The black sesame latte I cannot stop thinking about. It was delicious. I have also had the Mediterranean Bowl many times and it never disappoints. So colorful, so crunchy, so satisfying. Lastly- I have tried at least four of their smoothies and each one was supper yummy and definitely memorable- the tahini was one I think about a lot. Got back to visit my hometown and this place I've been meaning to check out. A healthy alternative to alot of easy and fast options but this place lived up to the bill. I just stopped in for a meeting and only got a smoothie but the decor was amazing. Very clean and I loved all the natural light coming in. I think it's cool to have an open concept kitchen and see the work they do! The only thing to consider would be it gets a little loud for meetings with the blenders going, but still a great hang for studying and lounging in my opinion. Our cashier was super friendly and helpful with menu options; she painted a good picture of ingredients and what the taste might be. I went with the golden smoothie and boy was it amazing! This place seems to cater to a very discerning crowd. I was stuck in line behind multiple groups of people who wanted to talk about things like could they get dishes with only organic ingredients or how to avoid gluten, but thankfully the people working there managed to work in my order while the others were still deliberating. They were an energetic bunch; this was the first time in my numerous restaurant experiences that someone asked for my name for the order and then came back with "Johnny Boy". When I did order, there was some sticker shock; whatever you can say about the sort of food it was, that was a lot of money for a bowl and a beverage. What came out lived up to expectations, however, with my bowl having a kale base but a delightful mix of Mexican flavors. I never lost interest in it, and it was a nice clean meal to space out my other culinary indulgences. The place is all vegan, and the menu seems to vary by day, but I'm guessing that vaguely Mediterranean and American salad bowls are always on the menu. My matcha latte was sweeter than most, but given the contents of my bowl it actually produced a nice balance of flavors. For someone who does have the sort of dietary needs to want to come to this place, I doubt you'll drive by many better options on the way. read more

So me and my two best girlfriends drove all the way from Cincinnati, Ohio to experience this restaurant. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl my other friend ordered the Mexican bowl and my other friend ordered everything bagel with a blueberry crumble smoothi. Well let me just start with the everything bagel it had everything on it, but was far from tasting like anything. The blueberry crumble smoothie had not smear of sweet in it like hello people blueberry bland nothing like where did you get these blueberries do they actually make unsweetened and unflavored blueberries? Next the Mediterranean bowl literally is gorgeous. It looks like everything. It also taste like nothing not an herb not a spice not a little bit of salt on any of these bowls, and then the lastly the Mexican bowl also epic fail, hard pass Also for the amount of food and what we paid for this is disturbing on so many levels. I paid $20.00 my friends paid $55.00 for her two meals and a smoothie plus a $10. Tip..... It's sad $10 would've been disrespectful enough but at $20 it's a slap in the face so disappointing and disturbing any single sauce even salt and pepper could've helped something. I am so happy Monroe finally has a plant based spot to grab a healthy breakfast & lunch! From the teas & coffee to the lattes & smoothies, you will find something for your palate. I was super happy with the Mediterranean salad. It has a variety of flavors and textures that were tasty AND satisfying! Soba noodles, garbanzo beans, cucumber, beets, hummus, kale.... I'm sure I'm forgetting some goodness. It was so good, it make me energetic and ready to work after lunch! I got an apple crumble smoothie for my not-so-vegan boyfriend. My son grabbed lunch from here. He choose the Peanut Butter crunch wrap, the cinnamon roll French toast, a mixed berry and Apple crunch smoothie. The smoothies were great, both tasted good. Seldom do I leave five stars, even if I like a place. They have to go above and beyond to earn five stars from me. Misty's did just that. Beyond the pleasant surprise that such a place now exists in little old Monroe, the experience here was fantastic. Upon entering, you are greeted by very friendly staff. Any questions about the menu were gladly answered by the owner or staff. Though not immediately apparent, it is important to know that in addition to being a vegan restaurant, almost all items are or can be gluten-free as well. I also believe that everything except the peanut butter crunch menu item is also peanut free. If you have food allergies or specific dietary requirements, this is a great place to go. Everything we had was made in the house and was absolutely delicious. They also offer fresh pressed juices and fresh lemonades that are fantastic. I found this vegan cafe on Yelp. I was not disappointed. I went with "The Everything" and freshly squeezed lemonade. I left satisfied and would recommend Misty's hands down. The everything was suggested by the waitress and is an everything bagel toasted with Kale filling, hummus spread on one bagel side and guacamole spread on the other. My husband ( meat eater) and I ( veg head) have grabbed a lunch or dinner here when we are down in Monroe. We have loved all the food - Mex bowl, Everything Bagel sandwich, Chick BBQ sandwich! Smoothies are fabulous and filling - we have tried the Banana Pie Smoothie and my husbands favorite is the Apple Crunch Smoothie. Wow what a fun spot. The Everything Bagel and the BBQ chick were both great. large portions and came with the side of watermelon. The smoothies are huge! very delicious. the green smoothie has banana in it and is really great. The brain fuel is a creative coffee drink that is frothed and has vanilla and cinnamon with almond milk. The only thing stopping us from giving 5 stars was the price, for these 5 items we paid over $60 before tip. understandable it's a vegan restaurant and good size portions, just wish it was more affordable! read more

My daughter and I went so she can try the Everything Bagel which was 10/10 great food for sure, however she also wanted to try the Fresh Baked Granola Bowl so I asked the owner if we could also order that she said absolutely, the bad thing is she then had some customers/ friends come in and completely forgot about my daughter and I sitting there for another 30 min without being acknowledged no granola bowl we finally decided to go and then were acknowledged and asked if we still wanted our bowl after sitting waiting 30 min with no communication or acknowledgement no ma'am we do not.
