Great quality of car wash, but hate the experience of someone squeezing in between me and the kiosk and giving themselves tips. My recent drive-through, the gentleman came out and pitched me on the monthly; I completely get a business perspective here. What I did not appreciate was him taking my card and quickly pushing through the options to obscure the fact that he gave himself a maximum tip on my behalf. I can only imagine how many times it has been done to other people - it's a shady practice. Sad, because the car wash itself is great. read more

Mister car wash has horrible customer service at lake michigan in standale. I will be canceling my membership. I have called corporate number an spoke with 3 different people.nothing done. No return call. Between my husband an myself we pay close to 70.00 a month for terrible service. I own a jeep. When I go through they use to spray off the back. Not anymore. Because of the tire/camera on the back none of the brushes touch back. Use to come out clean when the would spray it off. Today i asked to speak with manager. Ask if they could spray back off. They were terrible! Paid $36 car wash and interior. After they said it was done a lot of stuff on the outside of car asked to get off. I literally could use my finger to remove. One person was helpful in getting some of it off the idiot who not sure if a manager or what, but came over and said it is over $200 for detailing. I don't want detailing I want you to wipe off stuff on my car that can easily be wiped off. It is that simple. He didn't even want to wipe the water off the back of the car. This location is the worst!!! Car is never clean, tire shine is never working. Here is a piece of business advice. Instead of paying 4 dildos that are just standing around waving to you 5 times, jaw jacking together, put them in the tunnel to spray off vehicles, tires and rims. You would have a lot happier customers. Canceling both mine and my husband's memberships to go somewhere else. We've been members for years. Not anymore. Over the crappy car wash. These washes are convenient. However, they don't do the best job of washing the car and the east beltline location even on the busiest days only has one lane open with three access points for entrance. I'd recommend going somewhere else. read more

While going through the Mister Car Wash on Old 28th Street, my passenger mirror was pulled off my 2020 Chevy Silverado and swept into their bay. Filed a damage claim and Ethan, a local manager, called me to inform me that my user's manual indicates that the power mirror should be tucked. Asked for cited page number in the manual and checked. No such instruction. Damage claim was then elevated to a Regional Manager and received feedback that a previous video indicates tape on my mirror. The previous damage was cited in denial of the claim as they deemed the repair inadequate. One denial after another with a new reason each time. In the end, I entered the car wash with a working mirror and left without one. Cancelled my membership as they don't stand behind their service. Buyer beware. read more

Multiple billing issues. I've been billed for other peoples cars. I've had my multiple car discounts stop, and received billing at full price. I've pulled up to the car wash to have my own vehicles fall off my plan. In each instance it was 20+ minutes on the phone with a customer service representative. The technology used for billing and account management coupled with poor customer service representatives fall short of expectations. I would recommend using another company. read more

Went through your carwash on the East Beltline in Celebration Cinema last evening. Why must your employees pack us on top of one another to go through the car wash. We were so close to the car in front of us that if they had a trailer hitch we would have been connected! Same with the car behind us! Ridiculous! We've already paid so what is the point of doing this? This happens at your other washes also. I will insist there is at least a car length in front and in back of my vehicle when I am driving. The General Manager named Jeramiah at the Mister Car Wash on 28th went ABOVE and BEYOND; this morning on Halloween 8:00AM 10/31/20, I had a couple light red and black marks that I woke up too and he told me right away what to do. He helped scrub it out, sprayed it with the power washer, and recommended a product to use if it were to ever happen again. About 3 months ago my car got damaged at the car wash. I went to a body shop and got an estimate. Mister car wash agreed to pay for the damage. Mister car wash scheduled a rental car for me to use when my car was being repaired. When I took my car in for repair there was no loaner car. Mister car wash failed to schedule me a loaner car. But Mister car wash did finally get me a rental car the last day of my 5 day repair. read more

I have never left a review for a car wash before, but I'm so impressed with this wash that I had to tell someone about it. The drive through automated system was easy and went seamlessly. They pack the cars in too tightly and have no one at the end on the car wash to stop the conveyor belt if there is a back up of cars trying to pull out on to 28th street, which is exactly what happened. I've been going here since 1978. I pulled up today and about fell over seeing what the prices were for a full service car wash! $35 are you kidding me. There are other packages, but you have to pay $2 extra for each row of mats? When did a car wash become so expensive? Unfortunately, just the $7 wash didn't even cover my entire car. With it being Mother's Day, I decided to treat myself to a interior and exterior car wash. My girls were begging me to ride through, so we did and they loved that. However, upon returning home, after paying for vacuuming and interior cleaning...I was extremely disappointed. I think maybe they vacuumed for a minute before they called it a quits. Didn't bother picking up booster seats and didn't vacuum in between the creases. I am a pretty clean person but my girls occasionally leave trash behind. I could have vacuumed better blindfolded. As soon as I got home I decided to re do their lack luster job. Am I crazy to expect they attempt to clean cup holders? Or actually vacuum? The car's interior didn't even smell like it had been cleaned. Not the best job unfortunately. read more

This location used to be Auto Spa where the washes were good and I felt safe going thru it. But ever since they renovated after they were bought by Mister its been a scary experience going thru the wash. I have given them feedback several times that the brushes are too rough on my car as if it will peel off the paint. And some things are bumping my car while going thru that rocks the vehicle. I have 3 cars and was a subscriber when it was Auto Spa and never had these issues. It was never this way before Mister "upgraded" their equipment. Weeks ago the lens of one side marker light of my car broke off. And yesterday the other one got ripped out most likely due to the roughness of the rotating brushes. Until they correct what is causing the problems I will not be going there. read more

Quality of service at the Mister Car Wash on 28th Street, Grand Rapids has declined since Mister Car Wash purchased the car wash previously known as Southland Jr. Quality was always good under the previous owner. Now, the back of the vehicles are completely missed, they are still dirty and streaked, I have to wipe down our vehicles after each wash. Today, at least 4 of their vacuums were not working, I was told by one of their employees they would not be fixed until Spring. This is unacceptable, I am paying for a quality wash and that is no longer happening. Very disappointed, if this is not corrected soon I will be canceling both of our monthly passes and will be taking our business to another car wash. read more

Went this evening, the employee for the full service left the car behind me in drive, rammed me in rear pushing me forward, so I start hitting horn and brakes, they stop line employee comes I roll down window to see wtf is going on soap running in truck, car ahead me drives off , he says go forward, so I think he wants me to drive out, then say ok stop, I roll my window back down to see why, then they fire line back up, spray water all over me and inside truck, then at end they act like nothing happens, so I ask they say yes u got hit pull over here, I then see car Behind just leave, I see Mark's on front as they pulling out, I don't believe they told owner of that car read more
