It's casino food. And honestly, this was the first decent fare I've had at a Spokane Tribe establishment. My Turkey Club was pretty epic, size-wise, and the Tomato Basil side was actually quite good. Wifey was less satisfied with her French Onion, but it was more the portion than the flavor. All in all, a necessary meal to soak up the early evening's libations. Our visit deteriorated from that point on, but I sure can't fault the kitchen staff for a testy bar manager's attitude. I think its weird to have so many servers and not have a traditional service where they come to you and take orders. Servers would stand to make more tip by actually waiting tables...but here you go to the counter and order at the register and they bring it to you instead. The overall feeling of this establishment is a snack bar not a diner restaurant that has prime rib on the menu. Getting your own drinks seems like a waste of money with the cups. Anyway, the food was okay. I think its too much bacon for a clam chowder lol like where was the clam just call it bacon chowder lol. Patty Melt was decent but I think the grilled onions need to be grilled more its like they barely touched the grill. My biggest gripe for me is the ranch.. thats the worst ranch Ive ever tasted. Please just buy hidden valley ranch seasoning then add mayo sourcream milk etc and dont mess with the flavoring too much your ranch was too sour (lemon?) or way expired lol... People seem to like to hang out way after they are done eating mostly an older crowd. Service was polite. read more

Had a nice dinner last night. Tasted great and staff were exceptional! The old fashion I had was amazing!

We were excited to get together with friends for breakfast. The staff and servers were great unfortunately the food was not. The biscuits were so hard that even with gravy on them there was no way you could cut them. My eggs were cold and hash browns were beyond crisp. The corned beef hash was home made and was the best thing two of the six of us ordered. Drinks were easily available and the coffee was very good. The Bloody Mary was almost a meal in itself and to be honest was the best part of the breakfast. Sorry to see the quality of the food take such a downward turn. We won't be back for breakfast and not sure about any other meal. read more

Five star for clean restrooms and beverage bar only and oh the ice cream selection counter is very good.. I don't consider the Lounge a lounge. Not relaxing. Menu entree selection not enticing. I've only played slots 1-2x's after the Covid shutdown. My last comment was after the changes were made to be somewhat the same as the casino in Spokane. It would have been nice to have a new experience but most machines were replaced with small or nothing payouts. We have not yet been to the Spokane location. I would rather go to Northern Quest. The other dining area is now a now a Caesars Sportsbook type. It's usually empty there. Good for guys to hang out but it's never crowded, perhaps so when there's actually a game on the screens. I think there should be happy hour with complimentary bar food and snacks prior to any big sports event like MLB Division playoffs and World Series, NFL playoffs and Super Bowl, NBA basketball, boxing, MMA. Casino and Caesars are out to make money so bring in what people want! My main disappointment was our late lunch yesterday arriving before 3:30. Looking around while hubby was placing his bets in the Sports Area. Only two other diners and a lady having a beverage while reading a book. Our order of two Smoked Prime Rib dip on a hoagie arrived timely. Since moving here from CA in 2010 I haven't had a decent French Dip SW in Stevens Co. I was tired doing stuff in the house and forgotten to eat. It was our anniversary and we usually go into Spokane but my husband had an early a.m. shift the next day. There's not much of dining choices in Chewelah. He suggested casino because it had a better atmosphere. I laughed and I wanted to go somewhere else. Told him the casino food sucks with the exception of the the Vegetarian Omelette for breakfast.Well in trying to eat my SPR dip slices were burnt, tough and hard to chew as I then remembered why I didn't like it the first time a while back ago. I tried to give the other half to my husband which he didn't want so brought the leftover pieces of meat home for our doggie daughter. I ate only what was tender. Au jus didn't help. My dinner was dipping pieces of the hoagie in the overly salty Au jus. Fries were disgustingly overly cooked. Barely touch them. I really like jojos and miss it!!! Still makes me wonder why tartar sauce are one of the choices for french fries ! It's for SEAFOOD!!! I told my husband I was D O N E and wanted to leave and don't want to come back.. I should've made shredded chicken sandwiches from leftover grilled chicken, then a charcuterie platter, cocktails followed by a home cooked dinner. Best place to eat is at home but I wanted a break. Hmmm I wonder if they have buffets. Hope not, it's annoying seeing ppl tossing and turning and breathing all over the food selections. Gross! Hopefully the Hotel that's supposed to open soon will have a decent edible restaurant and a decent cocktail lounge. read more

Worst service ever. They forget to make your food and they make you sit there for ages until they actually bring the food (IF they ever bring it!!!!!). We sat there for 45 minutes waiting on the food only to find out they didn't even put the order in. I was pissed. The food was bad. My three year old cousin could cook you better food than this place! I just moved to chewelah and didn't expect much But I still expected at least a free meal for them forgetting to put our order in! Unless you're a 70-90 year old, do not waste your time on this shit hole. read more

I came into the establishment to eat and gamble. I wanted a beer and forgot my id. I told the bar tender that I had an id on my phone/I had taken a picture, and asked if that would be good. She told me in order to gamble "no" but to sit and eat and drink a beer I could. So we sat down, and upon finding my id, I brought the picture up to the counter, and the mgr was called. He said sure, if he can print it out, and gave me his email. So I ordered my food, and sat down to drink my beer. Then three or four people of their staff came and accused me of trying to sneak the beer, made me feel like I was a criminal, and would not leave the table. I explained that the bar tender told me we could, and I didn't hide anything, I went up to the bar and gave the mgr my id via picture and he requested me to email it, and said as long as he can print it out, that would be fine. They would not listen to me, or leave the table area, so I finally got up and left. Mind you they waited to do all this and approach me, after I had spent money on four dinners. So we left, and upon calling, they would not even refund our money for food, and told the staff I complained to that they had told me from the get go that my ID was expired and that I was not allowed to have a beer. I told the lady "really, then can you tell me why he asked me to email him?" She was like "what is the email" I told her. These several staff member lied, treated me like a criminal. Their "MOTO" we treat you right, is just crazy. I am 50 year old woman.. I am a respectable business owner, and many of my family are police offers.. The last thing I would do is break the rules, and shame on them for treating a great customer this way. I will NEVER step foot in this place, nor will any of my family.. I am giving them 4 stars for the Sunday buffet breakfast. The prime rib was better than any steak I have ever eaten. It was a huge portion and tender as butter. We were all blown away by the quality of the prime rib! I could not fit seconds as the first slice was larger than most portions from Daniels broiler or other steak houses. July 23. $9.00 and hot food wiped out, no hashbrowns, no blintzes,no chicken, or scrambled eggs, boxed mashed, rubbery bacon, pieces of mystery meat, crumbs of salmon, and this was at 1:10pm!. runs until 3. then NO plates... really people, staff wiping down the salad bar and there is hardly anything remaining, most of the dressings are gone, but we have to wipe down the counter!. Ordered an omelet, and got this at 1:50, why bother, it's been 45 minutes!!. Dessert bar is pieces of cake with warm, runny ??frosting?? They finally brought out more food but it was close to 2pm and announced, no more salmon or prime rib today!!. Omelet chef has to run around two rooms carrying a cooked omelet trying to find the person who ordered it, please, can't someone be a runner and let him cook? If you want a clean table, clean it yourself. They also ran out of forks, want a fork, clean one in the restroom!!! or wait 5 minutes for one. This was a horrible experience. AND it's not the first time. Were told when the wages went up the casino reduced all of the staff. Will, casino, with this type of lousy food, I'll reduce my presence, there are other places in town then this dingy smoke filled dowdy environment to order a nice HOT meal. It used to be an amazing buffet, great food, well stocked trays, happy staff, but in the past 3 months, all has changed it has become a major disappointment. Hope management can repair this in a timely fashion, stop being so greedy, you make millions on all the donations from the slots!!!... add back the staff, brighten the environment, stop with your greed. read more
