Mister Bagel in Westbrook is my favorite Mister Bagel location of all time. They have an expansive menu. Omelettes, home fries, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, other breakfast items - you name it. The food is consistently good every time. I have been coming here for years. The food is just as good ordering in person or through Door Dash. The staff here is amazing. The guys have remembered me and my order for years. So many regular customers. There is free street parking. You can use the subway lot next door while they are closed. If you order to dine in, they will bring you table service. It's a great vibe inside. Plenty of seating if you're staying or waiting for takeout. When I was growing up and visiting my grandparents we would always come here every time, I would practically beg to come! The staff is super friendly! The restaurant is clean and a little bland decor wise but it's fine. But the food is the highlight here! The bagels are so frikin delicious and so fresh always! Of all the Mr. Bagels in the area this is by far my favorite. I have 2 others hat I could choose from all a bit closer but alway come to this one . The biggest reason I come here is the staff everyone is so happy and cheerful even really early in the morning. This place has a really nice seating area and great coffee. The sesame bagels have loads of sesame seeds. The same is true for the everything bagels no scrimping here. It's is clean and bright they actually fill the cream cheese to go containers not leaving big air pockets. They even wrap the smelly garlic bagel my dad likes in tinfoil so it doesn't make everything else smell like garlic. The bagel sandwiches are wonderful will keep coming back . read more

Still love this Mr Bagel location and stop in frequently for breakfast on the weekends and/or a takeout lunch during the week. Last week, the lunch special was chicken quesadillas for 6.95. Super packed and generous, stuffed with chicken, cheese and peppers. There was enough to save some for another meal! Yum! They renovated the seating area awhile ago, and i'm not sure that I like it better than the old seating area, but it's still a fine place to plant if you're eating in! read more

This Mister Bagel has it all, friendly service, a variety of food options, a clean space to enjoy a visit with a friend, they are family friendly and quite spectacular. I love that you can grab a quick coffee and bagel and run or you can omelette and some home fries for more of a diner vibe. I have honestly never had a bad experience at this restaurant that I have frequented many times. When my daughter had a fun run last year I spoke with the owner and agreed to provide bagels and cream cheese without question. Great spot for fast, early morning service. They have a variety of options, including tofu cream cheese and regular. I think the service has changed from a few years ago, when I was charged like 12 dollars for a breakfast sandwich when I subbed out sausage for a slice of turkey. That's was insane and it made me avoid this spot for years. But a good friend loves it here for their enormous omelets, so I started coming back for bagels and the occasional iced coffee. It was a good choice. The service is faster, friendlier, and the lunch options are solid. Overall a great alternative to the areas nearby fast food spots. read more

This is the best Mister Bagel I've been to in the entire state and I've been to a lot. I am obsessed with Mister Bagel and the Westbrook one is the reason why. First, they're the only one I've been to that actually will fry your egg for a breakfast sandwich and it never takes long! All of the others just microwave it. You can get them runny if you choose to. They're only $4 which is great. They also have flavored Red Bull (my favorite flavors are strawberry pomegranate and blueberry pomegranate). The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I never wait long for to-go orders and the iced coffee is always readily available. The atmosphere in here is great and a super local spot, but welcoming to newbies. They have gluten-free bagels and muffins as well. Their regular muffins are amazing and you can ask for them grilled! With only a shot amount of time to eat, I went to lunch here last week with a couple of colleagues. We arrived with no customers ahead of us and placed our orders. One of my friends ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich, with the other picking up a salad. I ordered a breakfast berritto loaded with veggies and ham. It was delicious, however I was expecting it to be a bit larger than it was. The service was excellent and it was a nice spot to chat while we all enjoyed our lunch. Ordered a steak and cheese breakfast burrito. It was TINY. Made wrong. Forgot my sides with it. My food is never cooked all the way rather it's a sandwich, burrito, home fries, literally anything you name it. Even my chocolate croissant seemed stale at 7:30 am?? When I am starting my work day an realizing I am dragging a bit, I can pop over here for a bagel / breakfast wrap / sandwich and a cup of coffee. In the summer I greatly appreciate the iced coffee. Oh, Mr. Bagel has soy sausage! Everyone here is very friendly & I get exactly what I am asking for. They also have dairy free cream cheese! I very rarely get this however, because I am a not a huge fan of the bagels. Though, I should add that is pretty rare that I am a fan of most bagels. I am just too fussy on bagel eating to feel my bagel judgment here would be fair. I hear from co-workers that the muffins are really great. Some days they have the most awesome looking cupcakes. They are a quick and easy breakfast joint for anyone in the Westbrook area that will always greet you warmly. read more

I am a huge fan of Mister Bagel in general. Their bagels are as close as it gets in Maine to what you might get at a New York deli, and they have a ton of great cream cheese flavors. I'm pretty picky about bagels, and I constantly rave about these. This Mister Bagel in particular is by far the best one I've been to. I come here often for mostly coffee and a muffin or a yogurt/fruit cup. They have great muffins and you can get then grilled with butter..the coffee cake muffin and the pumpkin muffin are amazing!! But they only have the pumpkin flavor in the fall and winter months. read more
