Everyone is friendly & my alterations were ready on time. However, it seems expensive. All I had done was a simple hem on a dress & a skirt. Came out to $65, plus a little smelling of smoke (seamstress doesn't do her work there, she takes clothing off-site & returns). I took my jeans here to fix zipper but I have asked the owner to let me know the price beforehand! She called me and told me then I've decided not to fix. However, the fixer fixed before she notified her not to in time. Therefore, she gave me back the fixed pants in perfect condition without charge. Love this place! Not only are they really good at the services they provide, they such nice people. I've used a few other cleaners in the vicinity but it was like going to a fast food place. Most of the cleaners I've used it's no, Hi, hello, how are you" (I'm a chatty guy) most times not even much eye contact. I've had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well as their tailor...I wanted to sit down and have a cup of coffee and chat they were so nice! And the place seems almost always open so that you can drop off and pick up your clothes after work. I've have them clean my dresses, blazers & tennis shoes. They also do light alterations. I've been at Mission Cleaner a lot lately. I've had to do alterations and cleaning for several dresses for all the weddings I went to this past year. And I also had a lot of dresses and pants taken in after going down a couple sizes. Every single time, Ana, the tailor, has done a breathtaking job. I'm actually blown away each time I take home a finished dress and see how wonderfully it fits after being tailored by Ana. She is super fast too! Both Ana and Susanna, the owner, are a delight to work with. They are both gracious and charming and have big smiles on their face whenever I walk in to bother them. And I've bothered them a lot! I recently moved to Alhambra and needed two pants to have the legs slimmed down. Ms. Susana was extremely helpful and personally called me to let me know when her tailor (Ms. Ana) was in the shop. The process of being fitted went better and the suggestions Ms. Ana made in the end were better than what I could have wanted. Both pants were done on time and Ms. Susana gave me a 10% discount for being a first time customer and on top of that was the $1 off for the check in and complementary dry cleaning on both pants. Needed a pair of pants hemmed they came through good work. No cheap sewing here or single stitch b.s. with hem tape. I am super happy with the work I wear suits everyday and I just found my new tailor!!! Maybe it's a bit more expensive but you don't want the "other guy" to do it cheap unless that's who you are. This place is great!! I came in for denim alterations and was pleased to hear that what I wanted could be done. The seamstress explained to me just how she'd do it and gave me suggestions about the measurements. The lady at the register whom I assume is the owner or manager was super nice too! She offered me a discount for my first time even though the price was not bad for what I got and now I'm able to get more use of my jeans than I would've before! REMEMBER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR ALTERATIONS. Although I was lucky enough to come on the same day she was working and even though they were nice enough to help me out they said they usually require to make appointments. So don't get stuck having to come back. I wanted to wait a while before posting this to see the quality of materials and effort used to in the stitching/altering of my jeans and I do want to inform that I've washed them several times, worn them about 10 times each and there are no signs of loose threads or threads coming apart. Overall: Standard experience for a overly premium cost. The Good: Friendly, welcoming and seemed to do a good job. I decided to do some test runs in the area to find a new dry cleaners in the area and gave this shop a go. Clothes came back as expected, on a wire hangar in a plastic sheath, pretty standard. The Bad: Price. You'll be sure to see it in other reviews and I'm confirming it once more. $5+/$6+ for standard button-down shirts & pants is excessive. Even if they were located at a heavily trafficked location there is no justifying the high rates, but their location is nothing to boast off. They're shop was about 1/3 full and 2/3 empty. To compare against, my former dry cleaners charges literally HALF and their shop is to the brim with inventory. After I wash a shirt here 4-6 times I can just buy a new one! Note: Their dry cleaning is done off-site at a separate location. Something about that detracts from the experience. Adding another location in a system so reliant on logistics seems like an unnecessary risk on the consumer end. read more

Literally the WORST customer service Iv'e ever experienced! The lady was so rude. I had an appointment with her and she assumed that I wasn't going to show up so decided to cancel my appt, didn't even take my number down when I first made an appointment, so she couldn't even contact to confirm my appt. Very unprofessional, didn't seem like she wanted to help me. Didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. She had very short and wrong information for the questions I had asked. On top of that, she didn't even give me a solution she just stood and complained. I don't understand these 5 star reviews I wish I had gotten the same treatment. She was awful.
