I had their award winning crab cakes while hubby had their special, which was halibut. We tasted each other's food and we agreed that I won. Hubby's meal came with Asparagus. I was given a litany of sides to choose from so I had the steamed vegetables consisting of zucchini, yellow squash, sliced red onions, a few carrots, and snow peas. My plate also had a very tasty side of lettuce, dressed with cilantro. Of course we couldn't resist the chocolate molten lava cake which you must allow the kitchen to add 15 minutes in advance to prepare for you. It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We were seated in a couples only space, perhaps a third person at one of the tables so it was more intimate than Saturday's, so a better seating experience. Obviously we returned! Best crab cakes ever!

Twice in the past week, and meals were excellent both times! Steak dinners one night, Seafood another night. Crab cakes were definite winner that night, but the halibut was very good. Molten lava cake for desert is just sinful! Service was exemplary as always, wait staff pleasant and knowledgeable, just enough friendly humor to make evening enjoyable. Decor is always kept up to par and dining here is always a treat!

Very nice atmosphere! Appreciated the staffs attentiveness (greeted us by last name, checked that the steak was cooked to our liking, & even performed a baked potato topping service!). I will say, in my opinion, the food is good but it's not necessarily the best thing i've ever had. I feel like every plate was good, but mediocre. There wasn't anything we really raved about. I feel like all dishes would've tasted a bit better with more spices. The steak frites portion sizing also didn't seem like enough. 3.5 stars, definitely a fun experience but the food isn't thrilling.

Was on a golf trip and we went here for a "fancy" dinner (8 guys). This place is a typical higher end steakhouse. Nice atmosphere, good menu, and a bit pricey (expected). With alcohol, like 100-150 a person. We got a bunch of side dishes, salads, main meal, and dessert. I ordered wedge salad, blackened filet (8oz) with potatoes au gratin, and bananas foster cheesecake that is on fire when served. Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful, clean, and upscale with top-notch service -- our waiter Jacob was exceptional. The bread and butter? Excellent. But the French onion soup was lukewarm and loaded with more thyme than I have left on the planet -- seriously overpowering. The filet mignon was decent but came in just past medium rare when I asked for medium. For the price point, I expected more. Fancy place, but the chef needs to ease up on the thyme.

The menu also has so many food options, making it easy to find something for everyone. The food overall was great and very enjoyable. However, I would not recommend the brownie and chocolate sundae dessert. The brownie and cookie were cold and hard, which made the dessert disappointing. On the positive side, the carrot cake was huge and definitely worth sharing -- easily enough for 3-4 people. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the meal and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, Second Street American delivers great food variety, strong service, and a family-friendly atmosphere, with just a few misses on dessert.

It's been at least a year since visiting TD because it's somewhat of a lengthy drive from where I live so, when passing by it's a convenient food option. So glad I stopped and revisited. My visit was mid afternoon with only a handful of customers in the place. I was instantly greeted with a friendly smile and hello, said I wanted to order a to-go and grab a beer as I waited. Melody at the bar was very friendly and accommodating as she served up a beer and walked me thru my food questions and order. Once I got home, it was chow time. The whole rack of ribs was deliciously moist, tender and flavorful as was the pulled pork I ordered for sandwiches. The sides included mayo based slaw (they have both vinegar and mayo slaw choices) and collard greens. The slaw was fresh and good but, the collards were very good! I should have also order the baked beans but was an oversight. I'll order the beans next time for sure and there will be a next time sooner than later. My late lunch/early dinner to-go was a delicious meal. Two Drummers staff is friendly, the food is very good and, if stopping to eat in the restaurant or to just have a beer/drink at the bar, the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Definitely a good family owned business to patronize!

The fresh catch meal included a simple house salad, and it took 30 minutes for the salad to arrive. Shortly after the salad arrived, our meals came out, and they were lukewarm. I had the grilled mahi mahi with lemon dill butter over some roasted fingerling potatoes and corn. While the fish itself was a nice piece and well prepared, its not-quite-warm temperature made it less appetizing to eat. The same was true for our other meals: the seafood pot pie and the mahi mahi fish tacos. While our waitress offered to have them all reheated, we both didn't have time as we had theatre tickets and reheating the tacos with their toppings, the pot pie with its pastry crust, and the seared fish didn't sound appealing. The restaurant's dining room was comfortable, and the bar area looked vibrant. Hopefully they are still breaking in their new facility, as we liked dining with them in their previous location.

We went on a Sunday afternoon at 3 PM and were promptly seated. The atmosphere was fine, pretty open and unexceptional, but modern and new. Big screen in front of us playing the Sunday football game. Server was quick to get drink orders in, 12 oz. Commonwealth Modern 'Smores stout for $8 and my wife got a $16 Peppermint Espresso Martini. I appreciated the nice Commonwealth stout and the price was fine. The Peppermint Espresso martini was mediocre and very overpriced considering that. Our food took a long time. Like 3 apologies from the server long. There were 2 parties of like 10 that were in process when we sat so I get it. But I do feel like something should be given when it's 45 minutes plus on food. Anyway, on to the food.... My kid is not much of an eater and they did not have any type of kid menu. Ended up with a soft pretzel for $13. Add cheese fondue and it's $16. It was very big and delicious.... At $16 it's hard to be excited about it though. The cheese fondue definitely made the pretzel. I was not overly hungry and got She crab soup $8.50 for the cup and a Caesar salad $5. The soup was good, they add the crab on top so you can see they give you about half a cup and for the price it was good. Definitely not the best she crab soup in the area, but good enough. Caesar was just croutons, Parmesan and dressing and was fine. My wife got the "fresh catch" Chilean Sea Bass for $33. It was kind of fishy tasting. Fresh fish is rarely fishy. It was overcooked, horribly plated and the blackened seasoning had minimal flavor. It was bad. We asked for some tarter for it and it made it tolerable. The server offered to replace it, but having just waited 45 minutes for food we weren't going to chance something else, particularly since we were with another couple. While we were waiting I had 2 $3 special Budweisers and my wife had a $14 Snowflake Margarita. They were all fine. My kids sprite was $4 which feels outrageous, but I don't know what places are charging these days for sodas. I normally don't pay attention. Bill came with another apology for all the waiting and no discount. Tough to make it as a seafood restaurant when you are struggling with your seafood. I heard their seafood nachos are excellent.... Maybe I'll give them another chance for those. My first experience was not a good one.
