The service was wonderful here! Our waitress Karen took great care of us, was friendly our entire stay, and checked in an appropriate amount. The first drink (water, soda, or BEER) was on the house, and the menu price for any additional beer was only $2.99 . The prices of the rolls were very reasonable, only $12.99 for the specialty rolls. Would not recommend getting the steak teriyaki. It was so chewy and gross my jaws still hurt. I can tell it is a very low quality beef. The strange part is that it is extremely fatty but yet hard and chewy. I was disappointed by how much dry the rolls are. I am used to having restaurants add spicy Mayo or teriyaki sauce. For delivery they didn't even provide soy sauce to make them edible. We were hopeful this place would be amazing but unfortunately we will skip it from now on. read more

Our kiddos were not cooperating so we wanted to order some food to go and we were told it would be an hour wait for the to-go food even tho we had already spent a good amount eating in the restaurant. Sushi rolls are fresh and very delicious! They're also very reasonably priced ($13 for a roll compared to $17-18 at other local spots). Great service and they offer complimentary water bottles and soft drinks too! The staff were kind and fast too. We had one food item (chicken teriyaki) that we didn't like, it was too rubbery for our liking, BUT the staff was very quick to apologize and refund our food. Deluxe Chirashi MJ Roll California Roll Warriors Roll Baked Scallop Roll Deluxe Hand Roll Yellowtail Jalapeño I'm not going to review all of them so I'll highly 3 of my favorites! Yellowtail Jalapeño: wasn't super spicy but the little bit of heat from it with the house sauce paired great! The fish was fresh and beautifully plated. Deluxe Hand Roll: this didn't last more than 3 bites it was so good! The portions of fish were very generous and after taking the first bite the oil from the tuna slowly made its way down the roll to the bottom, so that flavor carried after each bite. Truly a roll to take your time a savor. Deluxe Chirashi: fish was fresh, portion was generous, and slices were huge! I know some people will say sushi rice and sushi rice. But the rice here was cooked perfectly. No clumps and not dry, but fluffy and flavorful. Just the right amount of stickiness and rice vinegar. From start to finish it was about an hour with the inside packed, outside packed, and people waiting. Worth the wait! read more

Boxes and misc junk line the kitchen area and it takes away from the experience of eating what you hope is fresh good sushi. They need to hang some pictures, create a vib and clean up the behind counter area. At min, build a wood frame structure and store your junk/food & booze stuff in it and put fabric on the front so your customers don't have to look at the mess as you prep. The food, prices and service were all good. No issues there at all. The experience/vibe was odd to me though. Everything is in to-go containers even for dining in. We asked for a Diet Coke, water and iced tea...we were given a bottle of water, bottle of tea, and a can of Diet Coke. No glasses, No ice. The miso soup was just warm, not hot (probably because it was served in a paper bowl with a plastic spoon). The lettuce only salad was given to us in a plastic container with a lid and the dressing was in a to-go container also. I don't know...This just didn't feel like the typical dine-in experience. I guess it's not bad, but it's definitely different. I would however recommend this place for take out. read more

They refused to take our order to-go even though they close at midnight. I called them twice at 11:30pm to place an order - they did not answer. My boyfriend shows up to order in person, arrived at 11:40, and they refused to take his order. We're Regular customers of this place and sadly won't return. Turning down business is horrible business - not to mention we're still in operating hours!! Change your hours to close at 11:30pm if that's when you want to stop serving!
