I drive a semi new Lexus hybrid, and on the 210 freeway I was struck by a piece of metal debris, crushing my passenger side front headlight with lots of paint damage around the light. Obviously, very upset because it was not of my own doing. Totally random. I took it into Mitch's. At first he told me the light apparatus all comes in one piece and that they are very expensive. He advised me to go with an off brand through Amazon or eBay. Anyway, I was able to get the generic apparatus piece. He gave me a an excellent quote to put in the headlight and make it look as best as possible, but there will still be paint damage surrounding it. I brought it in this morning. Luis took care of me. He had it done and looking like new and took care of the paint and clearcoat and I was able to get my car by lunchtime. Looks brand new. They've also done other work for me before . Based on my husband's recommendation, I tried Mitch's auto after my car accident. Even though Mitch was busy, he made himself available to call me back and was quick to communicate with me any setbacks with the insurance, so that I could quickly resolve it. My car looks like new. He had a big scratch on the back door buffed out for me and placed my belongings neatly in a box for me in my truck, since my car had been towed as is after the crash. My car malfunctioned on the way home to Pasadena from work in Ontario. It had been acting funky for a while and I kept meaning to take it in. I got forced to after it totally freaked out on the 210 freeway on Thursday. Friday morning I called Mitch's auto to ask if they had any time for it and the receptionist said they did. I 'think' it was a cracked or broken alternator. At any rate, they fixed it same day and it cost a little under what is suggested online! I wish the receptionist had been a little more specific on the phone. I told her there was a major problem and she thought I needed an oil change or a tune up. Because they were recommended and "already in there", I would've liked a phone call to approve additional work. Come on guys! Hit a bump, something came loose bottom of my car. Arrived at Mitch with a explanation of what was wrong . his mechanic said it was a small job and was able to fix it with in 10 mins. ask mitch how much it would cost he told me "nada" sweet!!! however, he said that i needed new shocks.project that would cost around 700. Now as someone who doesn't know much about car's a wise man once told me "always get a second opinion" especially when it comes to big projects. Took it "just tires" at Arcadia. Lately, Mitch's has dropped considerably on my reliability meter. My car has been there twice now in the last couple of months. The first time it was overheating, and they fixed it, and I was happy. It started overheating again a couple of weeks ago, but since Mitch was on vacation, I had to wait a week, driving rental cars in the meantime (that's a whole 'nother story!). I finally was able to drop it off there Tuesday night. I was told my radiator was leaking (1st time it was the water pump). A couple hundred bucks, and I got it back last night. Cut to this morning: I barely made it to work, stopping 4 times to pour water into that radiator. I went through 1 gallon of water, then finished off my reserve of Arrowhead liters I had in the trunk, for the gym, 6 bottles total. That car is leaking fluid faster than I can put it in! Don't they test this shit?! I'm taking it back there tonight, hopefully without needing to call AAA for a tow. I'll give Mitch's 1 last chance to get it right. I know my car is problematic, but this is ridiculous for the money I'm spending for repairs. I really like Mitch and his associates, but I'm running out of patience. read more

I called this place to see if they can jump start my car. I don't have any AAA or road side assistance. My car was having battery problems, an it would die from time to time. Thankfully, over the phone I talked to Mitch. He was very understnading and agreed to meet me. I gave him the location and said he would be there in a few. No joke, in less than 5 min he was there with jumper cables and his mechanic guy. They jump started my car and it was working right away. Mitch later introduced himself, and I was very relieved. So a long time coming but here is my review for Mitch's Auto. My wife and I started coming here to get our trucks serviced around 2015. We were going to another place in Pasadena but after so many very frustrating trips to the mechanic, I decided I needed to find another one(and a good one this time). We asked around and were given this suggestion by a long time friend. She said that he would be fair and at a great price, he won't try to trick you into getting stuff you don't need and will help you prioritize the work needed to be done. Well let me say they did not disappoint. My wife and I have been going here to get everything from our Oil changed to brake service to you name it. So this is most definitely our go to spot. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially to people who have had bad experiences with bad mechanics. Came here on the recommendation of a close trusted friend after my local Auto Repair shop quoted me an exorbitant amount for a water pump replacement. He and his family have been coming here for quite a while. The receptionist was very friendly over the phone and quoted me a couple hundred less. They were extremely accommodating with my schedule- they went ahead and took my car right before close and I picked it up the next afternoon. Very simple, very straightforward, and a great job.
