Weird vibes and a weird smell in this shop. I wouldn't stop here again, as a woman. Very limited ammo selection. And unhelpful male staff who made weird attempts at humor when I asked who worked there and if they had more of a certain ammo I was purchasing. The woman working there was helpful and kind when I needed to check out. The two stars are for her, apparently the only staff member dedicated to a positive customer experience. Decent supply of guns and supplies. They have a very friendly staff. The owner took time to share the company story with me.

They are not that knowledgeable and added 5-6 weeks onto my wait for a suppressor. I'm aware, at the time, it was taking more than a year in some cases. They didn't start the paperwork for 5-6 weeks. I went in weekly, the guy that did the paperwork was never there and I was always given a terrible excuse. 2-weeks he couldn't do it because he left his laptop in Payson. 5-6 weeks later i enter the system for a year plus wait. read more

If you have over 50 years or combined knowledge , you better hire a few more people with a lot more knowledge because you guys don't seem to have enough. But thanks for trying to respond. We actually had the gun back within a few weeks and fixed correctly with the correct solution. You guys had no idea what was wrong with it And it was in your shop for three weeks. This Store was great until my second time in which was yesterday, 3/14/2022. We had spent almost $2,000. The guy (glasses, dark hair with receding hair line) working that day on Monday did NOT treat us with respect what so ever. He was very rude to me. I was ignored, which I brought to his attention and he denied ignoring me. I was treated as if I did NOT belong or as if I wasn't buying something or haven't already. ALTOGETHER I AM SICK FROM SPENDING THAT MUCH MONEY THERE AND BEING TREATED THAT WAY. The owners are great, hopefully this doesn't go ignored. I was very excited for this place because it's right by my house but I guess it was short lived. I have never been treated like that by any business in this area and have lived in this location for almost 30 years. LESSON LEARNED!!! Hopefully for you guys as well because I was going to spend over thousand dollars again just on handguns that day. I am NOT some window shopper. I was a good paying gun buyer. read more

Bought a gun there no problem, but, they didn't offer to sell me any ammo and I didn't see any displayed, so, I thought they didn't sell it. So, I went online to see if Walmart had any. It wasn't clear if they did because I couldn't order any on the website. So, I called MLS the next day to ask if they sold ammo. The lady said yes. As an aside, I asked if Walmart still sells ammo? She rudely said she doesn't know anything about Walmart, she only knows about MLS. I said, you don't know? She acted like a cult member where she would get beaten if she answered my question. I asked, haven't any of your customers mentioned it to you? She said she'll get someone else for me to talk to and put me on hold. A guy came on and I asked him and he said he believes Walmart is getting out of the gun business and wasn't sure if they sold ammo. I said, shouldn't you guys know whether they do or not? Wouldn't that be a selling point for you guys, where you could say Walmart doesn't sell ammo, but, we do? I thanked him and hung up. What a bunch of weirdos. Not going back there. read more

Absolutely awesome folks. I purchased online and used MLS as an FFL, which was my first experience doing so. They made it SO easy and communicated the whole time, and it was incredibly fast (I had my new firearm in 2.5 days which included shipping from the East Coast). They have a fantastic system of filling out the paperwork electronically, and it's super efficient and accurate. While I was there to pick up my transfer, I observed that the personnel is incredibly kind, accommodating, friendly, welcoming, informative, charming, and deliver a no-pressure educational sales approach for new buyers (considering the current environment and stress of CV-19 and stay at home orders, those qualities are beyond admirable to observe). They can also do certain custom builds - which as I observed are very high quality. Overall - I'll 100% be visiting MLS again, whether it's for a transfer or in-person purchase, or maybe even a custom build. Phenomenal folks! read more

I called into MLS Arms earlier this afternoon because a firearm I had purchased from a different retailer had jammed with a round still in the chamber. After briefly explaining my situation they said to bring it in and they would have a gunsmith take a look. When I arrived I was greeted by a very nice lady whom gave me a warm greeting and then introduced my weapon to one of the gentlemen gunsmiths. As they took the gun to fix it the lady behind the desk explained that between the two gentlemen they had over 40 years of working on and around firearms and were very knowledgeable. After 5 minutes they brought my gun back out front and all ready to go. When I inquired about cost they said if I purchased a box of ammo we would be even. I have been in a lot of gun stores but I must say that I have never been more satisfied than I was with MLS Arms and very much recommend that store to everyone. Along with a very nice selection of firearms they have tons of accessories alike. I will be going back there instead of the big retailers. read more
