Oh, my goodness! My friend was so right to recommend this place. It's really in a gas station, but don't let that stop you. They have yummy rice bowls or salads. You can order one of their mixes or make your own. Everything was fresh and delicious. I ordered the banzai basil chicken basmati rice bowl with parmesan cheese, pesto sauce and fresh avocado. Portions are big enough for two meals, but I snarfed it in one sitting as breakfast and lunch! No guilt. They have inside and outside seating or to go. Other than the jerk in a big black truck with California license plates who bullied his way around my smaller car into the last parking space in front of the building, it was a great experience. read more

I wasn't really a fan of the salad. Next time I'll probably stick with the warm bowl if I do come back. If you want a $15-$18 salad I'd suggest to go to Harmons and build your own for either the same or less depending on how hungry you are. read more

My family and friends had a great first experience at Mix Greens. The food was delicious along with generous portions. The service was excellent as well as the ambiance. We found this place on Google, we looked at the reviews , I'm not sure why some are complaining of the prices, with this economy what are you expecting freebies? If you're going to complain about prices might as well just stay home and cook yourself? We were a party of eight, not one of them complained about the food or the price. Customer service is big for us , we always encounter grouchy or unapproachable staff but here they were very very nice and welcoming. Great first time experience from start to finish. Vibe was definitely homie and quaint. Cleanliness and servings were up to par! Normally, I'm a regular fast food type of person. Attn: Gluten Free People Think of this as a cafe rio style assembly line. All food is in bins next to each other (except proteins which is cooked to order) and the same spoons are used to scoop food from all containers. They do cook the proteins when you order but it is behind back so I am unsure if it is all on the same cook top (but I am assuming it is). They do have a ton of gf items listed but cross contamination is most likely high. They say they offer tamari but it is in an unmarked container so I do not know for sure if it was or not. Probably good for gf people not related to celiacs and sketch for people with celiacs. read more
