I. Love. This. Place. Ate here twice during our four days in Moab and I loved both times. Super impressed. During our first visit I chose the Southwestern Salad with Chicken and it was SO good. HUGE portion. It was greens, BBQ sauce, a southwestern chipotle ranch sauce, chicken, corn, black beans... I'm not sure what else but noms. I also had a cold brew. Earlier today, after a long hot hike, we came back and I had the grilled cheese sandwich of the day which was a ton of cheese, bacon and a apricot sriracha sauce. YUM. Very good. We really wanted to try the ice cream and had seen the flavors listed during our first visit so this time we were able to try it and it was very very good. I had two scoops and different flavors for $7 which is pretty steep for two scoops of ice cream but it's a huge portion and was really delicious. Plus the cryo-cream technique they use is neat with the mix-ins and it being made fresh in front of you when you order. The two flavors I had were the orange apricot creamsicle and key lime pie. Both were delicious. My friend chose blueberry basil ice cream and I tried a bite - it was so good! I doubt any of the flavors would disappoint. The vibe inside this place is also awesome bc it looks like a super hipster shop inside and sells a few homemade Moab goodies on a table. Staff were all kind, answered tons of questions, and worked with my friend on her food allergies going out of their way to look at ingredients and answer questions or modify items on the menu for her. I went here based on a yelper recommendation, and MGC did not disappoint. I went both days in Moab lol. I ordered street tacos one day and blt next day. Both days I also ordered salads to go for my dinner later, as they close at 3p, and I knew I'd be too worn out to go out again. The salads kept perfectly until dinner in my hotel fridge. I ordered the berry chèvre salad and the southwestern salad. Only thing is the southwestern had a LOT of sauce/dressing and I wish I had ordered it on the side. It had bbq sauce (would have preferred salsa, for less sugar) and a white sauce/dressing? Order at the counter and pick your seat. There's signs everywhere to also bus your own table. Only service provided was taking my order, and bringing my food. So odd that the suggested tip was so high. read more

Fun energetic place for coffee, ice cream, breakfast, lunch and inexpensive jewelry! Funky vibe with really good food including a daily grilled cheese special- how fun is that? They have all the appropriate machinations of espresso you should want and lovely pastries & cookies! My only complaint is they open at 8am instead of 7 and are closed certain days of the week like Tuesdays so look up their hours of operation before you plan to go there so you are not disappointed. read more

Wear your skinny jeans because the trend factor is high here! Super hipster and excellent food. It is rare you find a restaurant with close to 250 reviews and a 5 star rating. It deserves this title. I ordered the three little pigs daily special grill cheese with chips. I topped it off with a San Pellegrino. It was excellent! Bacon, salami and ham with lots of cheese on tasty bread. The overall atmosphere was fun and a cafeteria style where you order then sit down and eat. They also have a large selection of ice cream if you are craving some sweets! The absolute BEST food we had in Moab, without question. We came here both days for breakfast and got different things each time. Between the 2 of us, we got the Croque Monsieur (add an egg), Traditional Breakfast (tater tots were to die for), the Smothered Mother Burrito (SO much food but SO good!), and the Garage Burrito. Literally everything was 10/10, and their coffee is amazing too. These guys truly know what they're doing! Plus, the service is great and the ambiance is super cool. Cool little cafe.. Well, I thought it was little and I walked back towards the restrooms and there was another space in the back. Is it theirs? Idk. I didn't investigate. Vegan options were available as well as a vegan chocolate chip cookie! I wasn't feeling the vegan food option I had. It was ok but the reason I would return is probably for a coffee or tea drink to-go or even to have it there inside or the couple of little outdoor tables in front. So glad we caught them open on our last full day in Moab. The pastries were fresh and the coffee was refreshing. The Oreo cheesecake donut was a yum but the death by sprinkles chocolate cake donut was very dense. The cinnamon coffee cake and berry coffee cake were both scrumptious and if you ask them they'll warm them up for you. Wish they were open more days but if you are in town check them out. read more

Moab Garage Co. was a great place to go eat and get some coffee after an early morning of hiking at Arches NP! I got a cold brew to drink and it was strong but delicious. To eat, I got the Savory Quinoa Bowl (gluten free and vegetarian) which was topped with a fried egg and it was warm, filling, and hit the spot! The flavors went really well together. The coffee was good, which is why this feels deserving of 2 stars. We went two days in a row because the first day we just got coffees and it was great. We came back a second day to get breakfast as well and I ordered a yogurt parfait. I was rudely met by a bowl of half yogurt, half brown sugar. I chose the yogurt parfait because it was a healthy option but when it's covered in almost half a cup of brown sugar, I'm pretty sure that takes away the health aspect. Had it been written on the menu, I would have known not to order a bowl of brown sugar, but I didn't know any better than the next guy. I was thoroughly disappointed with my parfait, and my partner was also disappointed in his scrambled eggs. Overall, I'd say just go for coffee, unless you like eating a pile of brown sugar. read more

Awesome gem hidden in Moab. Due to the pandemic they're only open Friday - Monday. We were lucky enough to be one of the first in line so our wait was really short. If you're in a hurry you can order ahead online and they'll bring it out to you. Staff is friendly and willing to accommodate. I only wanted tots and eggs and they were willing to make my simple order. Grabbed the croque monsieur which was a heart attack of deliciousness. Amazing place for breakfast! We had been walking a while when we passed by and saw their window menu. They have so many options but the one for us was the Smothered Mother Burrito with barbacoa (you get to choose between that and carnitas). It was huge so we decided to go halfies, it was filled with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and salsa. The ranchero sauce was tomatoe-y with a subtle spiciness smothering the entire burrito. Along with this we got a peanut butter bar which was perfect with the coffee. It was a great surprise that with the purchase of the awesome coffee tumbler they filled it up with coffee!
