This studio is intentionally designed to help you adapt, expand, and feel more alive. One of my favorite studio experiences so far. I genuinely did not want to leave! The Philosophy & First Impression: Before my first visit, I received a welcome video explaining the studio's philosophy: Using breath and hormetic stress (heat, cold, & movement) to grow stronger, healthier, and happier together. Their belief is simple & powerful, "When you take control of your breath, you take charge of your life." When I pulled into the parking lot, I could hear a man inside calling out, "Breathe in... let it go. Breathe in... let it go." (It seriously felt like the building was breathing.) The Space: I was warmly welcomed by staff who helped me check in, sign a waiver, and gave me a wristband and a full tour. The studio includes: a sauna; a cold plunge room; a yoga room; an AQUATru filtered water station; cubbies, dressing rooms, and a bathroom; and a lounge room with an educational video on their method The Class (Vinyasa Flow & Breath 90): The yoga room was arranged in a circular formation, so we faced one another, creating a shared presence & community. The class itself was an intermediate, heated power vinyasa with a smooth, steady breath-to-movement flow. Wendi cued in Sanskrit followed by English and layered in breath cues and gentle inward-turning suggestions in grounded poses. After a steady standing series, we moved into deep stretching and incredible twisting and detoxifying poses on the ground. The Breathwork Experience: After yoga, we were guided onto our backs with padded eye masks waiting for us. Wendi led us through three rounds of open-mouth inhales and exhales ("Breathe in, let it go"), followed by Mula Bandha and long-breath holds. During one of the holds, I received a neck and shoulder massage with peppermint oil, and I could feel the cooling, soothing effect immediately. The third round was the most powerful, with reminders that our bodies were fully oxygenated. After the final exhale, we were released into savasana. Wendi closed with a beautiful reflection about looking back on our day, our week, our month, our life and saying, "It was a wild and wonderful ride," which perfectly described the whole experience. The Teacher: Wendi was incredibly welcoming, thorough, and present. She took time one-on-one beforehand to explain and demonstrate the breathwork, which is essential for a sense of safety. After class, she stayed to connect personally and encouraged me to explore the sauna and cold plunge. She definitely holds a grounded, confident, and supportive container. The Sauna & Community Vibe: (I forgot a bathing suit for the cold plunge, but I spent time in the sauna.) It was a warm, social gathering space where the energy of the class naturally flowed in. People were connecting, chatting, and relaxing together. It felt like a communal ritual space. Overall Experience: This studio has so much to offer! The integration of breathwork, yoga, heat, cold, and education is genuinely thoughtful (not trendy). It was such a pleasure to experience Breathe Degrees. This is a must for any yoga enthusiast! Practical Note: First-timers must arrive 15 minutes early, no exceptions. This studio prioritizes safety and intentionality.

Best birthday decision I've ever made (for him... and me)…read more It was my husband's birthday, and I figured: why celebrate one man when I can turn it into a two-for-one win? So I surprised him with a hot oil body massage for both of us at Karma Spa, and WOW! this place absolutely delivered. From the moment the massage started, it was clear this wasn't your average "nice, relaxing" spa experience. The attention to detail, muscle work, and overall body awareness was next level. Every muscle felt seen. Every knot felt personally offended and promptly dealt with. Huge shout-out to our massage techs Peter and Cindy, true professionals who clearly know the body inside and out. They worked our muscles like seasoned pros, with just the right balance of pressure, precision, and care. Hands down one of the best massages either of us has ever had, and we've been to plenty of spas. This was our first visit, but absolutely not our last. We're already talking about a monthly membership because once you experience this level of massage, there's no going back. Highly, highly recommend... But please don't steal Peter or Cindy. We need them.

I'll start with a good…read morepart the young lady who took my call when I booked for a first Lady package amazing I also called and upgraded my mom's package and added my sister! That part was amazing. They definitely do a great job with add-ons. Mind you not each package is 185, my sisters was 95 if paid in cash.... That's $465 spent, the young lady that checked all of us in was amazing once again that's why I'm giving two stars...... Now where it all goes down the drain is , from here, the most IMPORTANT part that is why we booked, to enjoy, spend quality time and catch up. my sister and my mom are from South San Diego so we were all looking to catch up, We were excited to get together and spend time together, but this is where it goes wrong. I went in for a facial to a separate room where I had an OK facial, the young lady was good, but I wanted to relax, and in the beginning she kept talking...... I don't care much for her moms free massage or who's playing the Super Bowl ‍ facial was a two out of five.... Second, I then get put in another room where it was not even communicated to me, What to do. The communication here is horrible. My mom agreed! So then I sit down for a 15 min foot detox which was never communicated to me, I was asking do I said do I lay... once again communication barrier horrible. I later than figured out this was the detox, After that, I was brought to my 60 minute body massage which was OK but day after today I am so sore. I did ask for no elbows since she most definitely used elbows...... my biggest concern here is that they have no communication!! I then was taken to the 15 minute sauna, which was probably my favorite part!!! we then headed out we paid. They did ask my mom if she enjoyed her massage. She said yes she tipped..... for me. No one asked if I enjoyed it. I was going to say a few of my concerns why we were not all put together. We wanted to enjoy our massages together. Maybe we should've started with that all in one room but unfortunately, we were all put in different rooms. We never saw each other until the end....... I will definitely not be returning.

They have showers and a steam room which weren't working when I went. They also have cute instagram worthy vanities to get ready. If you want to come here, I'd suggest coming really early so you can enjoy all the things like the pool, the food, showers etc, to make it really worth the price. In my opinion, the prenatal massage felt overpriced it started late and then finished early, and just felt rushed. I felt like by the time I was barely relaxing, it ended. The staff was really nice, but it felt insincere like if they were trying to make up for it The worst part was when I was rung up. They had included the tip without my knowledge until I hesitated to pay and she told me she added a 30% tip to each person who took care of me I felt really really pressured even though I was planning to tip regardless. When I asked to change it, things got weird and awkward This interaction really turned me off especially since their website says how tipping is absolutely optional. I did leave feeling a bit refreshed but It just felt SUPER rushed and I left feeling dissatisfied. I felt like for the price I paid, I could've gotten a lot better elsewhere.
