Called Mission to have 2 gates replaced, Tim answered i explained what I wanted done he said he would be over the next day to estimate the job. The next day right on time Tim showed up he listened to what I wanted he gave me some great advice and we made the deal. Tim explained it would take about 2 weeks to fabricate the gates and he would be in touch. 1 week later he called and we scheduled the demo and temp gates. Alex and his crew showed up as scheduled demoed the gates installed all new posts and temp gates. 4 days later i get a call from Tim he said everything is ready when do i want my new gates? I got an estimate for fencing. They took measurements and gave me quote. I was told he would follow up but he would be on vacation for a week. Months passed and I never heard back. I had to reach out again. I was told that they were now busy and maybe he could come out that next week. Again, never got a set date from him. A few months pass and I call back in hopes to get another employee out here since I needed a different estimate and desperate for this fence to be up. This employee apologized for bad experience and set a time and date. I didn't get a call before like promised and a NO SHOW. So, I called for a new fence and got a good price, but upon reading the contract it states that ANY damage to your property that the works cause, Mission Fence is NOT responsible for. I called a questioned the contract and was told that they would not change it. Mind you it also states that damage to water sprinkles is not their responsibility either. So, that tells me that the workers are not careful and this has happened before if they damage your house, cars, or anything else you have to come out of YOUR POCKET TO pay for any repairs of THEIR WORKERS. Needless to say, I did not use them and the guy Tim hung up the phone in my face once I let him know that the contract was not up to standard. Oh, and the contract doesn't have any time of warranty on the work, not even a 3 or 6 months warranty on the work. So you are on your own. read more

Hands down the best fencing contractor our there! They are honest, reliable, and have fair pricing. I used mission fence to construct a wooden fence along my property line, involving a contentious and troublesome neighbor dispute. Despite my neighbor coming out and trying to cause trouble and stop their work, mission fence remained steadfast. They continued working and finished the job with no issues. Called and set an appointment with this company to get an estimate, and was told that they will be stopping by sometime around 10am to 11am 2 days from the call. I told them that I will need to take the day off of work to meet up and they assured me that they will be on time. Day of appointment Scott called and notified me that he was running behind and would like to reschedule for 11:30am to 12:30pm. That's fine since I had the day off and scheduled appointments with other vendors. At 2 pm, Scott still hasn't shown up. I called the office and said that Scott was coming back into the office and will be contacting me when he gets in. Of course I never received a call from Scott. I wouldn't recommend this company. If they can't keep appoints or call you back, how comfortable will you feel if they're actually working on your house. Now I'm sure they get some people asking about things they may not do, but the appropriate response would be, "Sure, what kind of job are you looking to do?" Or something along those lines. Then she puts me on hold because the window is open and she can't hear me. Finally, she says that Mission Fence AND PATIO BUILDERS aren't currently working on patios because they don't have the staff for it. I gave them two stars because when I told them they should put a notice about this somewhere on the website she said thanks. They said Friday works, and they would call me that morning to let me know what time in the afternoon they would have someone come by. Friday morning, no call. I call them at 11am and they say, "An estimator will call you shortly." Finally at 1:30 I call them again and ask when someone will be out. Their answer: "We won't have time today. All of our estimators are out in the field. How about in two weeks?" TWO WEEKS! The guy really didn't give a rat's tail that he had completely screwed up my schedule. Gee, so glad I called three days in advance, took the Friday off, made sure I was home and available, and called twice to get this taken care of!! My parents used this company back in the 80's for a block wall at one of their properties. I remember I was a teenager and how fun it was to watch them work. I needed a new block wall done, and called my 83 year old dad and asked him if he could recommend anyone, and he actually remembered the name of the company. So I looked them up, and sure enough 40 plus years later they are still in business (that says a lot). So I scheduled an estimate, they came out, and had my new block wall done on schedule. I was told I would be contacted the morning of the estimate and given a window of time to expect the representative. No one called me so I called them. I was told he would call me when he was on his way. He never called, but he did show up. Scott seemed professional and provided me with a nice brochure and some pictures of fencing that I liked. He told me he would contact me at the first of the week with the estimate. On Tuesday I called him. He said he would call me back that afternoon. Its Friday and I have yet to hear from him. They had to re paint my fence three times. I had to explain to Scott that the paint needed to be taken off completely! What really upset me was that he sent the workers out when I specifically told him that I needed to be present. Furthermore he tried to tell me that the fence was fine and that it did not need to be redone, when in fact the paint was an uneven mess and had what is known as "orange peel". When I saw that they were going to give it just a light sanding I took the sand paper and started to do it myself and that was when they called Scott to bring the proper equipment. If I could give a negative star, I would. The only reason why they fixed my fence was because I gave them a small down payment and refused to pay in full until the job was fixed. I had to argue with Scott to get the job finished correctly. The workers he sent to finish the work were very good and hard working. I found it appalling that he would expect them to complete the task with a few pieces of sand paper and that it took the three of us to argue and convince him to get the proper tools!
