My experience with Miu Miu at Costa Mesa has been extremely disappointing. The most concerning aspect was the way my case was handled by the store manager, Kelly. Throughout the warranty process for my sunglasses, I received inconsistent information, poor communication, and unnecessary delays in resolving the issue. Rather than providing the level of customer care one would expect from a luxury brand, I was repeatedly given unclear answers and eventually faced accusations that I was responsible for delays, despite the history of our communications showing otherwise. As a customer, I expected professionalism, transparency, and a straightforward resolution. Instead, the experience was marked by a lack of accountability and ineffective case management. This experience has not reflected the standards and reputation associated with Miu Miu. I hope the company reviews how customer issues are handled at this location so that future customers do not have to go through a similar experience. Unfortunately, due to the poor management and communication I encountered, I cannot recommend this store. read more

I do not recommend this business. . Returning an item is extremely difficult, and the employees, including the manager, are consistently unprofessional and unhelpful. They make the process nearly impossible, give you a hard time, and they insist the exact same card used for the original purchase, even if the card has been replaced,or gift recipient is returning it. which makes the process unnecessarily stressful. The young Asian male associate working here was an absolute delight, and we loved his honesty. Despite leaving the store after browsing with my mom and not purchasing anything, he made us feel very comfortable and educated us with all the new arrivals and what is about to come for the next season. This review is specifically for their boba event for the new collection. SCP posted a picture and saying that the boba is free without purchase (now deleted text) and I went to check it out since it's so cool! When we got there, the staff said only with purchase...I said oh that strange bc the SCP said no purchase is necessary. Anyway, there must be some miscommunication between them and SCP. We went in to check out their collection. No one was helping us or asking if we needed help and a couple girls must be their regulars were just chit chatting with the sa and sipping the boba even they didn't buy anything. Cool concept but disappointing event. The PR of miu miu should be responsible for it. If the brand decided to throw a big party, they should have estimated numbers of people and making sure people would get something as long as they have supplies. If they are being stingy, don't throw a party like this. read more

I'm obsessed with Miu Miu shoes! I love glitter, crystals, and shoes. Miu Miu has it all! I was in search of a particular sneaker. I called the store to see if they had the shoe I wanted and in my size. The lady who answered the phone was so friendly and very helpful. She found the shoes, and she was able to put them on hold for me. I made the drive to South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. When I arrived, I told the lady I called and put shoes on hold. She found them, and I tried them on. They fit perfectly, and they were gorgeous in person! I bought them and was very happy with the customer service and my shoes. I love and indulge in luxury, but I hate the service of luxury store employees. Every single employee I've encountered within this mall is pompous and belittling--except for Miu Miu employees. I came in on a Friday evening looking to buy things from stores excluding Miu Miu. Ironically, I ended up only purchasing from Miu Miu. The employees, Molly and a man whose name I did not catch, working that day were very open and they were not selectively giving good service. The pair answered my incessant questioning and frantic decision-making with dignity and patience, not ignoring me at all (the way Gucci employees do bc I look young and unable lol). TLDR; I honestly chose to purchase from Miu Miu because of how good the service was (apart from my lust for the item I was looking at). read more

Beautiful store, beautiful goods. The only problem is that I kept mildly electric shocking myself on things I didn't think shock you, like Miu Miu clutches. So my 6 years old granddaughter walks in to Miu MIu at South coast Plaza and very innocently asks one of the Asian ladies that works there " is that purse on sale" she looks at my granddaughter almost offended and very snooty she responded while walking away from her "No" Why are this stores being so rude? Is our money not good enough since we are not Asian? I'm not prejudice and I am Hispanic, I have never experienced discrimination except for some of this stores at South Coast Plaza. First time walking into this store to see a purse I've been looking at online. Was thinking to get it in store if i like how it look in person. Omg this place have the worse customer service. On Saturday 12/18 around 2pm. When I walk in security by the door doesn't greet you at all. The asian lady working there doesn't even say hi. Not even one word from her. But I still went ahead and look around. I saw the purse I wanted and actually liked it in person. She kept staring at me from a distant. Still, she doesn't say a word. Starting to feel awkward, but I still browse around. Thinking should I just get it or order online. Then when I walked out no one say a good. Wow! Miu Miu is Prada's younger sister. It's more hip, colorful, girly and edgy. While mostly still retaining the same quality and prestige. I caught a cold a few days ago and had a really stressful Friday but I still drove through three counties to make sure those rose gold heels were mine. Since I fell ill, I looked more horrible than usual so I wasn't treated as well. For the most part they are nice and helpful. Since the store is fully carpeted, they will let you walk outside to try the shoes on a concrete surface. Tidbit: Final sales on sale items. No returns ever, exchange only. Make nice with the sales associates and they will inform you on sales and deals. read more

Where do I start from? This store takes the cake when it comes to customer service. I purchased a Miu Miu bag a couple of months ago. The jewel flap kept snapping out. It was quite frustrating. I took it to this store. Truly exceptional customer service by Ramon. From the time I walked into the store I had a very positive experience with Ramon. He greeted me with a smile and addressed the issue right away. He made sure that he contacted the New York store and got back to me promptly to tell me that they were going to take care of the issue. From the moment I walked in, to the time I went back out to think with a clear head and to the time I went back in to purchase my bag, the South Coast Plaza Miu Miu team really took care of me, making me feel like a VIP. They understood how "serious" a purchase this was, what a statement about myself I was making. They "got" me. Not as in "a long con", but an entire team who was in synch with me and the vision and attitude I wanted to have. It's easy to get carried away in a place like this and overthink the purchase, but they brought me back down to reality and really helped me make a great choice for my 2012 "self". I just put on a scarlet letter S for STUPID therefore I am telling you ladies don't ever shop at this store Miu Miu. Its general manager Claudia Bustamante does not have a customer service qualifications. I went to Miu Miu and bought a pair of shoes for $660 being promised by a sale rep that is the new arrival of 2015. The so call " new arrival 2015" went on sale for $360, I asked the general manager for price adjustment she said "no" and told me that the shoes on sale was from last year. I then wanting to buy a blue handbag that was supposed to be 40% presale from $1950 to $1143. But the actual price tag in the bag was $1590 because they forgot to retag the new price. I spoke to the manager Claudia Bustamante why is there such a big price discrepancy of lying and cheating the customers. She said "every store does that!". Look at my post pictures and figure them out for yourself. You ladies need to be SMART shoppers. Don't spend your hard earn money and have the manager like Claudia Bustamante and her sale reps laugh at you behind your back for your shopping STUPIDITY. read more

My old Prada wallet was stolen when I was in Spain which was a bummer. So I needed a new wallet. I had been eyeing the black Matelasse wallet for a while so I went to the store and knew exactly what I wanted.... but there was a sale going on with 50% off a teal wallet. I knew I would be more happy with the classic black wallet so I chose that one. The male sales associate was helpful and nice. Of course the packaging is perfect and I am happy with my purchase. Miu Miu is one of my favorite stores in scp. They always have a great selection of items, especially in bags and shoes. The store itself is laid out very well also which I appreciate, it's quite roomy and everything is very organized. I've only had great experiences with those working in sales here. They are always friendly and helpful in my experience. Sean in particular is very good. I had been interested in a specific bag for so long and he always called to let me know when one was in stock or let me know when sales were on. Happy to say I finally got my favorite bag as a Christmas gift!! Thanks for the help and patience Sean!! Definitely stop in if you're at scp and enjoy somewhat whimsical Italian fashion...I think one of the better words to describe their designs, especially the clothing. The sales people here were super friendly and helpful on my last visit! I have a black bow satchel from here that I love so I wanted to check out other colors that they had available. I have a tendency to buy the same bag in different colors. I was indecisive so the sales girl brought out every single color they had and was patient as I tried them all out. She also showed me all the different ways to change the strap so it would work on my frame, which is necessary because I'm vertically challenged so most straps fit too long on me. She brought out water for my girlfriend because she was getting bored with watching me try everything on multiple times. In the end, I still couldn't make up my mind so I didn't end up getting the bag on that visit. I would recommend coming here though if you're interested in Miu Miu. The sales people here are friendly and unpretentious. Check out their merchandise and see what catches your eye. The quality is fantastic and the styles are oh so chic. read more

One of the few boutiques with any knowledgable staff inside their four walls. We loved the service - it helped us part with our money easier. The quality of the fashion is just as high as any of the other boutiques nearby, but might save you a few dollars in the wallet as well, although if you think Target means high dollar, you will have to be gurneyed out of this place if you actually buy something.
