    HVAC BURNED OUT

Very disappointed with Mission Restoration after the destroyed my HVAC unit by covering it with a tarp during installation of my roof. I contacted them and was told they would take care of it by Oscar Pena. After going all winter from 12/16/24-8/16 of this year I had no heat nor AC. I ended up having to take out 3 loans to pay the $7,225.00 to have a new unit installed. I am a 73 year old widow dealing with Metastatic cancer and they figured letting me keep an insurance check for $700 would suffice after promising to take care of it. Their insurance should have paid for it so now I'm in debt for the next 5 years on 3 different loans to fix what they broke. I would not trust them to repair anything now. I trusted them to fix my HVAC, beware that knock on your door to replace your roof. It could cost you thousands in out of pocket damages they caused. Not to mention the stress of no heat in the Payson winter as well as the heat from the summer heat without AC. All I got was the runaround and broken promises. Shame on them for what they put me through. Sally Latimer Payson, AZ.

The experienced plumber that fixed the leak was quick & fast and referred me to using Drystar as a restoration company. I went with it since the plumber was awesome ( but not affiliated with Drystar). Drystar came out quickly with multi fans to dry the attic & removed all the damaged insulation, drywall and baseboard of an affected wall. They sealed off the attic with tape & plastic tarp until it dried out. ( I had to re-tape the plastic barriers myself several times to keep it secure due to cold weather affecting the tape adhesive). My insurance took care of the pay out to me & Drystar... USAA won't talk direct to a restoration company unless you use their preferred vendors . ( So I was a " go between" several times to keep things moving) . The paint job & the drywall replacement was quality work and it looks good. I needed to remind the company to replace the insulation but that was taken care of immediately. I would use them again. Side note : One of the initial Drystar consultants that conducted the estimate of damage & cost that came to my home initially moved onto another company during this whole process & this caused minor delays as well but overall I was happy with the end result. I felt the cost was very fair for the work done. ( the entire process took several weeks due more to insurance procedures ) .

We learned the hard way that many companies make big promises just to win your business. In our case, we had over $500,000 in fire and water damage, and it seemed like everyone else was more concerned about their profit margins than helping us. Some even tried to play games with the insurance company by requesting payment for items that weren't warranted. ASAP Restoration was completely different. They were honest, upfront, and transparent from day one. They took the time to review every budget, selection, and step of the process with us, making sure we understood everything along the way. The entire team is outstanding, and Josh, the owner, truly leads by example. He tells it like it is, doesn't overpromise, and works tirelessly to make sure things get done the right way. His communication is second to none,I'd much rather have someone who over-communicates than leaves me wondering what's happening. Our biggest delay wasn't ASAP at all, it was our mortgage company and lender taking their time to release funds. Throughout that entire process, Josh worked alongside us every step of the way, helping us navigate the challenges and keeping the project moving whenever possible. The finished product looks incredible, and looking back, the extra few weeks it took to get on their schedule was absolutely worth the wait. If you're looking for a restoration company that values honesty, quality, communication, and truly cares about its customers, I can't recommend ASAP Restoration and Construction enough. Thank you to Josh and the entire team for making a difficult situation so much easier!

Stay away from this company!!…read more Based on my experience from a sewage backup in our townhouse, the owner takes advantage of customers and uses bullying tactics. PLEASE READ the agreement carefully before signing - it includes language pressuring you to leave positive reviews about the company. That's why it's surprising to only see great reviews online. Do not sign and question every section and word of this agreement. Despite doing no actual work, he still charged us and threatened us with his so-called "attorney" when we questioned it. He billed $300/hour in "management fees" for nothing more than a few back-and-forth emails, and remained aggressive about the charges without offering any reasonable justification. This company operates in a way that feels deliberately deceptive, and the owner's aggressive approach makes it hard to push back. I'd strongly recommend choosing a different company! I've attached a copy respective section of the agreement so others can see for themselves. You can only imagine all of the emails/communication documentation I can post.

My husband and I recently bought our first home, and while trying to complete some minor upgrades, we discovered mold. We immediately panicked, assuming the absolute worst. After reading their excellent reviews, I decided to give them a call--and I am so glad I did. Everyone who came out to our house was incredible, friendly, and deeply professional. They made an incredibly stressful situation completely painless, and they treated our home as if it were their own. One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Not only did they finish on time, but they also managed to save an entire wall and our builder shelves. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. Ruben took extensive photos, walked me through the containment zone to explain their findings, and even returned the next day to walk my husband through the exact same breakdown so we were both fully informed. The final report they provided was incredibly thorough, detailing every single step with photographic evidence. My husband can be very picky about contracted work, and even he was completely impressed and had zero critiques. We were so incredibly stressed, and the calm presence and expertise this team brought into our home was invaluable. After a separate, highly disappointing experience with a different local plumbing company just days prior, "Good Time" completely restored our faith in local businesses. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

RE: Arizona Restoration Specialists…read more We highly recommend this company. They were punctual, informative, efficient, and personable. We had a leak in the wall behind the washer and dryer. Apparently, it had been leaking for quite a while. (We found out that it was the washer drain pipe, so it only leaked when doing laundry.) We contacted Dallin at Arizona Restoration Specialist on Tuesday 1/13. Wednesday 1/14, Dallin came and inspected the damage and advised us of the process. He emailed us an estimate that afternoon. Thursday 1/15 we contacted Dallin and made arrangements for them to start work on Monday 1/19. The weekend gave us time to empty the freezer and move other items. Monday 1/19, Dallin and his crew arrived. They moved the washer, dryer, and freezer to the garage. They isolated the damaged area and removed all of the damage and mold. His crew discovered the broken washer drain pipe when removing the water damaged wall materials. They set up a dehumidifier and a blower to dry the area and clean the air. Wednesday 1/21, they checked on the progress, did more scrubbing on the wall studs, and made arrangements for an inspection. Thursday 1/22, Dallin inspected the work. The air quality inspection was completed by another company. Dallin made arrangements with a plumber to fix the broken pipe. The plumber arrived to inspect the pipe damage. They will return after the clearance from the air quality inspection. Friday 1/23, room air quality inspection passed. Dallin sent his crew to remove their equipment. The area was ready to be repaired. The plumber came over and replaced the broken pipe. Drywall work is next. All of this was accomplished in 10 days. Amazing!! The estimate was reasonable, the work done efficiently, and they left the area clean when they were done. These guys are amazing!! Louis & Sandra Parker

Throughout the process, I experienced several issues that I felt were highly unprofessional: * During the demolition, a water pipe was busted, causing additional damage. I was then told/suggested that the damage could be added to my insurance claim, which I found very concerning. * One of the workers was yelling and cussing outside of my home. Which myself and my young children could hear from inside my home. * A worker referred to me as "Mami," which I felt was inappropriate and unprofessional in a business setting. * The drying equipment was not even turned on before the workers left, which raised concerns about whether the job was being properly handled. * Most concerning, an employee took my personal phone number from my paperwork and used it to contact me from his personal cell phone without my permission. The messages were unrelated to the work being performed. I did report the phone number issue to management. While the manager apologized, I did not feel that the response adequately addressed the seriousness of what happened. Overall, my experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I expected professionalism, respect for my property and privacy, and appropriate communication throughout the process. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
