We were at Seaworld the other week and I made a plan for us to go to Sharks Underwater Grill for our lunch. I had checked out the different food options in the park and this was the clear favorite from previous people who posted about it. So I made a reservation ahead of time for about 2pm. The thinking, which turned be true, is that it would be more the off time so less busy. I did see a comment online that said to ask for a table down by the glass. I mentioned it to the gal at the front, and she hooked us up. We had a great spot to see all the sea life swim by. We got some drinks, mine was very sweet. I like a drink thats sweet but this had a little more sugar that I'd care for. I got the sliders which came out fast. It was basically 2 slightly smaller than normal size hamburgers. They were just fine. I got the bisque as well, that was just fine. Overall the food pricey and just fine, but for a park it was good, and the ambiance was A+. Oh and service was excellent. We got a waiter that really was on top of things. I would definitely suggest doing a bite here at least one time. read more

Will start by saying, yes, it is expensive but, it's what you would expect from a sit down restaurant at any of these parks. They give you the opportunity to take a break from the heat, lines, and they have a huge aquarium inside with sharks and fishes for you to enjoy while you eat. Service can be slow, especially when busy, so recommend looking at the menu before hand and being ready to order all when your server comes. We did that and it was a breeze. Our server even thanked us for being ready, making his job way easier. The menu has something for everyone, burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, soups.... It was a great way to step away from the heavy crowds and enjoy some air conditioning and a more relaxed dining experience inside the park. The only downside was the service. It took about 25 minutes for a server to greet us after being seated and another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. I am not sure if they were short staffed or if it was just an off night, but it did impact the experience a bit. The food was very good and definitely enhanced the overall experience. I had the lamb chops with a unique Greek-style sauce that was flavorful and memorable, along with salmon that was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Tropical Turtle Hurricane, which was refreshing and well made. Overall, this is a family friendly spot with a quieter, more relaxed vibe compared to the rest of the park. Make reservations if you want to get a front row seat at the Shark Tank. Since we did, we were greeted and seated promptly. The waitress came right over. I was surprised that the menu for being inside an amusement park. They had some really upscale dishes. I had the lobster bisque and it was delicious. The food came out quickly. My child's burger was a little well done so he didn't want to eat it, but he didn't leave hungry because the waitress made him a hot fudge sundae. When booking for magical dining, gives you free parking and admission. They send a text to where to ago to check in at the ticketing booth and a team member brings you to the restaurant. You check in once again at the restaurant and got sat down right away. The restaurant is nice with the aquarium view of fishes, sharks, etc. Our server Greg was really nice and attentive! Even when my grandma was being a bit difficult, he made sure there was something she would get to eat. We ordered a rose and margarita to drink which both were good. The lobster bisque as an appetizer was very very salty. Tried to add pepper to help cut it a bit but no luck. There was good chunks of lobster in the bisque. Ordered the filet mignon as the entree and it was the highlight of the whole meal. A nice size that was cooked and seasoned ro perfection. My sister gotten the salmon that was perfectly cooked and the sauce wasn't anything heavy and paired well with the salmon. Only thing was the Asian coleslaw was lacking season and dressing. For dessert, we did the cookies with ice cream and the cheesecake. The cookies came cold and truly feel like it would of been better if they were warmed. Cheesecake seemed too much. The white chocolate covering wasn't really needed for it. We ended up taking the coating off. Raspberry in the middle of the Cheesecake cake was good though. If you want to get out of the heat and have a sit down meal while inside Seaworld, this is the only place to do so. We placed our name on the list for a table for 2 for lunch. We were texted about 15 minutes later that they were ready for us. It seems like the restaurant does not have a very good seating system because we had to wait again in the long line to tell the hostess we got the text and then we're seated inside in a waiting area for another 10 minutes before a different hostess sat us. I was very excited about where we were sat because we were on the floor area right infront of the aquarium. I loved looking at all the sharks swimming around. Our server was very nice. We ordered the coconut chicken tenders for an appetizer and they were good and had a nice tangy dipping sauce. For entrees we ordered the grilled basil-pesto chicken sandwich and the wagyu beef sliders. Both were served hot and tasty. We were both satisfied and filled up to take on the rest of the day at the park. The prices were a little steep for certain items on the menu but then again it is a theme park restaurant. read more

So we got invited to go to Sharks Underwater Grill at SeaWorld for Magical Dining. Now at the time I wasn't really sure what that all entailed but we said we were in. We arrived at the park and went up to the ticketing booth and told them what we were here for and within a few minutes someone meet us at the gate and walked up to dinner at Sharks. Once at the restaurant we were quickly seated and I will say it is very cool inside. Views of the shark ranks all throughout the restaurant. Our waitress brought us our menus and explained what Magical Dining was. It was $40 a person for an appetizer, a main, and a desert. For my appetizer I went with the Cold Water Lobster Bisque even though I was a hot day but I'm good I did. There was a good amount of Lobster which I was pleasantly surprised by. It was a little salty but that's not an issue when you have lobster overload. For my main of of course went with the Filet Mignon cooked medium rare. Starting with Lobster Bisque and a Filet for $40 is for sure a good price and we still haven't even gotten to desert. The filet was well seasoned and tender. I will say it was more on the medium side then medium rare and Ashley was for sure more medium well then medium but I get it. They aren't a steakhouse and a place like his is going to mostly likely be playing it safe. When ordering desert I was already getting pretty full but that White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake was calling my name. It was very good and a huge serving. Honestly all the deserts were huge. For sure could be splice with someone or hell split it with the family. I did my best to finish mine off but I was the only one who did. This was honestly one of the coolest magical dining experiences I've ever had! When we got to SeaWorld's Royal Park, we checked in for our reservation and waited for an attendant to take us to the restaurant. And thank goodness they did, because that walk was way farther than I expected, and we definitely would've gotten lost. They dropped us right at the front, which was super convenient. We checked in again at the restaurant, waited just a few minutes, and were seated in a really nice spot. Honestly, it doesn't even seem like there's a bad seat in the house, every table has such an amazing view of the sharks. Watching them swim around while dining was just surreal. The three-course meal was so worth it because you really get high-end choices. For appetizers, I had the lobster bisque. it had this tangy, citrusy flavor, which was unexpected but still really good. My fiancé got the chicken quesadilla, which came with two huge slices that we ended up sharing. For entrées, I went with the glazed salmon (served with rice and mixed greens), and he had the filet mignon. Both were yummy! For dessert, I had the cannoli cake, which I actually loved because it came with a little side of cannoli. The filling tasted just like those Flintstone ice cream push pops from the '90s it instantly brought me back to childhood! It was fun and different. My fiancé got the chocolate cake, and even though he loves chocolate, he said this one was too chocolatey (the ganache was a bit much). Definitely something to keep in mind if you're not a major chocolate fan. The staff was amazing and super kind and helpful when it came to making choices. The whole vibe of the restaurant was so serene. Between the lighting and the view of the sharks and fish, it really felt like we were dining on an underwater cruise. Such a beautiful experience. I actually loved it so much that I booked another reservation a few days later to take family who were visiting. That time, I tried the steak, the Caesar salad, and the cookie with ice cream for dessert. The cookie was served very cold, so I think it was supposed to pair with the ice cream as a warm/cold contrast, but honestly, it didn't take away from the overall experience. And of course, one of the best perks you get to walk around the park after! We went to see a few animals and even hopped on some rides before ending the day. All in all, totally worth it. Pro tip: they start taking names at 1030am, get your name on the list ASAP. For an appetizer we shared coconut tenders. They were so delicious. My only complaint is that there were only 3. The tenders alone were good and the sauce that came with it was good too. For my dish I had salmon and my boyfriend had filet mignon. Both of our entrees were delicious! For dessert I had cannoli cake and my boyfriend had chocolate cake. SOOO GOOD! Our cocktails were good too! Our server, Barbara was wonderful! We had a great experience here. He returned to kitchen, Mac and cheese came back again luke warm and lamb chops were better, but not really cooked well. The lobster bisque was good but could have used some chunks of lobster. The tempura shrimp is delicious and full of flavor. At $41 per entree the price point is elevated, but exactly what you would expect at a theme park. We also like the filet mignon. My son liked the macaroni and cheese. They have great mixed drinks as well. I recommend the Old Fashion and Puffins Kiss. One of the best things is that is absolutely beautiful to watch the sharks swim while dining. Stopped here during our time at Seaworld. The kids really wanted to dine here so off course we went. We decided to come during lunch so the wait wouldn't be too bad. We were sat almost immediately. Now our waiter was 10/10 truly phenomenal service, however the menu was not the greatest. Very limited options which sucked so I decided just to eat with my kiddos vs getting something I didn't want. The fries here were good and I wish they would have sold just a side of fries. My son loved his wagyu sliders and my daughter ordered hotdog with fries off of the kids menu that also came with a Sunday. This is an interesting one for Magical Dining. Having wanted to try out the new Penguin coaster, I heard the Magical Dining here lets you into the park for free after you dine at this restaurant. Plus parking is included. Let me start off my saying, service at Sea World is a little rough. The parking attendant literally abandoned the booth right when it was our turn. The instructions on how to get escorted into the restaurant were unclear also. After asking around, we were told to go to the ticket booth, which was the correct thing to do so take note for anyone planning to do Magical Dining. Someone will escort you from there. I was skeptical about the food, but the lobster bisque, filet, and chocolate cake were delicious. Our server, Barbara, was one of the best I had anywhere in awhile. I was pleasantly surprised based on the reviews and the parking situation, along with how difficult it was to get escorted in at the start. I was excepting it to be actually underwater but it was more like an aquarium on the side. It was still an amazing view, but I was expecting more like an aquarium type experience. Moving on to food, it was quite good, but expensive. Coconut chicken tenders were wonderful surprise. We wanted to give it a try and ended up loving it. My husband got some grilled salmon with rice and as visible from picture it was amazing. Perfectly charred and the sauce went really well with the rice. I got some Mahi Mahi with salad that I thought was decent. The chocolate cake was too sweet for our preference and we could not finish it. The prices are about 20% higher than what you'd find in the wild but it doesn't feel unfair considering the food is actually quite good and the ambience is one of a kind with a shark aquarium spanning the full back wall. The interior vibe and food presentation feels like a fine dining establishment and is a great place to take a break from walking around the park on a hot day. I got the pan seared scallops and this dish would stand up well even outside the park. Scallop is not an easy protein to cook and mine were perfectly soft without being at all overdone. 4 scallops on a bed of mushroom risotto and spinach made for a hearty meal and didn't feel like a rip off for the price. IS IT SHARK WEEK YET - I happened to be in town for Magical Dining so my sister booked for us to check out Sharks Underwater Grill's magical dining menu inside Sea World. I thought it was a fantastic experience - you can enter the park without buying a ticket! We waited near the entrance and they checked off our names that we signed up with before they led us to the restaurant. We eat right by the shark tank which was a very cool view. After the meal, you can enter the park until it closes, so while we weren't riding any roller coasters on a full stomach, we did take a look the penguin exhibit. So I saved the food for last because it was just ok. Don't expect high gourmet dining because you're paying 95% for the view and experience. I started with a cocktail because when in Rome... or Sea World... I ordered the Whalecome Back (we love a punny cocktail) which was right up my alley with the gin, St. Germaine and sparkling wine. The prix fixe menu was limited for magical dining, so I chose the lobster bisque, the salmon filet & the Cabernet chocolate cake for dessert - the magical dining deal was $37 for the three items, which came out to be $16 off the regular price overall. The lobster bisque was fine, but the salmon filet was a little dry. The chocolate cake was just ok but that Key Lime dessert and Brownie Sundae looked soooo good! The food was really good but the options were very limited and the prices for the portion size was more than I expected. The waitress was friendly and they moved quickly. I love Sea World because I get in free as a teacher. O am not really a theme park person, but Sharks Underwater Grill keeps me coming back! This bar is located near the shark exhibit. What makes this restaurant stand apart from others I have ever been to is that the entire back wall is the shark tank! You get to see all types of shark species casually swimming while you enjoy your dinner. I really like the bar, not only because they serve fantastic drinks but because of the layout. The bar itself is a fish tank! You get to sip your drink while staring down at beautiful, live corals. There are colorful fish swimming through. I have never seen anything like this before. I could spend hours here!!! There is also a nice little side area with a fish tank in the middle and comfy booths. We came here with our baby to cool off and enjoy a drink while she took a nap. We sat at a small table and just relaxed. It is like an oasis away from the hectic hustle and bustle of the park. If you plan on eating here, I would recommend checking the menu first and then making reservations. Well, we made reservations a week before our visit. Upon arrival reservation could not be found. Eventually it was and about 30min later we were seated. Ambiance was really nice, service was exceptional, food selection and quality was poor at best. This place could definitely be a hit but the menu was extremely lax with no true star or item that even sounded appealing. Entrees are typical for a tourist trap, they ranged from $27-$45. If I were to do it again I'd leave the park and find a better choice. My two boys loved looking at the sharks but didn't even like the simple pasta with tomato sauce. With such an unappealing list of entrees I went with a bland chicken Caesar salad that was extremely overcooked and tasted look squeeze bottled dressing. My wife had the shrimp tempura and it was ok, but she did say she would not get again. I do not like writing bad reviews but people need to know what they paying for! Overall, I'd return to see the tank but that is it, as others have stated ingredients taste like from bottles or cans and you're paying top dollar for it! read more

* Magical Dining Review * Getting into Seaworld for magical dining may be one the best deal/hack there is to find in Orlando! I have been trying for a couple years now and was finally able to snag a ticket--only one though, so I couldn't bring any friends. But I readied myself for a solo dining and park-ing adventure because I wasn't gonna miss out! I booked the 3:15 time slot on a day the park closed at 9pm. Not the ideal time for dinner but it did allow me to maximize my park entry. There was a slight delay because of a misunderstanding at the parking entrance because the attendant was convinced that parking wasn't covered for magical dining even though it says it was on the MD ticket. Shoutout to Josh at the entrance who confirmed it was covered and directed me to guest services to get a refund (although it ended up taking over 30 min wait in the line later in the day, the refund itself was done very quickly!) At the park entrance you check in for the restaurant with a designated concierge at the end of the row of turnstiles. They assign walkers every 15 minutes to escort you through the park to the restaurant because it is a bit of a walk--I had a nice conversation with mine, who had just moved to the area and started the job a few weeks before. I was led to a table one row up from the tank with a fantastic view. Throughout my meal there were moments of sensory overload because I didn't know where to look next, but overall the ambience was very zen. I could see that during busy meal times it could get very loud and interfere with the zen vibe. I ended up choosing the lobster bisque, filet mignon, and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. The lobster bisque was good if not a little watery. I was actually very impressed with the filet mignon as it was a perfect medium rare and well-seasoned. The veggie on the side was not as well-seasoned but I could overlook that for how good the steak was. The dessert was also really good although I thought the white chocolate shell was overly sweet so ate around it to get just the cake itself. I was initially worried I would be too full to go to the coasters but it was actually not overstuffed and managed to get on plenty of rides in my remaining 4ish hours. A few animal shows, a lot of walking, and a firework show later I left, still a happy and full visitor. 10/10 experience. read more
