Not good at all. The chicken fried steak has a very abnormal breading that tastes awful. The Green Chili smothered burger (one of their specials) tasted like school food. Drinks never refilled, wife asked for a suggestion between two dishes she was considering and the server literally shrugged at her. This place was right across the street from our hotel, so went to check it out for a later lunch after visiting the parks. Very cute, old fashioned diner vibe! They have all the flavors of blue bunny iced cream right as you walk in. The tables have all the outdoors stuff on them. It fits right into the culture of Moab. Our waiter was awesome, he made great recommendations. I wouldn't have tried the sweetwater potatoes without his recommendation - they were fantastic and a signature dish! He also recommended the taco salad, which I loved. The shell could have been crisper, but loved all the fresh insides! The only downfall was - you have to go outside to go to the bathroom, and it was cold for us Tucson folks - EEK! read more

I had a long day of travel coming from New Mexico through Utah, I found myself a Moab needing food for the night. I ate here prior to continuing on to Green River. I don't know if this was an off night for them however the food was mediocre at best. Lacking flavor and salt. The biscuits seemed as if they weren't made in house. Honestly, I don't know what the appeal is to this restaurant and why it has so many great and wonderful reviews. I hope if I ever find myself here again, I have a better experience next time. read more

We had breakfast and then went back to finished the day with ice cream for dessert. Breakfast was great. Biscuits and gravy were huge and the gravy was awesome. Kiddos got the pancakes and loved them. The ice cream was epic and 1 scoop is actually like 3 or 4. Great place for family. read more

Service was awful. Food was under cooked and they were serving people food that were there after us before us. And we had chicken and they got burgers. Waitress completely ignored us and was so rude. This is a gem, serving all day breakfast and ice cream. What can go wrong with that? We had the Moab Diner's Sweetwater Skillets, the Ribeye steak and Chicken Fried chicken. All food were great, very flavorful and cooked perfectly. We quickly devoured the food and ordered the banana split for desert. If you are reading this, the banana split is a must try. I can't remember when was the last time I had it but this one tasted awesome, a perfect ending for our dinner. read more

We were in Moab for 5 days and ate here 5 times. It was excellent. Everything we ordered was great and the service was always phenomenal. Even when it was busy, we never waited more than a few minutes. Their milkshakes were the best I've ever had and THICK! I was not expecting Moab Diner to be such an awesome spot. Honestly, whenever anyone talked about Moab Diner, I was expecting mediocre food and an outdated atmosphere. Although, this place is hip! The parking spaces outside are extremely limited. It is a tight squeeze around corners and into spots and there really isn't that many spots to begin with. Inside the restaurant is about the same. Granted, I did visit Moab Diner during Easter Jeep Safari, so I am sure that added to it...but it was shoulder-to-shoulder and I was a bit confused on the system. I stood at the front for a while, by the counter, before someone finally let me know that you are just supposed to grab a seat and then someone will come over to you. Moab Diner has got it all figured out. They know their crowd and cater to them perfectly. The tables have Jeep-themed advertisements on them, with brands such as BestTop. They also had custom Jeep Safari T-Shirts for sale. One thing that really stood out to me, was the service. No, it is not over the top nice...but it also isn't Waffle House service either. What stood out in regards to the service, was the speed. Holy crap, these people are fast. There is employees running around everywhere and the food comes out within a matter of minutes. When it came to the quality of food itself...it was good. It wasn't anything spectacular or super flavorful, but it wasn't bad either. The first time I went to Moab Diner, I ordered the chicken sandwich. It was nothing extraordinary and the bacon was way too chewy. The second time I visited Moab Diner, I just opted for a chocolate shake and it was pretty good. I think the name of the game at Moab Diner is "quick and easy". They don't have any incredible dishes that you won't be able to make at home and there isn't really anything here that stands out, in terms of food. However, they have some of the quickest service I have ever seen and it still is a great local spot. I also appreciate the fact that they support the Jeep community so well. I'd definitely come back to Moab Diner in the future. read more

We always stop at moab diner when we pass through the area ! It's good food, good service, and you're out of there quickly to go on some moab adventures Parking: They always seem to be busy and there isn't too much parking. That being said, we always snag a spot pretty quickly and have never had an issue with it. Food: We love the breakfast foods ! This trip was the first time I ordered a non-breakfast item though and I was disappointed. I had the chicken fired chicken which was thin, chewy, and just not great. I left it. That's the only dish I've ever had an issue with so in the future I'll go back to just breakfast options which are simple, delicious, and filling Also we always love their bottomless cups of coffee and it's quit good as far as such coffee goes ! Service: The staff and support staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Despite being very busy since the place is always packed, they still spend time talking g to you and refilling your drinks. They're also great at giving menu recommendations Ambiance: I love their old school diner design. That, paired with the ads for local adventures on the table is pretty cool! The only other thing I'll note is that the restrooms are outside the building but they're always clean! I have had to wait in line to use them before though. read more

I was visiting Utah and wanted to try out the diner and when we got there around 8 pm it was absolutely packed so we thought "hmm they've gotta have great food then" well we quickly realized that they are best known for their breakfast but we still ordered burgers anyways. The burgers were horrible, this was the worst food i've ever eaten at a restaurant ever. they may have really good breakfast i just unfortunately did not want to try that place again in the morning. Just don't get the burgers, completely unseasoned and no flavor. it's like going to aunt judy's backyard barbecue but much worse. read more
