When I scheduled with Mike for a massage, I wasn't expecting yoga, energy healing and natural supplements to come into the mix. I was blown away by Mike's thoroughness and ability to intuitively guide our session so dynamically. Our session started with a conversation about concerns I wanted to address and intention setting. He first brought me to the inversion table which was very freeing for my spine alignment. Next, he guided me on some deep yoga stretches. When we got to the massage room, I loved his thoughtfulness in making sure I had enough water and offering me an essential oil immunity support supplement. The massage itself was everything I've ever wanted in body work: deep, connected to the breath, hip opening, and extremely relieving on my ever tense neck and shoulders. I was introduced to Michael through a friend who raved about her experience with him. I was in Encinitas for a few days and decided I'd do a session with him. I recently experienced my first healing session with Michael. Prior, I had only ever received basic massages at massage studios. I wasn't even sure what a "healing session" was. I saw someone recommend Michael on a community group we're in and I was immediately drawn to him. Michael is such a warm, loving, welcoming soul and I immediately felt connected and at ease in his presence. After a beginning chat session to explain where I'm at physically, mentally, and emotionally, Michael showed me to the inversion table. My dad has an inversion table so it was nothing new to me (but I have never used it myself). So it was strange to me when I began to feel a strong fear around both him being on the table to show me how it works, and then myself. I understood that the fear must be coming from somewhere else and I was transferring it to this experience. Michael gracefully supported me through the process. After a couple other steps to release any negative thoughts or energy from my body to keep the session positive and peaceful, my 2-hour massage began. It was so amazing that I didn't even realize how long it was. Michael prompted the release of emotional blockages that I'd been fighting against for years, one that I didn't even realize was there. He spoke words that fit into my current reality perfectly, though I thought it was part of a script. I found out afterwards that it was not, and it was tailored to me. I had to think if I mentioned those things during our beginning chat, and I had not. The oils he used were a perfect combination and kept me in such a peaceful state. His opening and closing prayers, and attention to detail when asking my intention for the session, were a completely new experience for me that I will never forget. After the massage, we had another chat session where initially, I couldn't do anything except smile.
