Ok so months and months ago I went to Metro and typed out a very long review....I just deleted that one and starting this one lol. Just didn't feel like that last one was...right. I mean, what I said about this place and the staff was what I wanted to say, but yeah, something was off with the review. I know as I write if I'm gonna love what I've written or if I'll write one and then put in drafts. I'm weird, I know lol. Few weeks ago, the roommate and I went back here for an oil change. Sooo now I can write a review, a more updated one even if I say things very similar to my first review that I just deleted lol. Jake and Tyler run this place and they're fn amazing. Jake, as long as we have been going to him as always gone above and beyond to make you happy. The guy is amazing. Tyler, if I remember correctly, came along later (when they worked at Einstein's) and happy he did come along and happy he is now at Metro after Vavoline bought Einstein's...which was a shame because Vavoline sucks...that's for another review that I'll never do because I'll never go there lol. Metro is literally 30 mins from my house. So that aspect...well, it sucks lol. Have an old truck and during the summer it doesn't do too well with the heat. We still drive over to Metro regardless tho because we know we will get amazing service from an incredible staff of guys who know what they are doing and who actually really enjoy what they are doing. You go, you'll see what I'm talking about. The drive to Metro is totally worth it, it would be cool tho if they open a shop in Boise tho (wink, wink lol. I'd use the emoji instead of the creepy "wink" word, but Yelp doesn't allow emojis lol) One saying I've always heard in commercials and whatnot and have always thought "what a line of bullshit" hahaha is "we treat you like family" Metro, I don't think uses that cringe line, but they actually do treat you like family or like y'all have been friends for years. Yeah we have known Jake for awhile, but I have seen him interact with others and he is just as incredible and friendly with them as he is with us, as is the rest of the staff. Jake keeps us coming back tho. Great guy, service is always on point and prices here are perfect. They don't overcharge you or try to guilt you into buying something you DON'T need like so many of these places do. So even though they may not be 3 mins from my house like they used to be, the drive to Meridian to get the help/service from them is worth it. Jake and Tyler are the best. So happy Jake was able to get his own shop, he deserves it. I won't make this too long, so I guess ima end it there. I'm afraid if I go any longer, Yelp will cut me off. They always have a subtle way of telling me to "stfu already" hahahaha because my reviews tend to be a tad longer than most...I mean, why write a short one? Write exactly what needs to be said with maybe a small story of sorts thrown in there haha! Ok said I was ending aaaaaaand....I am! Thanks for reading Yelpederees! Car wash itself is good but beware. I ran my car through the wash and it tore off my front license plate. I let the attendant know and he said he couldn't stop the wash for 15 to 20 minutes to look. I let him know it was illegal for me to drive without a front license plate in Idaho. I waited 20 minutes and they still kept the wash going. I then parked my vehicle in front of the entrance so they had to stop the wash. This got the employees very excited. I told the person I was talking to that I had been waiting 25 minutes by this point and he kept saying I had to move my vehicle because he had customers. I told him I needed my plate and asked him if he thought his time was more important than mine. No real response. I agreed to move my truck and he said he would look for my plate. 15 minutes later I had to leave to pick up my child with no license plate. The worst part they knowingly put other customers vehicles in harms way by continuing to operate the car wash knowing there was a loose metal object in the wash. They also had employees looking for the plate while the wash was in operation. Not safe. So beware of getting a wash you might end up with my license plate damaging your car. read more

First time in this afternoon for an oil change & these guys were beyond nice & knowledgeable. From the "host" salesperson, to the gentleman checking my tire pressure, everyone i talked to was really nice & informative. You can stay in your car during your service, but they even invited me into the waiting room to watch the football game. Of course as a business they advise of other relavant services offered but are very respectful when saying no thanks. I did need new windshields wipers & they noticed/reminded me of that when washing my front windshield, so that worked out. I also have had an underlying issue with my front differential & the tech underground noticed the fluid was low. That's under warranty so i passed on any work there, but again I was really impressed he quickly noticed and let me know. Good stuff guys i'll be back soon! read more

tried metro express lube today and was very pleased with the service. very friendly and efficient. forgot the coupon for the oil change and they provided me with one at the lube. used to use einstiens until they changed ownership and after the change was not pleased with the service and tired of all the upsales. tried metro after reading reviews and i would highly recommend them for your oil change read more

Visited their shop for service and was blown away by how personable everyone is as well as how clean they maintain things and are so quick to offer advice but not push sales on you for no reason. They enjoy what they do and it shows in the quality of their work. Steer clear of those other big name shops (Valvoline, for example) who just do not care and do not have that local pride of ownership mentality. This place is wonderful! read more

We come in a lot and have the internal car package which is awesome they have soda and popcorn inside and do a great job
