MJ'S really saved the day for me. My sliding glass patio door shattered and they were able to get it fixed in less than one week. I called several other places in the area first and they were either slow to communicate or were unable to work with the type of door I have (it's older, larger, and uses a less common type of glass than most). MJs responded right away and were able to get someone into look at it the next day. Then they ordered the parts which took a few days, and were able to come replace the glass ASAP. They also fixed the track rollers which was causing the door to get stuck. The scheduling person was responsive and efficient both by phone and text. Gabriela and Marco provided initial great customer service on initial quote to installing screen windows but after that service has been terrible. Why? Well, the measurements that were conducted came out incorrect and I've been in contact with them trying to set an appointment to get the window screens fixed. It's been over a year and my window screens have not been fixed to the corrected measurements. As a customer when you pay for a service you would want everything to be done correctly and I've been patient about their "busy" schedules. After I confirmed with them, MJ's was able to schedule some time the very next day for service. MJ'S Windows has done a great job for me on three separate projects. I first hired them to create some kind of screens for hinged windows that I never opened but wished I could if only they were screened. They had no screens to begin with because it was kind of an awkward set-up, but Marcos figured it out and came through for me. I've lived here for many years and could never enjoy open windows in that location, but now I can, I do, and I love it. I later had him replace two old split sash windows in another room. The new windows are beautiful, secure, and work well. Most recently he put in a frameless shower door for a newly built shower. The door is heavy and substantial, very classy looking, fits well, and is the perfect finishing touch for my new shower. Gabriela, who was my telephone contact at MJ'S, was always pleasant and well informed. She and Marcos are both a pleasure to work with. Excellent service! I needed very old window screens replaced to fit very old windows. The prices they quoted were very fair. The lady (Gabriela?) was very punctual and will always keep you updated. I asked to have two screens made and she said that if I had any issues I could call them for a technician to come install. So of course I did run into problems and asked for a technician. The technician came with a mask and said that my new screens were too big to fit into my windows so he took them in to adjust and was able to fit them both in within 30 minutes. He charged me a very fair service fee as well. I would definitely go back to this business for my window needs. read more

Also took a cabinet door with unique frosted glass front that broke to them (young kids are tough on old houses) and they matched it perfectly. The repair was one of the glass panes in my front door, which is a French-type door. They immediately quoted me a price after I sent them the approximate dimensions and a picture of the broken window. Once I approved, they came out to my house the same day, measured, and ordered the glass, which took a few days. They were able to repair it within the same week. I used to have to repair screen windows as a kid for a rental property our family owned. It never turned out perfect. Slightly at an angle, or not completely flush tight screens in the corners. The company was able to estimate the cost of a new, tempered window, coming in at nearly half of other, non-local businesses. Within a week of the call, we had a new window installed. I was told that they make them at a place near my house, I went there and was given a quote and told that I would get my screens within a few days because there was (1) order in front of mine. I then called Orchard, I was given an even higher quote and told the wait would be two weeks. After that I called home depot and while I was on hold while being transferred from one dept to the next I went online and found this place. When they did come to measure the window, the actually price was less than the quote....who doesn't like that? After the measurements were taken, it took them about 3 days to let me know that it was ready to be installed. Marcos arrived on time and got to work immediately. He took his job and did not rush.
