The food was absolutely delicious, I loved the flavor of the chicken momo filling, the flavor of the chilli and vegetables were great! It was the perfect heat for a spice lover. Friendly staff as well, they were kind. The meat they serve is all halal! I enjoyed the atmosphere, it was relaxed. The food preparation did take about 10-15 minutes for a main entree like this, but may vary with other dishes of course. Over all 10/10 food, I'll be going back soon!
Momo Hub is a food stand within The Common Kitchen, an international food hall. The food hall and ordering from the food stand itself is a casual experience. MoMo Hub, among other food vendors, also have some merchandise and food items that you can purchase along the wall of the food court such as teas. This food stand features Nepalese dumplings. We ordered the Fried Chicken MoMo dumpling which was a good choice. The order was complete in about 10 minutes. The dish itself was beautifully presented. These fried dumplings were crispy and served with two sauces - one was creamy and the other was sweet and tangy. Taste-wise, these reminded me of curry puffs.
Had the mutton jhol momo, which was such a good generous portion! Great lamb flavor in the broth, chunks of lamb and lamb filling. The in house hot sauce was so good too!
This place gets busy! I made the mistake of coming here on a Saturday during dinner time without preordering my food. It took between 30-45 minutes but that's entirely my fault and I won't fault a good restaurant for that. My wife and I ordered the chili chicken (a timeless dish) and the chili chicken momos. Both dishes have a good burn to them but if you eat the chilis on the plate you'll be feeling it a few hours later. In fact, my stomach still feels like it's on fire from the heat as I write this review. Spice lovers rejoice! The customer service is outstanding and just watching them cook in that shared kitchen looks like a story out of Little America. You can tell this place is ready to expand with a bigger kitchen. I see nothing but good things in their future.
A recent addition to the Common Kitchen and caught my eye as it replaced the Ramen spot. I've had Nepalese food before but not Dumplings (Mo Mo) and that makes up most of the menu here. Wasn't sure what to order so a kind lady suggested the Chicken Chilly. I was warned it was spicy. They steam to order so it took about 15 minutes. Complex spices with just the right about of heat. Excellent dish and I would say the portion is shareable given the filling dumplings. Service was friendly and patient with my questions. I saw a couple of Keto items and they offer Halal meat. They also had a board with the most popular dishes which was a nice touch. We will be back to try some of the other Mo Mos!
I gave a really low rating mainly because of the service. It was atrocious. First, there were two connecting restaurants (that wasn't obvious) and I went up to the counter that looked like where we should order from. I was standing at the counter trying to order and no one acknowledged me though they were sitting right there laughing with one another and looking straight at me. Finally, I asked if i could order and the young lady said I had to order from the other counter. The whole time I am ordering she had a terrible attitude and is very short ,snarky, and making faces. Finally they charge me and it goes through on my end but she says it doesn't. I'm trying to explain to her and she pretty much spoke to me like I was an idiot and saying I didn't press a button and that she checked and no transaction happened. I pay again. I check my account and I show her that it processed 2x and that is when her whole attitude changes and she becomes tolerable. She called, who I'm guessing was the manager and owner and they told her that I could call or come back with a receipt to get a refund. I ended up contesting it with my bank and got it resolved. After that, they made our food in about 10 minutes are so. They poured frozen momos into the pan to warm them up. I got the s chicken chilly momo and the fried vegetable momos. The fried vegetable momos were good. The chicken momos filling was really good, but the chilly sauce was lacking some flavor to it. They have a good quality and the fillings were hearty. I was really looking forward to trying this spot and would have liked to try more of their food options, but I am very disappointed by the clerk's service. ok
Great to have this new place at the Common Kitchen! It appears to be a family run business, and everyone behind the counter was very nice. We got: - the chili chicken momo - good but spicy! had some grilled veggies in the dish and everything was coated in a bit of a chili sauce - the fried chicken momo - pretty good, not greasy, curry flavor inside. I actually also liked the grilled lettuce leaves they sat on - the steamed veggie momo - these were ok, maybe a little more on the bland side, but good texture - the barfi momo - dessert dumpling with sweet ricotta; tasted like a cheese blintz but in a dumpling wrapper Our order also came with a reddish tomato based sauce which was good but the dumplings/momo didn't really seem to need it. The veggie momo probably could have used a little soy sauce or something, but it didn't really pair with the red sauce. This weekend is their soft opening so everything was 15% off, but our total for the 4 items was still $44 with that discount, which works out to a little over $1/piece. The prices will probably prevent me from coming here too often, but I did think the food was good overall.
This is a small food outlet inside of a larger food joint, which includes other food joints such as Indian, Mexican, etc. We ordered chicken momos and chilly chicken momos. Momos were fantastic. Although $15 each is on the higher side...what is cheap these days? It was worth it. It was a good quantity. Our only complaint was that the sauce for chilly chicken dumpling could be better. There was a lot of ketchup thrown in that sauce. Plain momos had delicate flavors which we liked.
Got the spicy and the vegetable dumplings and both were so fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu.
Good momos here. We had the Jhol momos and chilly momos. Both dishes were good, especially loved the jhol momos. Spicy as indicated but full of flavor and taste. It was the perfect dish for the chilly weather. I will definitely go again to try other items on the menu here. A must try for all lovers of momos.
This place really hit the spot. Also, some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I highly recommend the chilly chicken momo, it's not too spicy, but it is a bit too delicious. Plenty of other great options as well, including options for vegetarians. I'm already missing this place, can't wait to come back and bring more friends here!

Excellent meal at Momo Hub! We got the chili momos and the jhal momo and they were both so good! Definitely on the spicy side but I couldn't stop eating them!! The soup with the jhal momo.was incredibly flavorful - peanut and citrus and just so good. Can't wait to come back. read more
This stall serves Nepalese food, including many vegan and gluten free options (including a low carb version of momo wrapped in cabbage). We just wanted a small snack and since there was no line at the time, we asked the server about some of the menu items that were unfamiliar to us. She was very helpful, and we ordered a gluten free bara with chicken, described as a pancake made of lentil flour, topped with meat. There was no line but our snack took longer than I expected given the "pancake" description, more than 15 minutes. Also, they were denser and more oily/fried than I expected, but were very tasty. The chicken topping was well-seasoned and delicious. The sauce that came with it was good, and we asked for some hot pepper sauce, which worked well with it. We'll definitely be back to try more - everything looked good. read more

Nice concept and ambiance in the common kitchen. I ordered a vegetarian chilli momo. I ate one which had a cabbage filling a little balance but the sauce was nice. As I ate another it turned out to be a chicken filling. This was very disappointing. I explained to the lady at the cashier and she gave me a full refund. read more

I've never had Nepalese dumplings before (although I have had Nepalese). They were good and I would definitely explore the options again. We ordered the Chicken Steam Mo:Mo. Beautiful presentation -- the reaction when we brought them to our table was one of envy for sure. The dumplings themselves were a great balance of dumpling and filling. The filling was a bit spicy which made it all the more flavorful. We chose the mild dipping sauce (I can be a wimp), and we enjoyed that as well. The sauce reminded me a bit of tikka masala... I think it's a creamy tomato base which is why I thought they were similar. Overall, good stuff over here! Try a new type of dumplings! read more

This place just opened up and I've already been at least 3 times. The Momo hub owners are very nice, and the food is always delicious! I've tried the Jhol Momo too which was spicy and tasty. The food comes out quickly, the staff is very nice and I will definitely be back to try other stuff on the menu too. If you are in Columbia you MUST stop by to try these momos, they have options to have rice on the side too if you don't want momos read more

Found this place purely by accident and I'm so glad I did. The menu had so many tempting options I had a hard time choosing. I wasn't disappointed! Chicken chilly momo is out of this world! The chicken filling has such good flavor, and the sauce has a nice amount of heat but not too much to overpower the filling. The dumplings are tender and tasty. Highly recommend!!! read more
