The dental hygienist, Tiffani Kopa, is excellent. She is very personable and explains what she's doing. She is gentle and thorough. I've never had a hygienist like her, and I will be going back to her regularly for care of my gums. She spends plenty of time with you and you never feel rushed. She is truly outstanding and knows her stuff and seems to really enjoy helping her patients achieve good dental health. What a huge asset she is for the dental group. Let's face it, there's no such thing as a happy time at the dentist. But I have to say that these folks are genuinely caring and go over and above to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately I had to get a filling and the dentist was 70% sure it was would hold but if not I was going to need a Crown. Sure enough I am the 30%. He got me in right away for the follow up and since they couldn't see me quick enough to get a root canal he scheduled me with another office. Even knocked the price of my filling off. No it is not cheap by any means but no dentist is when you're cash pay. I highly recommend them and will be using them for years to come. On a side note, my daughter has an implant which was done many years ago. She recently chipped it and the dentist agreed to take a look at her. He ended up sanding it down a little so that her tooth did not scratch of against your tongue. He did not charge. Wow... I was so impressed that it wasn't all about making the fast buck. read more

I went there in January on a referral from Delta Dental, everything went well except when it came to discussing costs and what my Ins would cover, Bianca kept telling me my insurance would not participate on what needed to be done, I asked her several times! I was told there was a credit plan available and that my work needed would run me $1140.00. So I had the work done and after I contacted Delta dental about coverage they said no one from the office had checked or called for coverage? Delta stated that the services I needed were covered and should have only cost me $612.00 out of pocket I was furious. I called Bianca and expressed my concern, she said she would look into it, she never returned my calls, now I call and there is a new office manager, I wrote them a letter requesting a refund with no response, I called the new office manager and he assured me he would look into it, several calls later from me and he never calls back, the last time he stated he was reviewing it with the dentist Dr,Vo. several calls to them and nothing but excuses. I called on Mar 17 and was informed he went home without returning my call from earlier that day. After 2 months of no action I am pursuing legal action in small claims. As a DeltaCare patient my first visit for dental cleaning went smoothly. The next scheduled visit for cleaning after waiting 45 minutes, I was told my appointment was cancelled. It was rescheduled for four weeks later. At this appointment I was reexamined by a dentist and then was left waiting. after one hour and 20 minutes I was told I needed deep cleaning, a charge of over $500.00. I had previously refused this service. I stood up to leave. At this time another employee came into the room with her cell phone. She ordered me to leave with a threat of calling the police,starting to dial her phone. I quickly departed the building. The Missouri Flat Dental kept my $30 copay, I didn't receive my cleaning. They are more interested in upselling procedures than doing what the patient asks for!! "Deep cleaning" rather than a routine cleaning at a cost out of pocket of $500! There is a card authorization terminal stuck alongside the exam chair so you have to pay before they'll do anything! read more

This was my first procedure done here, I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed, and I was terrified!! I've had very traumatic experiences from the Dentist before causing me to not go for 5 years and was very scared. I don't think I could've gone to a better place! I have nothing bad to say about this place, they were SO friendly and welcoming and really take amazing care of there patients. I would not only recommend this place for everyone, but especially to people who've had bad experiences in the past at the dentist because they will change the whole way you think about it! Place was clean. Thats it...they are a rip off tried to over charge me $500 dollars for services that were already included. Dentist and dentist assistant did a fine job..it is the office manager a her staff you need to watch. Check your invoices for over charging. I will never go back there they lost my trust. The office is very updated. You have to input all of your information on a computer tablet. Their special cleaning, exam, and x-ray price is fine at just $59 but their internet page says "affordable" and their price for a root canal ($1,456) is much higher than all the other dentists and they have to get a specialist to come in to do it so you may have to wait for a week or two. read more

Wonderful office! I went into this office because of a tooth that was bothering me. I generally get real nervous when i go to the dentist because my teeth are far from perfect and ive always been self concious about them. After X Rays were taken by Keisha, who was super nice and comforting, it turned out my wisdom tooth had to go... not only did i not feel judged, but Dr. Bohan was amazingly quick and as soon as i felt the slightest bit of pain.... it was addressed immediately. He was so nice and down to earth! I literally drive 2 hours to go there and will happily drive it again. Beautiful office and great staff. The office manager Jules even came in to greet me! When I went to this office it was beautiful and clean, with a friendly staff. The dental assistant that worked on me, Tara, was very nice, gentle and knowledgeable about her job. So sad as I went here for over a year and had a great experience then I went in for a regular cleaning and a new dentist I have never met told me I needed a deeper cleaning on my gums. They always tell me this but me as a patient should decide if I want that or just a regular one. I told her I just wanted a regular cleaning she said and I quote "I will only do this once for you and then you need the other cleaning." I said well I just do regular cleanings and would like to stick with my current process. She said no only once so I walked out and will not be returning. I have never had a dentist tell me they will not provide me a regular six month cleaning unless I do what they recommend. read more

I first started coming here when I needed a new dentist after moving to the area. After getting my teeth cleaned and deciding to go ahead with the crown that I had been putting off for a year, I had my crown placement done here. Not only was it quick and easy (and looks great), but they were able to upgrade me to the stronger crown for a discounted price (which was greatly appreciated!!). Unfortunately, after I had the crown placed I began to have a lot of dental pain over the next month. I was in an out for the next month because my symptoms were not clear enough for them to be able to pinpoint which tooth was actually the one giving me the issue (I have had quite bit of dental work & there had been another tooth I was having issues with. It was unclear if it was that one or the one they had just placed the crown on as X-rays were not showing anything). Finally after my symptoms worsened they were able to pinpoint which tooth I needed a root canal on. I was leaving in two days for a trip to Europe for two weeks and even though they were busy they fit me in that afternoon to have it done before my trip (The Endodontist only came every two weeks so I was VERY relieved for them to fit me in as I was in a lot of pain). Everyone was so nice, patient, and empathetic throughout this entire process and I greatly appreciate all of the hard work they put into making me pain free! =) read more

Earlier this month, I've brought my three years old daughter in for a check up at their brand new location in El Dorado Hills. My first goal... I scheduled my next cleaning 6 months in advance, then the day of the cleaning, 3 hours prior, they called me and left a message saying my appointment was canceled. Tried calling back, no answer. This has by far been the worst experience I have had with a dentist to date. My first appointment was a basic cleaning and asset of x-ray's, that should have taken no longer than an hour AT MOST. While having my friend watch my 6 month old baby. she had to wait in the lobby FOR 3 HOURS! That should have been my first instinct to never return. But being the sweet forgiving person I am , I decided to TRY to schedule an appointment to have my wisdom teeth extracted but with mine and the doctor conflicting schedules I was told I would need to visit a different location. With that I was given two options, with the 17th of this month being one, and the second option being the 24th. I stated to the receptionist that I would need to discuss this with my work but felt the 24th would suffice. After confirming that she could call the other office and confirm open appointments and would get back to me, hoping it would have been that evening she returned my call. NOPE, here we are Wednesday afternoon , I have been calling the office since 8 am to only have the answering service pick up. Telling me one time the office opens at 8:45, the next time stating 9:00. After returning from my lunch at 1230 and still trying to call, I am finally told no one is in the office today. I finally was able to reach the "sister" location to find that there are NO LONGER any openings on the 24th because this office has a huge lack of communication. This has been the most unorganized and stressful experience I have ever had with a dental office. I highly recommend checking your invoices as well as my husband had some work completed and told the insurance would not cover these procedures. After speaking to the insurance I was informed not only did they bill my insurance and receive payment from them THEY TOOK OUR CASH AS WELL. Quite the experience. As others said a miss managed office is definitely what this place is, and very untrustworthy with my money! read more
