Long story short, I changed plans and am no longer getting a new water heater. But the friendly help and stellar communications from Natalia were appreciated and impressive. When I sent her a photo of the existing water heater and expressed concern about what the new, tankless water heater would look like, she sent AI (or photoshop) -generated images showing exactly what it would look like in my garage. When I shifted gears and said "Maybe we can put it outside, she addressed all of the logistical concerns, sent a tech out to go over the situation, then generated an elaborate quote that broke everything down beautifully. And then, of course, I used ChatGPT to troubleshoot what can go wrong with moving a water heater ten feet, while changing from tank to tankless and going from interior to exterior and it gave me about twenty concerns. Most of them seemed like AI nonsense but some of them were good points. Make sure your gas meter is X size, make sure your gas line is 3/4", many concerns about re-circulation situation... I'm sure the Natal and her techs new all of this and knew to determine some things on the day it was installed but Natal took every one of my concerns to heart, realized some were valid concerns that were not addressed on the first time a tech came out to quote the job so sent our another tech to take a closer look. And then I never did the job... Natal was as pleasant and sweet the last day as she was the first day. Just eager to gain my trust and do the job. Clearly, that has been most people's experience, too, as i look at these other reviews. Look, I don't get the impression that On Call Water Heaters shows up with three brand new vans all emblazoned with the name of the company in a full vehicle ad-wrap and the price she gave me reflected that... smaller outfit with less personnel that gives good pricing and good service with a good attitude. As usual, it's one or two people at a company that make it stick out and in this case it's all Natal.

I can't say enough about these guys…read more As far as I know, they don't do appliance work, so their few negative Yelp reviews must be mistaken. My prior plumber was charging me $450 for a hydrojet. These guys charged $250. Our clay mainline was cracked, so we needed to call a rooter periodically to clear the roots that would grow into it. After their work, our mainline was free of roots for about nine months, so they clearly did a thorough job. During this latest visit, however, Alex showed me how the mainline was deteriorating, so after performing another hydrojet, we decided he'd come back to re-pipe it. All Clear does work for the city, so they're equipped with industrial-grade tools and equipment. They were able to dig two holes in the ground and use a machine to run a new pipe through the old one. They arrived early, finished in a few hours! Also, they charged me a small fraction of what another plumber quoted! Without the equipment, it's a job that would have taken days and torn up my yard. I could go on and on... they're that good!

This weekend, a commercial property I manage had a sewer line blocked up and another plumber had…read morecome by and tried to run a snake through and didn't clear the clog. This plumber said the line needed to be hydro jetted and quoted me $850 but needed to contact the crew to see if they were even available. Kind of pricey and no certainty of even getting the line serviced that day. I called around and Plumbing Brothers was the only plumbing service that had a crew available to come over within a few hours and they quoted $650. In the past, we've had to hydrojet the line at this building and were able have the service done via the clean out that was in the bathroom and right next to the toilet. Unfortunately there were some complications this time around and the hose wasn't able to go down the clean out far enough to reach the clog so water and other nastiness were actually coming back out of the clean out and onto the bathroom floor! Fortunately, the service guys they sent, Enzo and Jesus were professionals and figured out a solution. Jesus asked if we had roof access so they could have the hose go through the pipe that's on the roof connecting to the sewer mainline. Both guys coordinated the effort and the clog was able to be flushed out! To make sure everything was clean, they put a camera down the clean out and it was a relief to see the camera showing a completely cleared sewer line. My only gripe was getting the final bill of $850 when they had agreed to charge $650. The reason for the price increase was because they needed to access the roof. With some negotiation, they talked to the boss and we came to a reasonable agreement for the final price and I got a discount because I was the one that was furiously mopping all that nasty water coming out of the clean out and making sure it wasn't flooding the hallway while they were trying to get a the clog from the clean out by the toilet! Take note, if you pay with credit card, there's a 4% card processing fee that gets added on so either have cash or check ready if you don't want to have that added cost. All in all I appreciated their prompt response and would use them again if that building needs to have the sewer line hydro jetted again.

They made a next-day appointment & phoned when they were on their way. A very knowledgeable technician - Josh arrived & after checking the plumbing in the basement, explained where the problem was. I had the option of hydro jetting or pouring a clog-clearing product called "Liquid Lightning" (which I never heard of) down the drain. I found the product at Walmart & used it as directed. So far, so good. I have two water heater replacements as well as other plumbing repairs coming in the near future & I will not hesitate to call Rockstar Plumbing. Unlike many businesses today, they are honest, knowledgeable, and (as advertised) don't charge for estimates.
