First timer here. I told this lovely staff lady that it was our first time here and she was more than happy to walk it through for us. Major points for that. I ordered the XXL pulled pork sandwich which was delicious. Mac and cheese with Green beans and a sweet tea. The sweet tea was lovely and the Mac n cheese was so good my son stole mine and said it was the bEST! I would argue that my green bean were the best! They were like my Great Grandmother's recipe from Wheeling WV. The best southern green bean ever. . My husband ordered a chicken pulled and a really good potato salad. He also liked the choices of sauces on the table and the sweet tea. My daughter got the baby back ribs which she loved and bbq beans and cornbread. The loss of the fifth star was for those sides. Your baked beans needed brown sugar or molasses and your cornbread was dry and needed more buttermilk or butter. My son had Mac n cheese and ribs and said he loved it and wanted to live here. My husband said to tell the restaurant I would give them a fifth star. If my brothers entry for the smoker wins lol. Great idea for a Father's Day entry. read more

I ended up here with a few friends for a quick lunch and the service was great. Fast to order and maybe 2-3 minutes to actually receive my food. The pulled pork sandwich was great with many choices of sauce to use with it. The price is cheap but you get a good portion of food for the money you do spend. They were also very pro-military which I thought was great. I would definitely recommend coming here for a quick lunch read more

Very good barbeque, but what makes this place truly special is the staff and their excellent customer service. We've eaten at the Warminster, Pa. location twice in the past month and, since we had our dog with us, we ate in the outside dining area. Each time, as soon as a staff member noticed us, they brought out a large bowl of water for the dog and asked us if he'd like a bone :-) What's unusual for this style of restaurant is that staff members came outside to check on us and ask if we'd like refills on our drinks. All in all, I think Mission Barbeque and their business model is an absolute winner. read more

We have been here since opening day May 16th 2017. I never us to eat meat but my husband does. Well had to try the pulled pork, mac & cheese and baked beans it was the best barbecue we have had in this area. I found my love for meat at Mission Barbecue. Since then we have I have tried the salmon too salty and dry, chicken too dry and not my favorite, brisket delicious, sausage (no jalapenos) delicious, baby back rib to die for my favorite besides the pulled pork which my husband also loves, baked beans, cole slaw, mac & cheese, collard greens okay. I don't like regular ribs but I am sure they are tasty. We love this place and what it stands for the, Military all branches, as our daughter has given her service to the Air Force going on enlisted for 18 years and still going. When you run out of ribs people get an attitude which is uncalled for they need to understand that since you open you draw large crowds although the line is not always out the door their are certain times it will be. Went to Mission barbeque in Warminter, PA today for dinner. The sliced brisket was moist, lean, and just delicious. I had collard greens as a side. It was delicious and reasonable. We will be back again soon! Go there, you won't be disappointed. read more

First time here tonight. Was impressed with the friendly service, cleanliness and presentation of the food before boxing it up to go. My brisket sandwich was rather dry but good flavor and the Mac and cheese had good texture but was just meh on flavor. Boyfriend got the 3 meat platter and it was skimpy on the portion for the price but he enjoyed what was there. If in the area again I might go back but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here directly. read more

Was eager to try yet another BBQ place, looking for something that would rival the best BBQ I've ever tasted - in Alabama. Well, I'm still looking! This place wasn't as bad as most others, but it still misses the mark. I will say that the chicken was the best - it was tender, juicy and tasty. The brisket was dry, the ribs were fatty, and the pulled pork had very little taste. Cole slaw was good, mac & cheese was good, corn bread was not. A co-worker and I stopped omg for lunch this past week, figured we would give it a try, (honestly the truck outside smoking and that amazing smell is what pushed us!). WOW was I impressed. Having working for restaurants most of my life, I was amazed. The second you open the door to leaving the service was beyond my expectations. The register girl came around and explained everything and even let us sample their food. Before I even got a lid on my drink our food was up and the manager who gave us our food was amazing as well. He even took a min out of a busy shift (line to door) to thank us for coming in and trying the place, gave us FREE cheese cake and coupons for free food next time! I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I'm a big critic of BBQ restaurants as I have a smoker and like my own stuff better usually. I ordered the brisket & sausage combo. Both were great. Brisket was cooked and sliced just right, not overcooked. Sausage had jalapeno and cheese in it, nice kick to it. Had a side of mac and cheese which was excellent too, not watery or runny, they said they use 5 different kinds of cheese in it. This was our first visit to Mission BBQ, we got the ribeye and the pulled pork with a few sides. Both dishes were very delicious. While eating, my husband was checking out the menu and Chris, I believe the manager there, came over to us. He was very friendly. He offered us to try another item from the menu. He actually came back with a whole tray full of delicious food, even dessert! Everything was super delicious! Chris was the best! I have never experienced such great customer service. Very tasty barbecue at a reasonable price. The offerings are simple with some items being better than others. I would recommend almost all of the pulled meats and brisket, however the ribs were just ok as they did not seem to be properly trimmed when I had them. In subsequent visits the family said that the ribs were good. Overall I would recommend giving them a try as it's a nice and quick stop in dinner joint. read more

First time there today and it was quite crowded but the line moved fast. I chose the two meat combo with two sides. Had the sliced brisket, jalapeño and cheese sausage, potato salad, and mac & cheese. The only complaint I have is that the brisket was quite salty. Great! Everything is good. Love the BBQ but I tried the Turkey with the Alabama white sauce(you have to ask for it) and it was fantastic. It was hard for me to get away from bbq at a bbq joint but I took a chance with the Turkey and it paid off. Also my favorite fries. read more

Went to Missions 5/25/17 around 3pm, ordered baby back ribs and BBQ chicken two meals they come with cornbread nothing else. If you want a side it is extra so I ordered mac and cheese. The ribs were dry like cardboard, the chicken was dry also, the mac and cheese were over cooked. This place is not worth the money will not return. read more

This chain BBQ restaurant is now here, too! First heard about this joint's existence in DC a couple months back, tried it, liked it, and decided to give this place a try when I was in the area not too long ago (it does help that they gave out free sandwich coupons to help advertise :P). For those who don't know, this place serves up a nice littany of BBQ options in the form of sandwiches, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, etc. along with a nice littany of sides, desserts, drinks, and the like. They also have 6 types of sauce made in house to help give some kick to the meats you'll likely be getting should you choose to come here. Anyways, I ended up getting a half pound of the beef brisket along with a beef brisket sandwich (free coupon ftw) and two sides (green beans & potato special), which also came with free cornbread. Overall, the food here is decent. I liked the brisket & how soft and tender it was. A decent option, but indeed still a far cry from how TX does brisket (doesn't come close). As far as the sides go, the green beans were decent though the bacon mixed in doesn't really help the flavor too much. The potatos were pretty darn good though. Rich, creamy, and flavorful and definitely a good side to pick to complement. The beef brisket sandwich was similar - decent & on point. Overall, a decent BBQ joint with many made-to-order BBQ options but don't go here expecting TX-quality BBQ. Certainly worth a stop in if you're in the area though I'd hesitate making a special trip out here just for this joint (it's a chain, check to see if you have a location that's nearby!). read more

Although this is the only BBQ restaurant in the nearby area, as a person who has had good BBQ all over the country, this chain is pretty good and certainly the best around here. In the tradition of good Texas BBQ places, it is counter service. I got the two meat sampler of beef brisket and pulled pork (each 1/4 pound cooked -measured on a scale) that comes with a small cornbread for $8.99 and a side of the baked beans with brisket for $2. They give you a choice of sauces, but the true test is the flavor of the meat without sauce. Both cuts of meat were tender, moist and full of smoke flavor. I was extremely pleased. However, the cornbread was dry and the baked beans were one of the worse I've had with few beans or pieces of meat and mostly all goopy barbecue sauce (not recommended). I noticed the menu had steak too. The restaurant caters to vets and those in service, which is great. For example, on 9/11 firemen and police get a free sandwich. I will definitely come again for the meat. However, I would get a different side or skip the side. I did carryout but place looked clean. Service was quick. Certainly the best restaurant in Warminster for the price. read more

I was so impressed when I went in fir the first time. Friendly staff and a free brownie to try (delicious) while I waited for my take out order. My pulled park sandwich, NC style, was huge and very tasty. The ribs I picked up were thoroughly enjoyed by my husband. I did not know this, but at noon, they raise the flag to the National Anthem. The Warminster Pa location opened recently in a new shopping mall across from Costco, There is also a Chipotle a couple of doors away. Mission is to BBQ as Chipotle is to Mexican food. I really wanted to love this place because I love BBQ. But it was just ok. 3.5 stars, but I will round upward since they are still new. For starters, what BBQ place considers mashed potatoes to be seasonal? That should be a year-round staple. And while it was on the menu, they were sold out of them. (How does that happen in the middle of the afternoon?) They also have what sounds like a good selection of sauces. However, when my takeout order was ready, the clerk seemed bothered to have to tell me what sauces they have (there was no sign listing them) and only mentioned a couple types. Then she gave me 2 small cups and turned away. Why not offer me a single cup of 2 different types? Especially when the restaurant is new and people don't yet have a favorite? The food was good... a generous serving size of pulled chicken with a nice smoky flavor, decent mac & cheese. But please add mashed or mashed sweet potatoes to the permanent menu. read more
