Went to Moab Grill twice while in town for vacation. Food was good-I had the turkey burger both times. The service was good. Liz was especially nice to us striking up a conversation with us. All in all good value for price. read more

The place was not that busy. We waited to speak to anyone about getting a table. Staff member after staff member just ignored us and did not help us. So we headed to another location. I tried to speak to someone and no one could say who I was supposed to speak to. I would not recommend this place. The place looks dirty and unprofessional. read more

I'm a local and wanted to try this place out. The food was awful and plating was disgusting. I couldn't tell the difference from the gravy and juice from pot roast. French fries are the worst I've had and Dr. pepper was flat. Paid full price and left the place ... will not be going back. read more

I went into the Moab Grill skeptical, no reason in particular I just expect to be let down when I am trying a new steak place. I wasn't disappointed, I had the the Buffalo Rib Eye that had a great taste and with baked beans and Mac n' cheese. Like I said the steak was awesome, no sauce needed, they didn't just open a can for the baked beans, they had a great sauce and the beans were truly the best ones I have ever had. The Mac n' cheese was ok, they didn't use cheddar for it, still tasty though. As for the service, I wasn't easy on the waitress, I asked her a few questions that she didn't know, like where the meat comes from. She was very polite and excused herself to find out. I was surprised that she didn't know the soup of the day, but I think she was new so I didn't hold it against her. This restaurant didn't get 5 stars just because I didn't think it was perfect, but if you are in town and want meat you won't be let down. I can't see them serving anything that you wouldn't be satisfied with. read more

Traveling through and took a chance on this place. Amazing food, fair prices, and the views can't be beat!!

I try to avoid chain restaurants whenever possible because I think some of the best food you find is at these local restaurants. Unfortunately, the spontaneous decision to eat at Moab Grill is something I'll regret, but not for very long, because I'll never make that mistake again. The food was horrible and the place was dirty. As if that wasn't enough, their prices were outrageous. Hopefully, anyone reading this won't make the same mistake I did and will avoid this place like the plague. Spent the night in Moab after exploring Arches National Park. Sunday night is Prime steak night. My prime rib was fatty and flavorless as well as my husband's prime rib. The yam was watery, like it had been boiled instead of baked. The mushrooms were flavorless as well. My vegetable medley was fresh and good. Wait staff was friendly and courteous. They serve fried chicken...that's why I went there. It was very, very good. Crust was spiced very nicely, not too salty and not too thick. The chicken was juicy and fresh. The mashed potatoes were real. My husband had the Philly Steak sandwich with fries which came with a big cup of au jus. He enjoyed it. I stole some of his fries, really good, natural cut. Fries are my thing and I was delighted with them. A side note (to some) the Coke...they mix it perfectly in my opinion with a little more bubble than sweet. My husband and I shared the chicken fried steak dinner mainly because we found most of the menu prices too high for this "diner" type place. What we got was a fried ground beef patty with a bit if gravy spooned over it. I found the side salad tasted unwashed to me and the small tomato slice mushy. We tried the peach cobbler which tasted like the ones you can buy frozen at the grocery. Our waiter was exceptional with great manners and promptness. Where can I start. We had some long hikes today and came starving to this restaurant. We were greeted and seated quickly. Water came quick and took our order quickly. I had the prime rib and quail with yam and mashed potatoes with a local beer. I am not sure if cause I was starving but this food was great and I recommend it. We also had the veggie burger and side of veggies. They got the order perfect with no butter and sauce. The veggies were well cooked and burger was so good I didn't even taste it :-( read more

We had breakfast at Moab Grill ($24), it was too early for the Eklecticafe. Our waitress never brought the Diet Coke I ordered. My husband had a crummy Omelet, I ordered French Toast figuring it was a safe bet. I was wrong. The version that was served was coated in cereal. Think French toast coated in Frosted Flakes. I much prefer savory to sweet, I wasn't able to eat more than a slice. Fortunately, two mystery pancakes were brought over. I was able to eat one and half of those. The other half was drowned in butter and left inedible. Sadly, this was my second meal in Moab where I left hungry. read more

Delicious homestyle comfort food in a warm atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Had the open faced prime rib sandwich smothered in brown gravy on Texas toast. On the side were mashed potatoes and corn with diced red peppers. Portion size is huge and all for under 10 bucks. A perfect way to end our winter weekend in Moab. read more

Horrible service here. We arrived after a long day of being out in the sun and were ready to relax with a good meal. Unfortunately, the host and waitress were both cold and seemed annoyed by any simple requests that we had. The food was good but VERY expensive. Not worth the money. We were starving after a day exploring and stopped at the Moab Grill a couple of nights ago. I ordered a burger, which was a previously frozen patty served on a very dry bun with cold tomatoes and lettuce. Call me crazy, but I like mayo on my bun. Horrible service! Took 45 min to get pancakes and eggs, and when they arrived it was ice cold. Had to ask the bus girl for refills.

Not great food! The service was pretty good but the food was not. My kids liked the chicken strips but the my husband and I ordered chicken fried chicken. It was not at all what we expected. The gravy was ok and the mashed potatoes were good. The chicken was edible at best. We will NOT be going back. read more

Plenty of Food! I'm down in Moab 5-6 times a year and had never been to the Moab Grill until late August. Breakfast was incredible, I was overly surprised with how much food we got for the price. Moab is typically expensive for food so I was cautious when I saw a meal for less than $8. Pleasantly surprised. They get really busy, but the food came out quick, decent size portions, and everything tasted really good. Try the coconut French toast! read more

this place is fantastic! our truck broke down nearby, so we stopped in for breakfast. not only was the food excellent, but the service was other worldly. kind of an everybody knows everybody place. people were generally concerned about helping us out, offering up advice and passing out numbers to local mechanics they recommend. great food, better people! read more

I would rate this NO stars if possible. My waitress, Brenda, took forever to come and take my order. She didn't introduce herself, or welcome me. She said "Ready?". I proceeded to order & she's reaching for my menu while I'm still trying to hold it because I had some questions on the rest of the things I was going to order. She did this 3 times!!!! I ordered the prime rib w/hollandaise breakfast plate & I really CANNOT believe it was prime rib. There was so much gristle & fat, I had to spit it out in my napkin at least 4 times. I ran out of napkin to spit it into, so I had to use the one across the table wrapped around another set of silverware. It was really tough too. I was going to ask my waitress if she was sure this was what I ordered, (prime rib), but she never checked on me again until I was almost finished, and that was only to ask me "more coffee?". I had another waitress come by to check on my coffee situation & I had to ask her if she could find my waitress because I wanted my check. So the front cashier girl brought me my check & rather than wait for someone to come get my payment, I took it up to the front to pay for it. And lo & behold, there's my waitress, Brenda, shooting the breeze with some folks @ a booth up front. She had one knee on their seat & was leaning in towards their table to speak with them. I walked right past her, she didn't notice me at all. As I payed my bill up front, I asked what my waitresses name was. Needless to say, I gave her ZERO tip. What an awful experience, she should be FIRED!!!! read more

Stopped here for lunch with my mom and brother. Had the green chile cheese burger with fries. It was like I was in Santa Fe again. Great job. My mom has the special and my brother had the breakfast plate. The ingredients were fresh and the service was quick and courteous. We were happy campers. I'd give them a 5 starts but my mom's dish was a little too salty which is common for restaurants and it really stands out if you are on a low sodium diet. Next time I would ask for them to reduce the salt. I will stop there again. read more

When a restaurant can get a simple request of no onions in the salad , things already didn't start well! Then the trout was dry and taste less! The medium rare ribeye was raw! And the load potato was with butter and sour cream! It was the worst food I ate in my whole trip! read more

On a busy Saturday morning, as a group of 12, we were seated right away. Everybody's order was accurate and the food was good! Sydne was our server and she was AMAZING! So friendly, checked on us constantly, even took the time to say hi to our baby multiple times. read more
