Great place within the hotel. Not a place I'd go to as an outsider because of the cost but it was a great place for service and ambiance. The food looked amazing but I didn't try anything.

Great service from Angelina! Very nice charcuterie board and cocktails were on point.

Bearing in mind that prices are due to convenience that most of their patron will not have to leave the building, I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mist. I thought the "everything" sushi was an innovative approach to that food trend and they do indeed still give complimentary edamame to elite members. Thank you for that tip, Yelp! My husband LOVED the tv. I wouldn't mind a larger menu but we certainly had enough for us!

Came here for a late dinner while staying at the hotel. I opted for the torched king crab roll and dynamite rolls. The dynamite roll was tasty but the real winner for me was the crab roll. The torched crab tasted amazing, and the pairing with spicy mayo was perfect. The service was friendly but a bit slow. Prices are high but in-line with what you'd expect for a hotel restaurant (and a sushi restaurant, at that). I'd definitely come back here during my next stay!

Stopped by and our bartender Tiffany was extremely helpful in answering all our questions. She even brought over the menu from the Boardwalk so that we could compare. We decided on a red wine.

This bar is right in the middle of the Renaissance Seaworld hotel's lobby. I stayed here for a work function and went to this bar a couple of nights to network with coworkers. It got really crowded here, mostly due to business travelers staying in the hotel. Even with the crowdedness, the bartenders were very friendly and quick with our drinks. They checked on us and were really attentive and made sure that we got everything we ordered quickly. They have happy hour from 5pm to 7pm that includes half off house wines and sangrias. They also serve sushi at this bar and during happy hour, all sashimi are BOGO free and the edamame appetizer is half off. One night, I ordered the Spanish roll and hamachi sashimi here for dinner. Both tasted pretty decent, not amazing but you can't expect much from food at a hotel bar, especially for food like sushi. One thing that I did not like about this place is that they close at 10pm, which is extremely early for a bar. However, if you walk a couple steps, there is another hotel bar that closes at 1am.

Elite status gets you a free edamame.

Who knew that hotel sushi could be so good? So good in fact, that I ate here all three nights of my stay. First night I sat at the bar with a colleague. Bartender Doug was great--friendly, prompt and efficient. Rolls were fantastic. Ordered the appetizer wings. Sizable portion. Back solo the next two nights. Riccardo was my server one night and was great! Got a free order of edamame for being a Marriott Elite member. Really enjoyed Mist Sushi!

The staff is beyond friendly and always welcoming, the food is amazing, and the drinks are just as impressive. Everything is consistently on point. Good Vibes, But a Few Misses…read more We recently visited American Social for brunch and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere was lively and fun...definitely a great spot if you're looking for upbeat brunch energy. We started with the deviled eggs, and those did not disappoint. They were flavorful, well-balanced, and probably the highlight of our meal. For entrées, my husband ordered the brunch burger. The menu didn't list bacon, and even after our server double-checked to confirm it wouldn't come with bacon, the burger still came out topped with it. While mistakes happen, it was frustrating having to wait for the order to be remade while the rest of the table was already eating. I ordered the Fruity Pebbles chicken and waffles for my daughter. It was okay, but definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken itself was coated in cereal and then topped with syrup, which made the whole dish very sweet overall -- just a bit underwhelming for us. On a positive note, the kids' portions were great. The mac and cheese and chicken tenders were both solid and generously portioned. Overall, the food was a bit underwhelming for the price point, but I'd probably give it another try...if only for the Maui Mimosa. That drink alone might bring us back.

Descend21 is conveniently located in the Hyatt Regency Orlando right next to the huge swimming pool. I got there for an early lunch and it was fairly empty. The prices are not astronomical, and I enjoyed the wings and the fried chicken sandwich. The wings were good but not amazing. They are big wings though so that was nice. They came with some fancy veggies like non-orange carrots (that's how I defined fancy carrots to my son: if it's fancy, it's not orange.) Now the fried chicken sandwich - wow. I would go back just for that. It was huge, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and thoroughly satisfying. They came with fancy fries seasoned with something like rosemary (not sure). All I know is that handheld entree was legit. Ambiance is elevated for sure. The seating for me was almost like sitting on a couch-like chair with fancy cloth pillows. Honestly I don't know how they keep those pillows clean over time at a restaurant that serves wings and fried chicken sandwiches. Check out Descend21 for a conveniently located restaurant that won't break the bank!

We initially sat at the outdoor(ish) bar which had a bunch of people there...but no bartender. After 5 minutes or so, we opted to go inside. The inside bar was bit fuller and we spotted the bartender right away. We sat down ordered drinks and viewed the menu. We started off with the pretzel which was good. It was a bit undercooked, but not a dealbreaker. And here's where things got a little interesting. There was a group there who was celebrating a wedding. They were LOUD. Not rude or inappropriate, but just loud. I'm all for having fun, but they were a bit over the top. Through some conversation with the staff, we found out the outdoor bartender came in to make sure the inside bartender was ok given those particular patrons. Solid move on his part for helping out a colleague! The food from here was scattered. My wife's salad came out and was drenched in dressing. Despite the menu saying all dressings on the side, that apparently doesn't apply to the Caesar according to the staff. My wings came much later...much much later. It wasn't a complicated order, so it was a bit surprising. That being said, they were cooked well and seasoned/sauced nicely. It seemed they had a bit of an off day here, so I want to review accordingly.
