Got it hooked up and on the truck in no time. Super pleasant...and took care of us and the car (like it was his car). Don't know that I have seen that kind of professionalism along with that kind of caring and empathy! WOW - give him a raise. Knew the area, knew the truck, and did the best for the customer. It's a tough job, that much I get. Gentleman who released the car was friendly and cordial. Upon picking up the car and driving it home, the car made knocking noises that weren't there the day prior. Called MV Towing and explained the issue and they deflected responsibility. Took it to the closest auto shop, and they noticed that they hooked the car up wrong and damaged the sway bar bushings. You typically don't get to pick who tows your vehicle, but if they do, look out for damage caused by inexperienced/negligent drivers. read more

When i went outside the guy proceeds to hit on me and keep telling me "your pretty, do you have kids?" when i handed him my keys to put on his truck he made comments on what i had in my car. After i walked away, i was watching him through the glass windows at my work and saw him looking though my middle compartment and my side compartments. Yelp challenge 2016 37/116 We needed a flatbed to get our car from Lake Forrest area to Anaheim. Usually one requests a flatbed if their car is lower or for whatever reason. AAA said no problem and said they would a flatbed. Apparently Mission Viejo towing decides among themselves that we do not need a flatbed based on our car specifics. What they failed to realize is, there is a reason for everything. We needed a flatbed because of the tow hitch on the back of our car. Our car scrapes the bottom with a regular tow. Chris, in truck #15, who already made the experience so much easier with his relaxed attitude and easy going personality, went above and beyond in making a difficult situation easy to handle. He made sure I was comfortable and took every necessary step in getting me to the right repair shop; several of them actually!!! EVER!!!! use this company. first the front desk. this guy doesn't know the first thing about taking calls. i had to repeat my card at least 10 times before he got it to work. second, i was using my brothers credit card for the tow and he oked it and somehow she made my brother very mad and then she called me for more info. she dispatched a truck out to me and about an half hour had gone by and she called me to pay another $40 because there tow guy was stuck on the freeway then the driver was supposed to be at my place in 45 minutes and a hour and a half went by and i called back and she said someone will be out there in 10 minutes. well, they went and called Laguna Towing to get me towed and this whole ordeal lasted 4 hours. use Laguna Towing. they were there fast and got the job done. My car broke down 12/1 about 4:30. AAA said it would be 1.5 hours to get a tow, but the driver called 15 minutes later, and arrived 15 minutes after that. I explained what happened and he said it sounded like a broken axle. He went under the car and confirmed the left axle had broken. I was going to have the car towed to my home, but was able to have it towed to my mechanic that night. Saved me time and money. The axle was broken. My mechanic was able to get the repairs done quickly. I do not have the driver's name, but he was the best tow driver I have ever had. He was friendly, professional, and got me unstuck quickly and easily. read more

Please be aware of these company. I know we make mistakes and park in wrong areas and get towed . But these guys are shady, sneaky vultures. These guys are Predatory towers and do not comply with the law they excessively charged me nonsense $95 for "special equipment". They must think we are stupid not only that they told me if I pay cash he give me a discount, there is something wrong there. Hmmm I wonder why???? Got my truck Towed from AAA and it was with Mission Viejo towing and after I got it towed it my truck seem to only have more issues. My brake pedal was extremely loose and my lights were left on all night due to it, leaving me to buy a new battery. when I called them to tell them that their driver had damage my brakes all they said was my trucks old and it will do that, which no s*** Captain obvious. But never had this issue before, I got it towed with them when I called them to let them know, they said they call me back the next day and didn't hear from them for two days so I had to call them myself, and then eight hours later I'm told it's because my trucks old and there's nothing they can do about it. I am not sure about the reviews stating that the employees of this towing company are in any way professional. We had to deal with lauro. She is as far from professional you can get, unless you are possibly dealing with a street hooker. My friends car was towed from in front of my house. Being from the east coast, I am not sure of how or why a homeOWNERS association would ever decide that the the homeowners and or their guest's cars should be towed if parked legally on the street in front of the house THAT I OWN. But I guess welcome to California. So my friend left his car in front of my house from where it was towed by mission veijo towing. Due to extenuating circumstances, my friend did not realize that it was towed for 24 hours. mv towing wanted $420 in charges. As a lawyer I checked the code as this seemed ridiculously excessive. Accordingly I requested an itemized invoice and access notice prior to payment. Lauro refused to give this information and demanded to be paid in cash (also a violation of our rights pursuant to the code). She then flat out refused to take my credit card and therefore return my friends car. All extremely scammy imo. Because this whole scene was so sketchy my friend ended up calling the police. I ended up giving Lauro $420 in cash just to get the car back so we wouldn't have to return with a sacrificial lamb, my first born and 10 pints of blood with an additional fee a following day. The receipt she finally did give seemed hardly in compliance with the CA code. In addition Lauro had to be asked repeatedly for the access notice which she finally printed off of the CA code (with all the additional sections which she had just blatantly violated). Furthermore, she charged for three days storage despite the fact that they had towed the vehicle approximately 35 hours earlier. Again, a total scam and I am so happy that I pay HOA dues allowing these scumbags into my community. My favorite part of this transaction is when Lauro, hardly a supermodel or literary genius to say the least, advised me that I have too much Botox (none) and that i am illiterate (despite graduating from college and then law school). But I guess working in a tow yard makes her the expert. In conclusion I am so happy that i purchased a home in my lovely community. I am looking forward to revisiting this situation in court. I am hoping Lauro can provide more advise on my physical appearance and intellectual prowess. read more

Unfortunately this review isn't a good one. After being turned down by AAA (long story) Tino showed up to help me out. My vehicle had a broken ball joint which caused my front wheel to detach and fall under my car. Tino showed up, promptly lifted my car and everything seemed good until he set it down again rather roughly might I add before repositioning the lift. I immediately notice the wheel shifted so that it was now crammed in the fender and pointed it out to him. Once he "assured" me that it was like that he finished securing my car. He offered me a ride to the shop which was no more than 2 blocks thankfully but there was already a rather large passenger with him so I opted out. Anyways we arrived at the shop and it was at this point that one of the shop tech pointed out that he was towing my vehicle improperly, no rolling dolly under the rear wheels, this can damage the transmission. He put my vehicle in their shop and split in minutes. When I came back later in the day to review the repair invoice there was evidence and more damage caused to the gander and its inner lining. It now is completely out of alignment and the plastic is torn to shreds. Keep in mind my toe was less that a half mile. I contacted the agency next day to file a small complaint and that was fine but when I was contacted today the supervisor, Mike, straight spit in my face!! "It's funny what stories people will make up to get out of paying for things." With multiple witnesses on my side and photos of the whole process let's see how long this takes to get figured out but for now I can only recommend to save yourself the headache and choose a more respectful agency. read more
