I've been to MK Nails a few times now and must say I'm a huge fan! The place is clean, neat and cozy. The staff are professional, friendly and welcoming! I have tried multiple solutions for longer lasting nails with no luck - MK Nails offers Tapped (a gel solution) and waaah-la! My nails last three weeks and still hold strong! I'm an active girly and need my nails to go the distance. MK Nails delivered and with beautiful results!

I had come here a few weeks ago to get a fill gone wrong from somewhere else fixed. The woman who helped me did an amazing job so I decided to come back today. A man did my nails this time and he kept shaking and moving my hands around like implying I was doing something wrong with my fingers, which I wasn't. He was doing that the whole service. Then he started laughing as he was yanking my fingers around. Not sure what the problem was, I asked him a few times. I left feeling super uncomfortable. Not to mention, my nails look crazy. Back to trying to find a decent place.

I booked an appointment for a gel nail set and absolutely loved it! The staff were all kind and helpful in assisting me with choosing the perfect base color for the French tips. The salon was clean and bright, and the air conditioning felt wonderful! I paid $60 for my nails. I definitely recommend this nail salon and will be visiting again! I'm posting this a little over a week after getting my nails done and they are still holding strong!

Had a great experience at this nail salon. I randomly found this place while calling around for shellac pedicure prices. MK nails was probably the cheapest and had good reviews on Yelp. I made a reservation few days before actual appointment and i got nervous when he was still doing another pedicure when I walked in.. but surprisingly he had her out right at my appt time! I was impressed lol. Don doesn't speak much but he sure gets things done and gentle. The place is very clean and quiet since it seems they are only on appointment only. I think I found my new go-to nail salon! Highly recommend!

Decided to try a new nail shop today. I found MK Nails on Yelp. Been looking for a place a little closer to home. Lucky for me MK had a cancellation this morning. I made an appointment for noon and Mae was on time for my appointment! One woman shop. Great location. Near the park and Marysville new City Hall. The nail shop is in a remodeled property with plenty of parking. The shop was very nice and clean. The owner operator is Mae. Very sweet. She asked me how I liked my fills done. Made sure on the shape and color. She did an excellent job on the fill and polish. Pricing is comparable to other shops in the area. Make sure you call ahead ad she may already have someone she is taking care of. Well done! Very glad I went today

Pedicure was good but don't go for acrylics!!!!! They made us wait 2+ hours and forget about you. All my nails are different shapes and sizes. Not worth $80.

I asked for a regular nail service. There were some spots that did not cover the nail color. the one did my hands was not the owner and I was doing gel nail. the staff think I would pay a lot tip. I don't have a good service.

I have been getting my nails done for over 40 years. I just moved here from Oregon and needed a new nail shop. I looked at Yelp reviews and this shop got five star ratings. I can see why! I was not disappointed. The shop is very modern inside and super clean and organized. Made me feel good about my choice the minute I walked in. May and her husband are so nice. I got an excellent pedicure and then a nail fill with gel polish. She did the artwork on my nails exactly like the picture I showed her. She really took her time and did a great job. All through the process she asked me if I was happy with the length, the shape, etc. I already booked my next appointment and I also booked an appointment for my husband to get a pedicure tomorrow. read more

Amazing every time! She's very attentive to detail and takes her time. I came in to get a color change that was previously done at another nail salon. When she looked at the work, she immediately knew it wasn't done here. She took a picture of my nails to later show me a comparison of what to look out for if I ever get my nails someplace else in the future (since I live in Puyallup). Then once she redid my nails, she showed me the flaws I didn't even notice before until I compared it to her work. Major difference! Her work is so clean, I'm extremely happy!! So worth the drive! This place is a hidden GEM! May is wonderful! She takes her time, the shop is clean, calming and massage chairs are new. I've been to a few other shops in the area and this one really takes the cake! Make sure you make an appointment, they don't have a lot of techs. If you are looking for a mail shop - give them a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

I didn't really catch her name, but the owner was so kind and friendly! She was gentle with my cuticles which is rare, she was the right amount of chatty lol and I really am happy with my nails. New to the area I've been on a hunt of a nail salon service (SNS manicure and regular pedicure) that I found both relaxing and worth the $. MK Nails certainly checked both those boxes. This is my second time coming in to get my nails done by Mr.Kim... HE IS AMAZING and fast! First, you can just tell he loves what he does, he is kind and just makes you feel like this matters, your nails SHOULD look great! Second, it's a painless experience. I have gone to several nail places and the nail tech has hurt me but not with him! Lastly, they last. The nails look great and will continue coming. My favorite go-to place to get my nails done, if you've ever had a Ukrainian manicure this is one of the closest things that I found to that style of service. Typically I just message them whenever I wanna come in to get my nails done, they accommodate me at any time. Sometimes I'll even come in at eight am. I spend less than $100 for gel pedicure, and either dipped nails or gel nails. The quality is amazing and my nails last typically longer than two weeks. They are extremely accommodating and kind, they don't bother you if you have headphones in, or if you're on the phone. I use this time as a relaxation time and like for it to be quiet when I'm getting a mani-pedi and this spot is perfect for me because they don't attempt to make small talk. read more

Amazing!! We recently moved to the area & I've been trying to find a new place! I am so excited about stumbling across May & her husband. It's really a hidden gem, mom & pop place. Super cute inside, so so clean. Didn't have the strong acetone smell either! May got started as soon as I walked in for my appointment, I was offered a water and enjoyed the oldies music videos they had playing! May let me know every detail she was doing and price breakdown before she started. After every step she made sure I was happy. She was so gentle, and my nails look EXACTLY like the picture I showed her! Definitely worth it! I am so happy to have found my forever place! read more

Came in at 39.5 weeks pregnant, expecting a really great/relaxing experience a few days before my due date, based on what I read in the reviews. Was welcomed warmly, but the experience went downhill from there. She seemed distracted, not very careful, and totally unaware that I might be uncomfortable in certain positions due to my huge belly and likely back pain. She cut my toe cuticle and then my thumb cuticle - the worst cut I've ever had at any salon - it wouldn't stop bleeding. She forgot to do lotion/massage on my left arm and started painting my nails - I had to remind her. She did comp the manicure after all this, which I appreciate, and so I almost didn't post a review, but the 5-star rating is what brought me in and I need to share that this is not a 5-star experience, so that people have appropriate expectations. I was expecting relaxation and to be well taken care of, and instead I got a distracted and careless experience. read more

The best nail salon I've been to literally in years! The salon itself is bright, clean, spacious, and organized. They do every kind of nail you can think of, as well as offering a menu of spa pedicures. Mae is the first person in a long time who always does a careful job to make sure my nails won't break off; I was regularly losing 4 or 5 out of 10 nails before, but I haven't had a single issue since I started coming here! The owners are friendly and welcoming. You should definitely try them! read more

I wanted to try a different nail salon and came across Asia Nails on Yelp. I called to make an appointment, but Judy (the owner) said she didn't take appointments, but if I was on my way, she was confident I would be the first one in. Located off State Avenue, the house (converted into a salon) has street parking. The small salon is owned by a couple and they both do nails. Nothing fancy, they only do nails and waxing. Judy and her husband are very nice people who care about their business. Mani-Pedi only cost $25! I had her use regular polish so it took longer to dry. They don't have "quick dry" so I will bring one next time (they use a small fan to dry your nails :)) read more

This couple is funny, friendly, and has reasonable prices. I found it on Yelp, because I've been looking for a nail salon where I don't feel like I'm part of an assembly line. A cute mom and pop nail shop. I went on a Sunday and wasn't sure if they were open, but they only take walk-ins because it's only her and her husband that run the place. I went for a pedicure which the husband, Peter did. Judy was trying to organize a garage sale with a bunch of clothes they are both very friendly and personable. I didn't realize until after the fact that they only take cash. She allowed me to run to the bank and get money. Pedi's are only $18 and I was very satisfied with the service. Definitely coming back they are both sweet. read more

I would give her 11 stars if I could! So I've had exactly ONE pedicure since the beginning of the pandemic, and it was awful. About 3-4 months ago I went to place on 4th and was extremely unhappy with my pedicure and polish. She went at an angle and didn't get near the cuticles, so when it started to grow out, (and it only took a few days to show because of how she painted it, my toe nails don't grow that fast!) it looked awful! I had almost given up on ever having a great, even good pedicure since I moved away from my regular place over a decade ago. Yes, it's been over 10 years since I had a great pedi! Sad, I know. Then I found May, she is awesome and does such a wonderful job! I got my pedicure done about a month ago, and it still looks like I got it done yesterday! Also, my feet haven't been THAT SOFT SINCE I WAS A BABY! And they are still pretty soft and smooth after several weeks! My partner got me an appt for the pedi as a surprise and gave me the option to do something with my hands as well if I wanted. Well, I haven't had gels ever (dabbled with acrylics two decades ago) and wanted to give it a go. I work with my hands and am very hard on them daily, I use my nails as tools and use a plethora of different cleaners and acidic solutions many, many times throughout the day, so I figured they wouldn't last 3 days tops. I was wrong, not only did they last, they looked great for a long time! If I hadn't gotten Covid and was able to go in, they would have stayed flawless in between fills, I was floored! So happy I decided to go to her, I just searched for who had the best reviews. (I don't know what's up with that one 4 star review ruining her perfect score so far, even with a picture of red nails, they are gorgeous and she even said she loved them, so why only the 4 stars Red?) lol! Anyway, my second time going to her: I often work late because I don't leave until the jobs are finished. I cater to my clients to get the job done right, and that's another reason I really like this place, she is the same way. I called ahead and she agreed to get me in late one night because I wouldn't be able to come back for several days because of work, and I needed to have them done, been planning out my colors for days and days. As usual, she did a great job and they look beautiful! I don't even want to write this because I don't want her to not be able to get me in if she gets super busy, but I definitely want that for her and she deserves the praise and the business. So don't even think, just go here. You will be happy! Did I mention she offers juice, soda, tea, and ginger ale while you get pampered? Best. Nails. Ever. read more

I had an amazing experience at this nail salon! I went in for a pedicure and spa treatment, and everything was absolutely perfect. The service was top-notch - the staff was professional, friendly, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The pedicure was done quickly but with great attention to detail, and the results were flawless. The salon itself is incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The owner takes passion in her work and in her designs! She knows many different styles and how to make your nails last! As they should! My wife comes here all the time once in a while I will join her. They do such a great job on making sure I'm comfortable and relaxed. When I'm done it's like my feet were never in working boots. Best men's pedicure. Women bring your husbands they will love it. read more
