I recently visited the 5950 W. Fairview Ave. Boise ID facility. An Unbelievable, incredible experience. Kaitlin and Dawn were incredible hosts, they came by a couple times to see if all was well. I have never experienced this service and attention in my over 40 year's of carwash experience. I only wished you were represented in Portland Or, my home town. My current carwash K..... Has one vacumn attachement, you had 3. At your wash I wouldn't allow small children or small dogs around while I vacumn, they'd get sucked up (an exagerration). At K.... I need to use my shop vac to finish ceaning my car. Your drying system needed very little towel work, at K.... I basically have to towel dry my entire car. Mister Car Wash is a great automatic car wash with great self-service vacuums. If you go through the wash once and it doesn't get all the dirt and bugs off- they'll usually offer for you to go through the wash again! This happened to me once while I was vacuuming that an employee noticed a spot that the machine missed. I got the Express platinum for $18- a little on the pricier side for a self service car wash in my opinion but it was a good wash! They also offer a monthly pass that gets you unlimited car washes - I see a lot of folks with that unlimited wash sticker on their car. I could see that coming in handy if you wash you car every week or so! I do wish they had other cleaning supplies such as dash wipes or microfiber cloths to get the interior as clean as the exterior. read more

The Mister Car Wash on 13th and Front is broken, and employees aren't telling drivers about it before they pay. Half the brushes don't work, so the right side and back of the vehicle don't get washed. I watched the car behind me, and their car didn't get washed either. I asked for my money back, and when I told them that they needed to disclose the malfunction before payment was exchanged, they gave excuses of, they were supposed to be closed from Fri-Mon for repairs, but corporate in Tuscon, AZ told them to be open today, even though most of your car won't get washed properly. I called them out on all the cars that came after me where they didn't say anything about it being broken, and they shrugged and basically told me to mind my own business because no one else had complained. read more

There are several locations through Boise/Meridian...they all have different good things I like. Meridian - busy location, good wash, vacuums, and compressed air Broadway - used to be my fav until they stopped hand drying the car, good full service detail if that's what you're after, the vacuums are very spotty & not good quality Downtown - good wash, best vacuums Fairview - good wash, busy location, vacuums are spotty here too I've used my membership in other states while on road trips too which is great. I am traveling from Washington to Yellowstone. Stoped overnight in Boise and took my car few hours ago to get rid of all the bugs on windshield and the front of the car. I purchased their premium package of $18 value and added $2 tip. Went to hotel and parked and the sides of the car where clean and the windshield was clean and didn't think anything of it. When I got back to the car in the afternoon, I noticed that the bugs below the grill and my license plate are not cleaned. I drove back just now and even the same boy that helped me was there but he flat said I can run you through because you didn't noticed it right after the wash. Well that is too bad because I go through Boise all the time and will never use them for car wash again. Poor wash and poor customer service will equal to lost of business. I would try other car washes both this firm again. read more

I have been a few times. (Guess I decided to give them another chance after a couple negative experiences) The back of my vehicle always looks like it was never touched. Along with spots of dirt along the sides. They will usually let you go through again if you are dissatisfied but when the 2nd wash doesn't get it either then it just feels like a bigger waste of time and money. The employees are nice but the car wash doesn't get the job done. read more

What a trashy car wash highly don't recommend. Soap doesn't start to come out until 1/3 of the vehicle so brushes are just going over your paint without any whatever or soap in the front. Just don't waste your time. Don't waste your money on any of the more expensive washes. If you do get a wash from here just get the $10 one. No difference in the more expensive ones read more

First car wash that missed the whole back of my 4runner -- twice. To their credit, they let me go through the second time. After that, I gave up because I did not have enough time to try again. The free vacuums are great and the part the car wash does clean on your vehicle comes out looking nice. I called and left a message asking a partial refund, but no one returned my car. read more

First time at Mister car wash. It's similar to the Quick Quack car wash we have in California, but run much more efficiently! We pulled up to the car wash which had four lanes: 2 for members, and 2 for the uninitiated (us). The menus were easily laid out and by the time we got to the front gate we knew which wash we wanted and the lovely gate assistant directed us on the payment process (self-pay) and waved us through. I was very impressed by the intake system overall and operation of the non-member/member gates. They let us through in order of arrival and were simple, yet effective. Members were processed quicker than non-members and this is the way it should be. Well done Mister!! Minutes later we were clean and after a quick stop at the vacuums we were off. This review relates to customer service. In July, I took my brand new car through Mister Car Wash. The car was filthy, with off-road dust & grim. When I got to the dryer blowers, all of a sudden the right rearview mirror cap flew off. I reported this and the staff quickly retrieved the part...but it was scratched! To say that I was distraught is an understatement. But Site Manager, Alex Knapp quickly documented the problem with an incident report and photos. Mister ordered a new part. Between Alex and assistant manager Chris, the new part was installed to my satisfaction. I'm happy to report EXCELLENT customer service in this event. read more

I took my new truck into get washed. There were no scratches on it at all. I heard during the wash the brush on the passenger side at the end of the wash sounded a little rough. I just got out and found my truck was scratched in more places than one. I will never be back to this wash and will not recommend this wash to anyone in the future read more

This place is easily the fastest car wash in town. They have several lanes that feed into the car wash (a gate lets you through when it's your turn), and they can stack a couple of cars in the wash at the same time (ie: you don't have to wait for the person in front of you to be completely through the wash--they have the spacing paced perfectly so there is rarely any waiting). I do prefer touchless, which this is not, but I have an occasional need for speed (due to limited time) and when that's the case--I come here every time. Self-serve vacuums are part of the deal, which is another bonus as several places in town charge for vacuums. Oh, and as you enter, don't forget to grab a few dash wipes (another little bonus). I find that it doesn't always get my car quite as clean as I'd like--but as Michele R. mentions, they do guarantee their washes so if you aren't satisfied, you can go through a second time. Their prices are reasonable--with the basic wash being just $7. This is my go-to car wash for a quick wash and vacuum at a convenient location (right downtown yo!). Get to it! read more

What used to terrify me as a child has become one of my favorite adult chores. Nothing like turning on some Norah Jones, putting your car in neutral and cruising through a car wash. Okay, so maybe I'm a bit more enthusiastic about the car wash than the average person. But what can I say? In my book car washes make me feel as pampered as getting mani/pedi! Ballin' on a budget, so whenever I get a car wash, I go with their $7 option - it does the job! Plus, if you notice there are still spots on your car they will send you through a second time for free! (Usually one time through works really well, I think I've only gone back through a second time once.) However, my favorite part of Mister and the main thing that motivates me to come here is the vacuum station they have outside the car wash. They've got probably 20 different parking spots with giant shop-vacs on both sides and trash cans - perfect opportunity to clear out that drivers side door (you know what I'm talking about - the land of gum wrappers, straw wrappers, crumbled up paper and old receipts). I had no idea it would be so challenging to keep a car clean in Boise and surrounds! Our short term rental home did not have garaging, so the Subarus were left to the elements for a couple of months. Drive up, tap a card, in you go, car comes out the other end with a minty clean and fresh exterior! Unlimited wash card gets you, well, unlimited monthly 'Platinum' car washes for $29.99/mo. What's not to like? The only reason it's 4* instead of 5* is, I have to do my own vacuuming - but if someone else does it it's a $40.00 car wash so there ya go. Front Street location ruined the passenger side mirror on my daughters car. She was told that a manager would contact her later in the day. My daughter never received a call. I have personally left several messages in an attempt to have this issue resolved. I have yet to receive a call. Its been over a week. I would not use them at all. After a couple months of *really* needing to get my car washed, I finally had a day off where I had time to take it in. I was originally looking for a touch-free option as I've had issues with brushes doing damage to my car in the past, but a quick search wasn't revealing any great operations nearby. I've driven by this particular location of Mister Car Wash about 50 times, so figured might as well give it a shot. First of all, the kids working the pay station and directing you into the tunnel were super friendly which certainly speaks to the quality of the service. Grumpy workers are no fun. And $7 for a quick exterior wash is probably fair, especially since the high powered vacuums available for use afterwards are a highly desirable feature. That said, the automated car washes all seem to miss several spots on my car, notably the driver and passenger front window corners hear the side mirrors and a large section of my back windshield underneath the spoiler. This location is no exception to that rule. I always end up having to clean those areas with a rag afterwards. Not the end of the world, but it's worth noting. Overall a fair value for what you get. Unfortunately, I did end up with a few scratches and the rubber piece that runs under my roof rack was all bunched up, both of which always seem to occur at these automated car washes and it definitely not unique to Mister Car Wash. My preference is hand wash or touch-free, but when desperate times call for desperate measures, this is a solid choice. read more

This car wash has broken down on two occasions while getting car washed. Soap gets left on car and the brushes don't seem to clean well. The transport system is jerky. The last time I went, and the reason I canceled my membership, I was harassed by young kids trying to get me to subscribe to a membership for my wife's car. They didn't like the word "no" and were rude. When I thought I was done the kiosk prompted for a tip for this behavior. I rejected the request for the tip and got even more crappy looks. The whole purpose of having a terminal at the gate is so I can swipe my card and get a car wash. Mister is in full membership mode and they don't like it when you turn them down. Too many choices in Boise to deal with this garbage. Fix your old worn out car wash and quit with the harassment. read more

Some people think it's silly to spend $20-30 a month on a car wash, but I have three teens, an 8 year old, a dog, and a white car-- need I say more? My car never gets FULLY clean. Perhaps hard to reach spots? Overall, it does a pretty good job. I like that I can pull in anytime (during business hours) and vacuum out my car and throw away anything that I may need to. Mister Car Wash has several locations to chose from. This one is downtown and is convenient anytime you're heading home from the downtown area. There is also one on Fairview near Curtis, Meridian on Pine and Eagle, Broadway, and in Nampa. There may be more that I am not aware of, but I frequent these locations. The car was still dirty in the front and back. Spoke to attendant they said they shut off some valves that wash front and back of car do to freezing. I payed 18 dollars and my car is still not clean. They refused to let me go through wash again. Horrible customer servic. Tried calling offices no one would answer. I called corporate number the same issue no one answer. read more

What can I say about this wonderful place! The customer service is amazing here! They always have a smile on their faces and they always greet you! Even when things seem like they aren't going well you cannot tell by the look on these guys and gals faces. Thank you for being attentive to our needs! The wash is always great! Except for the system shutting down every once in a while, this place runs smoothly and it's always clean! I recommend paying for the monthly subscription due to living in Idaho. I live that the vacuums are free! That's one of the reasons I wouldn't always vacuum my car in Emmett, there were no free vacuums. Thank you for having great machines that always work! I went through here for the first time, about two weeks ago. At the Entrance, the attendant talked me into a higher-priced wash job, because my van had quite a bit of mud on it (from a ride down a muddy, unpaved road). Okay, fine. I went through the thing, and it destroyed one of my windshield wiper arms --- not just the easy-to-replace wiper blade, but the ENTIRE factory-installed wiper arm. There were no attendants at the Exit end. Customers are left to finish-off the wash job on their own (as opposed to having a team to wipe-off the water and touch-up any missed spots). There was still mud on the van, but I was more concerned about attempting to resurrect the wiper arm, which I did not accomplish. It cost me $78 to replace it. At the time, I was in no mood to argue with anyone about it all; I simply left, disgusted and pissed-off. These people have competitors, who are prepared to do a better job at the same or lesser price; beware! Never again! read more
