I reached out to Mitra to alter a bridesmaid dress for July. She was quick to respond and fit me in same day to start the alterations. I expressed what I needed done and she actually made additionally suggestions to really have the dress fit me perfectly. At first she said to call in a month for pick up, but the dress was actually ready the next week. It fits great and pricing was affordable. The place is disorganized and she told me to call to see if my items were ready to be picked up. Called 4 days after she told me to call was told it wasn't done. Called a week later still wasn't done. I needed the items to still go to the cleaners for a special event. I told her when I would pick up the items and was told no call me 4 days from now. I finally said I am coming tomorrow. She proceeded to call me that night to say they have been ready for weeks. DONT USE THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT THINGS DONE ON TIME. Very disappointed read more

I do not recommend this shop at all the lady there did not listen to me. When I said I want my pants a little longer. She kept on saying I pinned them up. I pinned them up then she's accusing me of not wanting to pay which I never said anything about, she's threatening to call the cops on me. This is the worst Taylor around. I do not recommend them. I recently had a dress altered for a wedding. The neckline was a bit open for me and she was able to come up with a creative solution to fix it. She took flowers from the material that she cut off when hemming and added them to the neckline to close it up a little bit. It looks fabulous! I went to Barrington Illinois to participate in my friend's wedding. Just a day before the wedding when I wore my wedding dress, I realized that my dress needs alteration. I got nerves because of limited time. I found this tailor shop. The owner was so nice. When she find out that I do not have much time,she promised me to give my dress back, with the next day.
