This place was on my radar after seeing local reviews on the Saint Clair Shores residents page and today we finally got there for a late lunch. Once you get inside, it's not what you'd expect based on the outside of the establishment. It's more quaint and clean and airy. The waitress was kind and the service was very fast. We tried the house ginger salads, which were very bright and fresh, as well as the chicken karaage, which was awesome! Then we had the tiger roll, green dragon roll, and Fraser roll and again, those were amazing--fresh and clean if that makes sense. They weren't heavy or greasy. I'd rate this right up there with my favorite sushi places and I'm so glad we finally made the stop. We'll be back! read more

DELICIOUS!! Everything was so good! I never had chicken kaarage before but it definitely won't be my last time thanks to this place. I had a bit of a difficult time finding it due to it being at such a confusing intersection. Despite what directions say (mine misled me), the best entrance is off of Grosbeck!! I ordered delivery tonight and tried the Shrimp Tempura Roll, which is usually my go to, but tonight the other 2 rolls I tried were so much better! The Crazy Cali and Sunkiss rolls were fantastic. In town visiting family and came here for a family dinner on our last night... I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of food and the service. We had a few vegetarians and non-sushi eaters but everyone was able to find something they loved. I was impressed by the veggie roll options and have never seen fruit rolls (my toddler loved the crazy banana roll). The karaage chicken was delicious! Everything was made to order, quick and fresh. Our server, Isabella was so kind, attentive and patient. She was observant and made recommendations based on people's preferences and what they were ordering. Honestly the best service I've had in years. And the bill ended up only being around $240 for a table of 9! We will be back next time we are in town!!! read more

Did a takeout but we ordered in the restaurant and waited for the food. Nice little restaurant. Nothing exciting by the ambiance. Clean, maybe 10 tables, very utilitarian. Service was good. Only one other table occupied in late afternoon but the phone was constantly ringing and many DoorDash drivers. . Took our order quickly and served us water while we waited. Food was excellent. My wife had a shrimp teriyaki roll which she raved about the sweetness of the shrimp and the combination enhancing the flavor. I had a specialty roll and we shared a dragon roll. Both very good and nice high quality fish. Started with the gyoza. I have had better but also had many more worse. Prices in line with the quality of the product. The reviews seemed good, so I gave it a try. The server was sweet and attentive, and the place was clean. The ramen was basically instant noodles, which would have been fine if they hadn't come out horribly overdone. The broth was bland. I asked for medium spicy, so it was spicy, but that was about it. No other flavor. Fried rice was OK but needed soy sauce. Udon noodles were chewy but bland. The red dragon roll seemed slightly fishy. The tuna avocado roll was decent. Pretty good sushi, overall. The nigiri was all very fresh tasting and it might be my new go to. I got yellowtail, salmon and tuna and they were great. No complaints. The sushi rolls were all a bit small for the price in my opinion. But again, no real complaints when it came to taste, options or freshness. The place looks very updated inside compared to what you might think looking at the exterior. Staff was all very friendly and all working hard. We have driven by this place a handful of times & decided to finally try it tonight! I have a mild seafood allergy so sushi places can be tough as a lot of them don't have many options other than veggie or seafood, but I checked out Miyoshi's menu & luckily they do! We order their Gyoza (chicken dumplings). It came in a cute little boat serving dish & it was delicious!! The sweet chili sauce was the perfect dipping sauce! My husband & I both ordered the chicken bites dinner. I ordered sweet chili & he order teriyaki. They were both so tasty that neither of us could pick one sauce as a better/favorite sauce! & the rice was cooked perfectly! We also ordered the strawberry roll which was also great! The food was so disappointing that I didn't even finish it and threw it out . I ordered the takoyaki and it was so blend and just dough . I think there might have been one piece of octopus in there and it was over cooked . The shell was hard . I also the Kani bao buns and the buns were so hard that tasted stale. I couldn't even eat it. The kani salad was ok but the cucumber to kani ratio was my issue. So much cucumber and barely any kani salad. I ordered three rolls the cucumber, dragon and crispy chicken and all of them didn't taste fresh and the rice was hard too. Even the cucumber roll didn't taste right. I wouldn't call myself a Sushi connoisseur but I have had a good amount of sushi in my life. And Miyoshi hands down this was my favorite sushi place I've ever tried! I don't usually go up to Fraser but I was in the area and decided to try a new place and found Miyoshi on a whim. To be honest I wasn't expecting much but I was blown away. I ordered the Takoyaki which is an app with fried Japanese octopus and it was amazing! 10/10 would get that app again! As for the sushi, it tasted SO fresh and the rolls were fun and unique. I usually pick my favorite roll out of all the ones I order, but I loved them all. The lady working at the front was also so sweet and we had a good conversation.
