Mixy Paws was amazing. I needed 3 times a day dog walking for 2 weeks when recovering from surgery. I wanted to plan in advance and they accommodated me. One person came to the house to meet my dog, Lola, free of charge. All the walkers were lovely, great with my dog and ultra-punctual. There were 2 main walkers which was great. Perfect experience. Before a friend recommended MixyPaws we cycled through various walkers and daycares to look after our golden retriever Arnie but nothing really clicked. Upon contacting MixyPaws, they were quick to set up an appt to have a MixyPaws representative to come to our apartment to meet Arnie, go over Arnie's walking needs and introduce us to the walker who would walk Arnie each day. It was very professional and thorough. MixyPaws is quick to reply on email to any schedule changes or requests, and took special care to follow COVID protocols within our building and apartment. We had a great experience with MixyPaws over the course of almost a year with our Golden Retriever puppy! The team was professional and responsive, and it was nice that they would automatically find replacement walkers when our normal walker couldn't make it. For most of the time, our walker was Lauren, who was absolutely amazing!!! She really formed a bond with our dog Lemony who adored her. We had a number of walks with some other walkers (like Brian) who were also very nice and professional. Our experience with MixyPaws has been incredible. I adopted my pup Gracie back in January, and wanted her to get out during the day but was really nervous about trusting her (or my apartment!) with just anyone. When I reached out to MixyPaws, they suggested an in-person meeting at my apartment (free of charge) before I made a decision. AMAZING. I felt so good about meeting them first and showing them around, and Gracie really liked them so we started walks. I've now had Lauren walking Gracie for a few months and can't imagine life without her! She truly loves my Gracie girl, and the whole team has been so flexible with my schedule. I travel for work, and Lauren makes it possible to keep Gracie's schedule as consistent as possible. A few times Gracie has stayed across town with a friend, and Lauren has gone above and beyond to go to Gracie there (so above and beyond the call of duty!) She sends an update on the walk everyday, usually complete with a few photos from their walk. Gracie is usually smiling wide, thrilled with herself. I am not very happy with Kate. I made several attempts to contact her and had finally reached her with the number provided. We had spoke on the phone and agreed to schedule a meet up. She asked for my email and phone number to confirm our appointment. No email or no phone calls were received by her. I continue to call and no calls were returned. Very unprofessional. Mind you I am directly across the street from the address provided on Yelp. It was not like she needed to make a commute across town to see me. Excellent. MixyPaws has been incredible during our transition into our new neighborhood with our timid rescue pup and now with our constantly changing schedules. The team is extremely professional, responsive, dedicated, accommodating and caring towards the needs of our dog and us as clients. The team will meet you and your dog when initiating services to get to know your dog better. There are detailed notes taken regarding your pet. This was so important to us because our dog Lola is initially very shy and timid. The team always worked to have Lola warm up to the walks voluntarily, never harnessing her without her voluntarily approaching her walker first. On multiple occasions, I could see on our home camera that her walker worked on this w for over 30 minutes. You don't get this level of dedication from other companies. Even more, we often find ourselves requiring late notice walks which the team has always accommodated almost immediately without any issues. Communication is seamless and prompt. I have had a very strange experience with MixtyPaws. I was interested in booking a pet sitter for my two dogs later this month. I filled out the online form and waited for someone to contact me. Nothing. I filled out the online form again and finally received an email from the team. I have now emailed 3 times to try to secure a pet sitter and have not received a response. At this point, I feel that if a company can't get it together enough to simply email me back, I certainly do not trust them with the care of my dogs for a long weekend!
