Stopped back in for a take-out order and everything was great from placing the phone order to pick-up. The woman who took the order was kind and the woman who ran my card and delivered my food was great. Food was fresh and yummy and correct! While Miyaki is a little loud and the acoustics aren't great, the amazing sushi, wine and service totally make up for it. The owners and servers are very personable and customer satisfaction is key. 10/10 recommend and probably top sushi place in Williamsburg. read more

Good sushi, the calamari was ok, definitely different than usual with the fry, the outer fry part almost felt detached from the actual calamari. Sad they didn't have the mango sticky rice the red bean ice cream sandwich didn't have any red bean flavor. read more

Not impressed at all. I had shrimp pad Thai and the noodles weren't completely cooked. My son had beef stir fry and he had me taste the beef. It wasn't seasoned. One server took excellent care of the twelve ladies who gathered here for our outing and was able to serve our drinks, meals, and separate bills rather quickly in this rather clean Japanese-fusion restaurant which also serves Korean food. I noticed that there was a list of lunch specials so I chose from that list. I got the Shrimp Tempura which came with Vegetable Tempura-green beans, a sweet potato, a broccoli, an onion, and some other veggies which were so delicious that I ate them right up. So many Shrimps of such a decent size that I couldn't finish them. Some California roll, salad along with some rice. I didn't need any wasabi as everything was well seasoned, but my bento box was pretty much on the tepid side though not cold. I did eat it as soon as it arrived as the other ladies told me to do so. We were visiting Busch Gardens and stayed near by. I needed my Asian fix and chose Miyaki since the had both Korean and Japanese. The restaurant is rather large. It's got the familiar Asian ambiance. A few Hibachi tables. We opted for no barbecue or hibachi. There only so much flaming onion volcanoe shows that you can see. I ordered the Korean Chirashi (hwe dup bap), a rainbow roll and some Spicy squid. My hwe dup bap was very good. Had lots of veggies and it was delicious. My kids spicy squid was good. It was actually very very spicy so beware if you are a spice wimp. The rainbow roll was just okay. I didn't think the sushi was necessarily their strong point. Easy to find place right next to premium outlets. Took my daughter and her friends here for her bday dinner. We've had Hibachi before but this was special as it was a new beginning for my daughter & I in a new state. Anyway, food was amazing and so much of it. Other places u only get to choose 1 like rice or noodles . Her we got veggies cooked to perfection, our choice of protein, we all choice a combo (chicken or steak & shrimp) Fried rice and Noodles .. it was a lot and delicious. We all had to take a to-go box. Only thing, chef didn't interact w/us as much or make jokes like we've had at other places. But it did give u a chance to talk amongst urself. Pricing is good w/the amount of food u get. I really can't give this place 1 star this time! Such a disappointmen! It was not our first time and usually it goes well.. a bit slow but overall ok. Well on 1/10/26 was my daughter's birthday,she had made reservations a week in advance for a party of 13. The day before she received a call that they had no "chef" to do the hibachi grill where they cook it right in front of you, she asked if they could still accommodate her & was told yes of course we can, they will just cook it in the back kitchen. With everything confirmed with reservation time of 6:00. We arrive and of course I scope out the place to see how many tables were being occupied not including us and it was literally 2 tables, one party of 2 & the other a part of 4. So I'm like ok this should go good as we had our 6:00 reservation. Well @ 7:40 we had only received our salad, soup & drinks. The waiter kept telling us 15 min then 20 min later it was 5 more minutes before the food would be ready. At this point I look around and people that had arrived way after us was eating or had eaten & was gone. Upon asking for the mgr he assured us it was coming right out... ok 15 min later no food! I looked for the mgr and he was sitting..yes sitting conversing with a table. When we finally spoke again and I again voiced my concerns & asked if there would be a discount for each of the party I was told no. I was in utter disbelief and shock that now at 8:00 we have no food not even the 4 children that was in our party We immediately left and called another restaurant Kyoto Japanese Restaurant to see if they could accommodate a party of 13 they immediately said yes & asked what time we said now & they said yes come So Miyaki Resturant we will NEVER EVER return. Your lies, unacceptable & unaccommodating ways are beyond fixing. Your floor mgr, your GM (who made that decision) need to go back to class to learn customer service!!! read more

Also ordered 2 plates of hibachi and they tasted like they were just filled with msg. Anyways, the place is nice, service is good, but the food is a deal breaker. If it was cheaper like around 15 dollars per person i would give this place 4 stars, but we somehow spent over 100 (excluding tip) without realizing for 3 people (1 is a child). In fact it might be the best roll I have had in a long while. Since arriving to this area I have tried two other hibachi style restaurants. I am used to an incredibly delicious restaurant in my hometown. To me, miyaki is the closest to that place. I was satisfied with the ginger chicken and the hibachi New York strip. I look forward to returning and trying the Korean dishes on the menu. Been to Japan and lived in Hawaii for 14 years. Didn't really like their take on Hibachi at all. Definitely lacking the skills and the food is really salty and sodium heavy. Not a lot of flavor. We left feeling extremely uncomfortable and tired from the salt and sodium intake. My body definitely let me know afterwards. However, the reason for at least three stars is because the other dishes we tried off of their menu in the past were not too bad. Especially the lobster dynamite roll or some of the Korean dishes.
