steak salad with oven fresh bread, grilled onions, bell peppers and provolone cheese

Best subs ever and the nicest people. Great taste, lots of meat and tender. This place is well worth the trip, you will not be disappointed. Grandma is still working.

Menu

Still our favorite place for subs and ice cream, only one block off boardwalk so convenient to grab and eat on boards. They also have tables inside and out for dining

Actually quite nice, and a pleasant change of pace from the heavier things I had been eating on this business trip to OC. It is not fancy inside or out, a simple counter for ordering and a few tables inside, and in a small porch type setting. The highlight was the woman taking the orders and cashing out. She has an electric smile and radiates care and sweetness that you don't often get anymore in customer service. She is the best asset of this establishmnet, I hope they realize that and take care of her accordingly. She is of the generation that finds dignity and takes care in anything they do. The service is pretty quick, although I got a simple turkey sandwich and a salad, but I have been to places where even that order takes longer than you would expect- not so at Tommy's. I would definetly come here again if in the area. I would be interested to try some of their other offerings.

I had my wedding at the Dunes Manor and all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen were starving the night before so we randomly got cheesesteaks from here since it was so close. HOLY CRAP!! We were blown away by how delicious these cheesesteaks were!! ALL of us ended up going back the very next night for more. I'm so happy I live in Berlin so I can go back whenever I want. Do yourself a favor and eat here. It's a blink and you'll miss it place but make it a point to find it. There's a reason they've been in business since 1978!

Stopped here upon touching down in Ocean City before hitting the sand. This was my first time here so I can't speak to anything other than it's just a sandwich stand with some outdoor and indoor seating. I wanted something light so I went with a BLT - which is pretty out of character for me. But I went with it anyway. Probably should have gotten a side or maybe tried a shake - but BLT with guns blazing. This was good - would have liked more bacon on it - but the LT was fresh and the Mayo was properly topped. Toast was done perfectly. Good overall flavor. Would try this again. And would recommend.

This is half of the sandwich but in general I paid $13 for this and the first half was 3 bites. Very small servings

Very small servings. Not feeding a grown man. Sandwich was $13. This is half but barely any meat and only one tomato the entire sandwich.

food is great and the prices were even better. they have a huge menu from what you'd expect when you step inside. i visit here multiple times a summer. it's just a couple blocks from the beach. good quick and go lunch!

Two stars is for the friendly service and clean establishment. Most of the food served here seems to be frozen. Cheesesteaks are straight up steakums, yuck. Fries are your standard sub shop fries. My chicken Parmesan sub was just chicken tenders on a sub with pizza sauce and sprinkled Parmesan cheese. The bun was nicely toasted though.

Perfect cooked

Great sandwiches. Fries cooked crispy upon request. Restaurant clean . Service was good . No public restrooms? Kinda bummed. The roll really held up the cheese steak

Great (large) soft cone twist of vanilla and chocolate ice cream!

Best cheesesteak in OC. Been coming here since the place opened in 1978. Also serve up a great soft serve ice cream cone with sprinkles.

Equal parts package store and legendary deli counter, Anthony's is an iconic OCMD staple that has perfected the art of beach lunches. History & Ownership Year Opened: The original property traces back to right after WWII as a drive-up stand and fried chicken carryout. The family bought the business in 1965, gradually expanding to add wine in 1970 and merging the store concept in 1982. The Full Deli Debut: In 1987, Anthony's officially expanded into a full-scale deli, which quickly became as famous as its liquor selection. Ownership: Operated as a beloved family-owned business for over 55 years. Awards & Local Acclaim Anthony's frequently earns local accolades--including Best Subs and Best Carryout honors--thanks to its commitment to quality. Rather than skimping on fillings, they load their sandwiches with premium Boar's Head and Citterio meats, freshly sliced cheeses, and house-made salads. The Sandwiches & Fan Favorites Anthony's sandwiches are renowned for their staggering portions. The 12-inch hoagies are packed with over a half-pound of meat and cheese on freshly baked rolls. The Shrimper: A massive sub loaded with house-made Maryland-style shrimp salad, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The Nautilus: A gourmet Italian sub layered with mortadella (with pistachio), prosciutto, sopressata, and provolone. House-Cooked Roast Beef: Tender, rare roast beef sliced thin--a staple that locals swear by. The Flagship: The Crown Jewel If you only order one sub on your trip, make it The Flagship. The Flagship Sub Over 1/2 lb of Genoa salami, capicola ham, pepper ham, and sharp provolone cheese. Shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, and spicy hot peppers. Dressed with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano on a 12" freshly baked hoagie roll. It's the quintessential Italian cold-cut sub--salty, tangy, slightly spicy, and sturdy enough to hold up in your beach cooler all afternoon. Pro Tip for Beachgoers When heading to the beach or driving back home, ask the deli staff to assemble your sandwich "semi-deconstructed" (with oil, vinegar, and tomatoes on the side). Your roll won't get soggy, making it taste just as fresh hours later.

We had lots of questions about most of the items as we have never had any Turkish foods before. VERY HELPFUL! Explained everything with great detail and was more than happy to do so. We decided on the Turkish bagel (Simit) and the Ginger Lime Cane beverage along with two different kinds of baklava! One walnut and one pistachio. The drink was very refreshing as the only ingredients were lime, ginger root, and pure sugar cane! All pressed in a special machine. It was sweet but that's pure sugar cane for you! The simit was toasted up and tasted like sesame seed goodness! The baklava was delicious and sticky gooeyness. I enjoyed the walnut more than the traditional pistachio. Though it too was yummy! So many other Turkish goodies to try! She also had other Turkish desserts including the mini cakes and pastries. We will be back as this place has earned a spot on my GO TO list for Ocean City.

While not positioned as organic, the food reflects authentic Italian execution. The pizza stands out: a light, well-fermented airy crust, balanced and refined sauce, and thoughtfully curated toppings. The menu offers elevated, gourmet combinations without being overworked. Desserts are made in-house and well executed. The flourless cake, in particular, is rich without being heavy. The Greek salad and Margherita pizza is our go to, but we have had their cheesesteak subs, lasagna, and their various assortments of desserts. Ripieno's special-brew chai iced tea is something else that has always kept us coming back. That is until today. While the pizza and salad were still very good, they weren't as outstanding as they have been in the past. Customer service is not the same as it once was. When we ordered the chai tea, this evening, no orange and lemon slices were offered. As we were dining outside, I walked in to ask if they had orange and lemon slices for the iced-tea available. The cashier first seemed as though he didn't see me, and then when i caught his attention and asked about the slices of orange and lemon for the tea, he looked at me as if he didn't not know what I was talking about. I looked at the girl behind the counter that walked over with the salad dressing that had not been delivered with our salads and asked her about the fruit. She looked confused as well and said they didn't have any. The iced-tea on its own is very good, but the slices of orange and lemon really make it great! Back to the food...when our pizza was brought to the table, the gentleman that delivered it, (I think he may have been attending the wood-fire oven) threw our paper plates on the table. Next came the Greek salads. We were short two sets of silverware which was noticed by the second server. She said she would return with silverware, but didn't. So, I went back inside and asked for the two sets of silverware we needed. I was asked if I wanted plastic. I responded that I would prefer metal silverware. The girl disappeared and returned several minutes later with the silverware. I realize it is the busy season, but the restaurant was not busy. We've been during the busy season and in the off season and have always had wonderful experiences. I am truly hoping that this was a one-time thing, and that Ripieno's will return to the same familiar place we used to love to go.
