Good bbq food here. Came to grab some Lunch with my partner we shared the 3 meat platter. we got pulled chicken, pulled pork and brisket. We also ordered macaroni and cheese as a side and french fries. Food was ok. All meats were good but the Corn bread tasted old and Fries were not to my liking. Service was fast. Prices were fair.

We were in the area for some shopping and needed a place for lunch and found this on Yelp. Holy awesome bbq Batman! What a pleasant surprise this was - Noah greeted us at the counter and walked us through the menu and made recommendations. We got the meat sampler (jalapeño cheddar sausage, brisket and pulled pork) and made it an XXL with mac & cheese and cole slaw, and got an order of the smoked meatloaf. Everything was soooo good - the brisket has this awesome crust that has such good flavor from whatever they do when they're smoking it. Don't let the fact that this is a chain turn you off. While we were eating Noah came out and gave us a tray of brownies for being first time customers- what a lovely touch to an already amazing visit! We live kind of far from here but we're already planning another trip back!

This is why you can't listen to stuff off the internet. Went here and ordered the pulled chicken it had way too much seasoning on it. The Mac n cheese was dry no good. The baked beans were smoked but just ok and the corn bread was nasty I will not even come back nor should you !

I like Mission BBQ because it's casual, convenient, tasty menu and fair prices . My sister was visiting so we stopped here on a rainy day to get lunch . It was a good experience. Food was good, everything was chill . I've been to many locations and they are pretty consistent which is great .

Very good bbq. Amazing service. The staff gives it the 4th star. They blow customer service out of the park. Everything has been very tasty. Great variety of bbq sauces on the table. No frills dining room. Country music and All American decor interior. Great brownies too!

This place has a really nice cafeteria vibe, but the food is way better than what you get at school! The first time I visited, I felt right at home. I decided to order a little bit of everything to sample, and it just so happened to be my service dog Gucci's birthday! We enjoyed our meal outside since the weather was perfect. The ribs, pulled pork, corn bread, and brisket were absolutely delicious! Gucci loved the food too! The manager even came by and surprised us with a complimentary brownie, which was such a sweet touch! The atmosphere and service here are definitely worth experiencing. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot for lunch or dinne. It's fantastic!

I was craving some Mac and cheese and wanted to come here after my sister recommended it for a good BBQ spot. The parking lot here is a little hectic at the stop signs at the exit but at least it's a big lot with plenty of places to park. We took our order at the register and they called our name when our order was ready. We tried the 3 meats combo with brisket, jalapeño and cheese sausage, and pulled pork; wings, ribs, cheesy potatoes, collard greens, and of course their Mac and cheese, with their summer time lemonade, and complimentary pieces of cornbread. The brisket was juicy and tender. I wish we would have gotten the bigger portion of this. The sausage was good, tasted even better when I warmed it up in my air fryer. I appreciate that the chicken wings were not dry. The ribs fell right off them bone, the one piece I tried was a little fatty. I'm not a big pork fan, so I skipped the shredded beef. I like that the collard greens weren't bitter, but I like Hindsight's better. I wish it had a cheese pull but at least I like that the Mac and cheese was crispy on top but also liked hindsight's better. The lemonade had a nice clean taste to it, It wasn't too sweet. I wouldn't mind if it was tangier but still was great. I like how there are variety of BBQ sauces ready on each table for our convenience. I like that this place fundraises for Veterans, local Police, Firefighters, First Responders etc. so I recommend you support and try them out.

This is my first time here at this place and I enjoyed it very much. The inside decor is very patpatriotic and all about first responders, law enforcement and fire fighters. I got alot of food for the sake of trying everything I could. I ordered the 3 meat combo with mac and cheese. And 1 order of wings. We also got collard greens and mash potatoes. The ribs fell off the bone beautiful. The wings were juicy and had that great smokey taste to them. The jalapeño cheddar sausages hit the spot lovely. Definitely will try this again.

Ameeeee!!!! OMG this place is exquisite for my palate, the ribs are so delicious that when I eat somewhere else I only regret it. I have returned a couple of times and the service has no comparison to any other place, the atmosphere is always clean and pleasant, as well as entertaining and respectful for all the beautiful photos on the walls. A great place for a great meal : This day was my service dog's #5th birthday, and I'm not very lucky that I enjoy it like I do.

Stopped in for a bite and I was pleasantly surprised. BBQ isn't my go to, especially in CT. It wasn't too busy for a Sunday after furniture shopping, I got the pulled chicken sandwich with a side of fries and my mom got the wings. The sandwich wasn't dry and each table had its own different sauces to try. So packed with flavor! The fries were super fresh too. The wings were definitely a hit though, the skin wasn't tough and seasoned well! The workers were efficient and the place was clean.

I wanna say a few things about my visit at mission barbecue. First off I want to talk about tanner he was the man at the register. He treated me like family made sure I knew everything I was getting. He even gave me great advice. The food and ambience was very solid 8.5/10. But the service jumped it up to 10/10. I will be but very soon to try more!

5 plus stars! My family and I just came from eating dinner there we just happen to be in the area and I knew this restaurant was here so I decided to make it a stop for dinner. Since never being there before they explained to us how to order and we ordered brisket, macaroni and cheese, salmon, fries, turkey, and fries. Oh my goodness!! I'm still in a food coma. The food is absolutely superb. It was ready very quickly made from scratch as I was informed and absolutely delicious. My husband's turkey was something that he's never tasted in his life. It was super moist, incredibly flavorfuland literally sent him through the roof! We've come close to this at another famous bbq spot in CT. I'm not a major foodie, but I like good food. The service was great and the people very nice. The ambiance was a normal noise level, where you could still have a conversation with someone. The restaurant is filled with memorabilia from the different branches of the military and the different EMT police department throughout Connecticut. I'm actually thinking of getting turkey catered from them. That's how good it is. Kudos to your team!

Growing up in a home with three sisters, Voll had several years experience of working in the kitchen as well as her parents' food establishments. After graduating with a degree in finance, Voll came up with an idea to open her own eatery. After some experimentation with her sisters in their parents' kitchen, it was decided that Voll's comfort food eatery would be exclusively dedicated to macaroni & cheese: a dish that most people have grown up with. The first Mac N' Out opened up at the Interstate 95 Northbound service center in Darien, with a standalone location opening in Milford the following month. The menu features at least 20 varieties of macaroni & cheese (from traditional to Mediterranean to Mexican) as well as "mac munchies", "mac wraps" and "Mac salads". Following the success of the first two locations, a take-out only location opened in Bridgeport in 2015. As of 2026, only the Milford location is still operating. I recently visited Mac N' Out with my younger son while we were in the area. It just so happens that my younger son's favorite food is Mac & cheese, so he was delighted to have lunch at an eatery that exclusively serves the classic comfort dish. We were so overwhelmed by all of the different toppings and flavor varieties. My son ordered the kid's portion of "Grandma's Mac" (white cheddar & American cheese), which came with apple slices and juice. I ended up ordering the "Fourth of July Mac" (Hummel Beef Franks, applewood bacon & cheddar cheese). This combo was very nostalgic for me, as my mother frequently made Mac & cheese with cut up Hummel hot dogs for me when I was a little boy. Both dishes were served to us still simmering in miniature cast iron skillets. The mac & cheese is very hot when it comes to you, but it's so delicious! I paired up my dish with a bottle of Foxon Park White Birch Beer. My son and I had a great experience at Mac N' Out and we would love to return to the future. There are so many more combos that we need to try!

Second visit here because I was extremely disappointed a month or two back from my first visit…read more Walked in about noon on a Saturday, the place was steady with takeout with no other guests dining in I was greeted warmly by the young lady working the front. Trying to stay safe and basic, ordered the plain macaroni and cheese, so I can get a baseline. I also ordered a fountain drink. With the tip it was $15 and change. I took a seat after filling up my fountain drink, and waited about 10 minutes for the mac & cheese As I'm waiting for my order, a Scooby Doo cartoon is playing on the not needed television in my left ear. From my right ear, I'm listening to the staff worker in the kitchen singing to what sounds like Italian music. Could've been Spanish music. A little bit disturbing, as the music and the worker were both quite loud Within 10 minutes, my order arrives. The cast-iron pan with the macaroni and cheese in it, a couple of napkins, and a fork. Now I may be old school, or maybe I'm missing something. Why can't this restaurant serve the food with a plate and a spoon for serving out of the cast-iron pan? I'm getting older. I'm not in college or high school anymore eating food out of a cast-iron pan. I actually like to sit down and enjoy a plated meal, whether at home or out paying good money. The only exception I could see would be grinders. But I want a plate here! And if you're gonna serve it in a cast-iron pan, I want a spoon. I was expecting a flashback to the awful mac & cheese I had last time I was here. Instead, I got a very creamy cheesy sauce and an almost al dente elbow macaroni. The serving was generous in the small cast-iron pan. I did find myself using salt and pepper, as I didn't taste any seasoning at all other than the breadcrumbs on top that I mixed in, with this order So I'm gonna stand with four stars, even though I almost want to give it another three. Thank you to the gracious server, without you, it would've been back to three stars. In closing, I drove an hour and almost 20 minutes down to retry this place. I went out of my way..... For future reference, for in door dining guests, it really would be nice to serve plates with the mac & cheese, and the cast-iron pan and maybe over a pot holder. A serving spoon is a must if you're gonna share this dish with somebody. Anybody older than college age will appreciate the plate or bowl to enjoy this meal from... trust me
