Came here because we needed a late night dinner after working at Lime Rock Park until late. This place is open until 10:30! Better than that, everyone who works there is extremely friendly, and they have a few decent beers on draft. I got a pepperoni pizza and it was exactly the way I like it---thin crust, just the right balance of cheese and pepperoni, and it was GREASY. Not disgustingly greasy or wet, enough to make the whole pie juicy and delicious. Oh, and they provide crayons too. Not some generic Crapola, but the real deal Crayola. The food here is ok. The inside is actual rather nice for a pizza place out here. It is made out of wood and has a bar. However, certain things on the menu I definately would not reccomend getting. I would not get any of the pizzas or the salad. Basically, just pasta. The pizza dough quality is not good at all. The service is good though. They are nice people. Hungry hikers (repulsed by Cliff Bars and endless Ramen Noodles) who need their hot meal fix--look no further than Mizza's! My boyfriend and I stopped by Mizza's after a nice two-day hike/camping trip at Bear Mountain. Mizza's was the perfect stop for a buffalo chicken wrap (DELICIOUS, quality shredded grilled chicken doused in hot sauce, topped off with bleu cheesE. Onion rings are also phenomenal), fries and Sam Summer pints. The waitress who was working by herself had 5+ tables to tend to and she did a really good job of keeping up with everyone- even delivering our second frosty pints in a very reasonable time. Soft serve ice cream topped off the hungry hiker victory meal. They have a very impressive and lofty menu typical of pizza/sandwich shops. We drove back to Hartford and along the way saw 3 Mizza's. We had no idea it is a culinary mainstay for this part of the state! Twas' delicious and I'll be back the next time I hike the AT again! Maybe a little far off the trailhead that we went to (Lion's Head) for AT thru-hikers, but it's worth it. We order from Mizza's frequently for delivery, yet I have an ongoing issue in ordering the potato skins. I always ask for extra sour cream. Today they sent tartar sauce, including extra tartar sauce. Sometimes they don't send any sour cream at all, despite being asked for extra. And the potato skins are just not the same without them. The potato skins themselves leave a lot to be desired tonight as it's mostly overly burnt cheese. And my friend got a salad with mushy old cucumbers and the end piece of a stalk of romaine. The quality control has been subpar. I called to complain and got no apology whatsoever, just a gal giving excuses which really doesn't fix my problem. We are going to be taking our orders elsewhere from now on. read more

Have been to Mizza's a couple of times, but usually to eat there. But during these times the only option is take out. With a 20 minute drive it seems questionable, but when we got home, the salad was nice and fresh and cold, and the Stromboli and chicken parm,chicken wings and clam strips were still nice and hot. Awesome pizza. NY style. We ordered Genoese - pesto, sausage and mushroom and a bacon pizza, wings and Albanian salad. The pesto pizza was very good. Although it stays with you the rest of the night, if you know what I mean. ;) The Albanian salad was very good, containing cucumbers, tomatoes, oregano, vinegar and oil, red onion and feta. Mizza's serves a pretty good pizza and has an excellent selection. I picked up five extra large pizzas and they were enough to feed eight hungry guys. Our favorite was the chicken cordon bleu. The staff was really nice as well. Happily provided all the plastic dinnerware we needed to feast. I would certainly recommend them. read more

My daughter and I walked in at 5:10pm and I was going to get a small pizza. I stood there and was completely ignored. One of the servers was so engrossed in her side conversation that she barely looked at me. One other server was sitting by the register and looked in my direction several times and not so much as a "we will be right with you" was given. Lastly, a woman whom I assumed was the manager walked right by me and asked a gentleman how he was doing without even looking up at me. Our server was wonderful! I ordered the eggplant grinder, no cheese please! The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (made on premises), perfect bread!! The sauce was so flavorful and fresh tasting, the eggplant was very lightly breaded and not one single bit oily. The onion rings were also perfect! One of my companions had a turkey wrap and it was fresh and delish, my other companion had an antipasta salad and the veggies were fresh and crisp, loaded with meat and cheese, another companion had the cheeseburger and fries, again wonderful bread, crispy fresh fries. I ordered in from Mizza's this past week. I've been meaning to write this review but have been tied up with work. This would be negative stars if there were a choice. Food took so long to arrive; I would have had enough time to watch the Harry Potter marathon. When asked for a refund, the lady on the phone was very fresh and unpleasant. She spoke upon me like a subordinate and said, and I quote," I'm sorry, why are you complaining you got your food didn't you?". Very upset would not recommend or feed this food to my dog(that would be animal abuse). Overall I don't see my family or me ever ordering ever again. read more

Usually they're okay bu this is the third time they have taken over two hours to get my food to me. (I'm 7 minutes away). I only ever order a large pepperoni sometimes a 2 liter bottle of soda. I love this place. It's a lot like Brothers Pizza, which was in the same building before MIzza's, but they've taken the same basic idea and made it even better: delicious pizza, standard and not-so-standard Italian dishes, and a comfortable, homey atmosphere. I usually go here at least once every time I visit my family at home and the service and food is always great. The best part? There's a laundromat in the back of the building, so you can chow down on some pizza while waiting for your pants to dry! read more

I've never actually been to this fine establishment, but have enjoyed their free and fast delivery service a number of times. Their customer service is excellent, with very kind and professional staff on the phone, and a really nice and neighborly delivery man. I grew up on NYC pizza, and can therefore be discriminating. Wow! What a find! An off the beaten path nothing exterior hides the amazing food inside this place. It was recommended to us after we stopped in Herrington's hardware store just down the street. For our lunch, we had a bowl of pasta (the boy's favorite eating out food), a veal parmesan grinder, an order of bruchetta, and an Albanian salad with chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and amazingly fresh feta cheese. The bruchetta was on an incredibly light crunchy bread, and had crumbled feta cheese along with bits of tomatoes, roasted red pepper, red onion, and green pepper. Went here with family and they were extremely busy on a sat night to be expected . However as we were waiting ten minutes in for our table a lady with two guests walked in . You could tell she either frequented the establishment or worked there she went and cleared a table and sat her party down before us ..... when we mentioned to the hostess that we were still waiting on a table but the party that just walked In sat themselves down she could care less ... she had a horrible attitude and when we said if your not able to seat us maybe we should go elsewhere she replied that's fine ...... wow..... I love their food and they are very reasonably priced. One downfall is their seating, the booth are extremely tight. Great neighborhood place. We were staying in Sharon just for the night and came here for dinner. Husband ordered the small Albanian salad and I the Greek and they were huge, we really should have stopped there (the waitress warned us portions were large).
