My coworker and I flew down to Utah for a work trip. we happened to stop by this place as it was near enterprise car rental. Amazing smoothies! we both enjoyed our smoothies so much (i got the green dream, I loved that you could taste the dates in it) that we came back again the next day and got more smoothies and their herb shrimp salad. I was so sad they didn't open before 10am as we would have eaten here again if I didn't have to be at the airport at 9am. I wish we had small owned family business like this back home. read more

Disappointing. I got the coconut curry bowl. It had no flavor - it was just salty - no balance at all. I couldn't even taste the curry. It was essentially a bowl of white rice with about 1/3 cup lentils, the flavorless sauce, some uncooked (or barely cooked), rubbery yellow squash pieces and a tiny bit of uncooked kale, none of which had any flavor either. How hard is it to cook healthy food that tastes good? I do it at home no problem. It just takes a little love. There's none in this place. I wish I had just fasted and saved my $13. read more

I wanted to really like this place. I wanted healthy food and this place was highly rated. But it was a really disappointing experience. Starting from a rude female server who never looked us in the face or smiled at us and seemed miserable to be there. We ordered 2 salads (Ahi Tuna and Avocado Salmon) and 2 bowls (Tikka Massala and Basil Chicken). As we asked questions, we were given annoying looks. It's hard to enjoy the salad and bowls wondering if something may have "accidentally" got in it. Later on a nicer guy came out to help us. I had a pretty disappointing experience at Mixed Greens. When I went to order, I asked the employee if I could have one of their salads made into a bowl. She nodded yes, but it quickly became clear she didn't understand what I was asking because she barely spoke English. She started making something completely different from what I ordered. When I politely pointed it out, instead of remaking it, the manager told me I had to take it as is because it was already started. I repeated multiple times what I actually wanted, but the manager insisted I still had to purchase the incorrect item. I've never had that happen at any food place before. It's honestly frustrating -mistakes happen, but refusing to correct it and making the customer pay for something they don't want is just bad service. The employee should have made sure she understood my order, and the manager absolutely should have handled the situation better. It came off as extremely cheap and not customer-friendly. I'm giving 3 stars because the food can be good on other days, but this experience was really disappointing and left a bad impression. read more

We were looking for healthy fast food and we found it here. Great selection of salads and bowls and make-your-own options. We didn't realize it was in a gas station convenience store until we arrived. So obviously, the atmosphere is lacking. But the food was quite good. The menu has all of my favorite things! The Martinez family runs a nice business and are very friendly and accommodating. They work quickly and create an attractive meal. The servings aren't huge, but filled us up. After we were halfway done with the salads I went to the counter to ask where our drinks were and the girl who was helping us pulled them out of the refrigerator below her and said that the açaí bowls take longer and she was trying to bring it all out together!
