a smile, plenty of napkins and silverware and ketchup and salt and pepper and barbecue sauce. I found a new restaurant to crave (again)!

The waitress responded promptly with our drinks (No Diet Coke) only Coke Zero...No problem for me, but Dawn dislikes the Coke and Pepsi zero products. The Restaurant is nice, clean, spacious and well lighted (a plus for me) The waitstaff, and servers were cordial and professional. Not a big crowd, but it was nice with football on the t.v. and a little country music playing at a nice level. My 1/2 lb burger was cooked and seasoned well, it arrived good and hot too. The cold slaw was good, and tasty. Dawn had the 4 seasons salad, and she said it was good and the grilled chicken was palatable. Overall we had a good meal and decent experience. We would definitely come back again. Jewelz, our server made several trips to our table, and kept our glasses full.

So far, EVERYTHING on the menu sounds delicious and the quandary I found myself in was that I was…read moreso pulled in a million directions on what I wanted to order...I just couldn't decide! We started with Carolina Tater Skins. Absolutely DELICIOUS! Potato skins with Roast Pork, cheese, bacon, green onions, topped with bbq sauce...cup of sour cream in the middle. Didn't last over 3 minutes for the two of us and there were 6 of them! They were THAT delicious. I ordered the Birria Tacos (3) with a side salad and my husband got the Cuban Clucker sandwich with a side of crinkle fries. We spoke to our waitress about how we had wanted to try their food for awhile now but just so happened to find ourselves about 1.3 miles from this location tonight and made the decision to try them tonight! She said they were best known for their wings and just how to get them. So we also ordered 10 wings done just that way. Our meals were brought not too long after we demolished our fabulous appetizer. Wow! Absolutely crazy good! I pounded the three Birria Tacos in record time, in between also demolishing my side salad. My husband said his fries were perfect and he's STILL working on that huge sandwich as I write this! Lol The chicken wings, while they looked delicious, once I tried one, there was a strange fishy taste that came across so strong on the wings that didn't have the sweet and spicy sauce on them, that I couldn't eat them. It actually made me gag. I just couldn't eat them. The waitress asked us how we liked them, so I explained what was wrong with them. She offered to have them remade but we declined. She told the manager to come speak to us about them. He was nice enough, but looked intimidated by us (a 61 and 62 yr old?) and kinda looked anywhere but at me when I was explaining what the problem was with the wings. He was said he'd investigate. Our waitress came back and asked if he spoke with us. I said he did. She asked what he said and I said he told us he'd investigate the problem. She asked us if he said he's take the wings off our bill and I said no. She said she'd take them off anyways because it was a whole 10 wings we didn't eat. I said, thanks but I'm not trying to get free food especially if she gets in trouble for doing that. She said but you didn't even eat them! I said she couldn't have paid ME to eat them! The taste was so gross I actually used a napkin to wipe the taste off my tongue! She laughed. We went ahead and ordered dessert to make up for the wings we sent back and then didn't want after all. The bourbon peach bread pudding turned out to be sold out, so we settled on beignet bites for him and Pecan Pie for myself. Both were EXCELLENT! WE will definitely be back to see our fantastic waitress Anna and to try more of their menu because they have some of the most delicious sounding entrees! All in all, we were impressed by the fantastic food (minus the fishy wings), but everything was fresh, delicious and very decently priced! Great place to bring the family because there's something for everyone here. Chicken tenders to burgers and all kinds of sandwiches, soups, salads, pasta...diversity without being outrageous. Great combos! Can't wait to try something else next visit! You know it was a great meal when your husband turns to you as you're walking to the car together and he says "thank you babe. That was really good!". 'Nuff said?

The over fried food :( The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The hostess nearly had a heart attack when we told her 15 people but Mr. Michael was more than accommodating and our waitress Destiny crashed out before we were seated but she was on it, friendly and attentive! She always made sure we were looked at and answered our questions. Alright the food ..... While for the most part it was DELICIOUS, there was some that someone back there loves to over fry the food. All of our sweet potatoes fries were burnt and had the taste of just used oil, it had no meat. The one that made us upset was the beef empanada, it came out doo doo brown and it was not appetizing. The texture was horrendous, no airy crisps to the bread and taste horrible! Even when putting the salsa and sour cream, the freezer burn and over fried cooking oil taste over powered everything. Destiny said that they didn't have empanadas ready and weren't expecting to serve a great amount... Whoever is in the kitchen then should prep and be mindful that a kitchen is a live operation... Gordan Ramsey would never. It was horrific and my friend still paid because she didn't want to complain, we ordered 8 plates of those and 4 were left over. Basically, your food could be over fried, inconsistent, served with no passion and over powered with raw oil.
