Giovannis's or lovingly known as Gio's is easily one of my favorites in the city. They don't get nearly enough hype as they deserve. This large space has about 20 first come first serve tables and a large standard bar. The drinks are great and reasonably priced. About 9 bucks for a surfside! The food is where things get exciting. They have a HUGE menu with a variety of food. Their Italian is where the magic happens. Their slices are never a miss and come out in just a few minutes. Ranging from your standard chicken bacon ranch to the best vodka marg slice you'll ever have. Definitely grab an order of garlic knots, while they aren't anything to phone home about, they are crazy cheap and a great side. Their entrees are even better. The penne vodka is my favorite followed up by their cheesesteak wrap. Let's not forget about their massive Caesar salad with a chicken cutlet. Gio's is always a staple at a great price point and awesome staff. See you soon Gio's!

My coworkers and I are OBSESSED with this place. Pizza is sooo perfect, garlic knots are so oily and garlic, the tuna salad hoagie is perfectttttt, and the salads are good too. We order ahead online, but you have to order slices at the window.

Perfect spot to end a late night when you're craving some food. The food comes out hot and quick, and so delicious. Only downside is that certain items, like the pizza are available only until they run out. So whatever is on display at the end of the night is all they have. I was really hoping to try the Buffalo chicken pizza, but they were all out. I don't think this is necessarily any different from any other really good pizza place, but the marinara sauce was addicting.

Was shopping at Liberty Mills and pooped in... one of the better slices I've had in Philadelphia and cheap. I would definitely come back to watch a game here . Friendly bar service too.

The pizza is always on point! They have become my favorite in center city. The pizza arrives hot and consistently delicious! Fast too!

Walked in later in the evening to grab a bite to eat and expectations were exceeded. We sat down and the waitress was kind enough to immediately give us a heads up that the kitchen was closing soon but would gladly put in our orders as long as we had them ready. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so fun! Would definitely go back. Hit the SPOT.

The bar is in the back & decent size. They also have high tops. Ordered espresso martini & 2 slices of pizza

We stopped here and got a piece of pizza on our way to the show. Really good quick service looks like a very local place. A lot of locals very good vibe

Very good food all around. We enjoyed our food very much, and the service was great!!! We have been here twice now and will be back again, when in this area.

Completely surprised...may be the best vodka sauce we have ever had. Ordered with penne and meatballs and first bite to last was toe curling good. Waitress recommended vodka sauce 10" and it is what dreams are made from.

Been coming to Philly for 4 years and I'm blessed to have stumbled across this place with my lady. The hospitality was better than restaurants in the town we live in. You can tell they care about the community- Chelsea was explaining how they were offering donations for the Eagles Autism Foundation which I'm a huge supporter of. Simon, the owner, was so nice and personable. We loved it here and are looking forward to our next trip so we can stop back in. GO BIRDSSSSSSSSS

Nice spot, but the bouncers there are seemingly failed police academy students so now they work there with a vengeance.

Great spot for a pizza - either to dine in with a drink at the sports bar in back, or to grab to-go and enjoy at home on the couch.

Thank you to the really nice bartender in the orange hat (also a millennial) who grasps the concept of 'it's so loud in here' like it's not a nightclub. anyway the prices of the drinks were great. NO cover charges (that night) the floors were covered in confetti, and it was awesome watching jake paul get his jaw broken on someone's phone! #netflix ps. if you have a video of me acting up in a sombrero--no you don't.

A quick note for first-time visitors: the restaurant has multiple entrances, and I initially arrived at the back door. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in directing me to the correct entrance. The space has a unique atmosphere. The indoor dining area felt quite dark, but the restaurant appears to have multiple levels, including an upstairs dining area and a bar, which adds to its charm. I started with a cocktail and really enjoyed it. It was fruity, well-balanced, and had just the right amount of alcohol without being overpowering. Based on recommendations, I ordered the burger. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for me. It could have been cooked better, and overall I wasn't particularly impressed with it. What stood out most was the service. My server was attentive, friendly, and checked in regularly without being intrusive. Overall, The Dandelion offers a pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and great cocktails. While the burger wasn't a standout for me, I'd be willing to return and try other menu items.
