They definitely saw me walk in and not a single person acknowledged me. After what seemed like forever (must've been close to 10 mins) I finally spoke up and said "I guess you guys don't want my business." Then someone finally nonchalantly said " Someone will be with you soon." That's something you say when I walk in the door if you're busy, but not after I've been there waiting for awhile. I can't imagine this store being in business much longer. Awful customer service and I was ready to drop a lot of money in there.

I was helped by Indigo Salti, who was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to walk me through my options and made sure I felt confident about the phone and plan I chose. His professionalism and genuine care really stood out. T-Mobile is lucky to have someone like him on their team! Even if it might be a further drive for you I highly suggest this store and in particular indigo. You will have his full attention while he is with you and he makes the process so easy :-)

Unfortunately, T-Mobile customer care couldn't assist and my only option was to take it into a store. We are not from Austin, so I just found a random location that was close by the Apple Store. When I showed up, a guy greeted me and said someone would help and then disappeared to the back. All staff were tied up with serious looking customers that appeared to be buying phones - not a quick process. As I waited, never once did they acknowledge me nor let me know I would be helped soon. About 30 minutes in, two families walk in and a young lady - who was still assisting a customer, approached them and checked them in. A few minutes later, I noticed she was helping the first family that came in. I let her know that I was there before and she kind of blew me off. Out of frustration, I called Apple support and asked them if I could do something else because the T-Mobile people were not helping. They heard me and one employee even said in an angry tone "we're trying to help you sir." He then asked another employee, "can you help this guy". The employee Rob was very polite and professional and helped me in minutes. I was out of the store and made it to see my son's game - which is why were in Austin. When I called the store a couple of days later to express my concerns and share my appreciation for Rob, the supervisor/ manager was not professional and said in a sarcastic tone "I'll coach the staff and tell Rob you said he did a great job." I expressed to him that it was very clear why his subordinates behave the way they do, it starts from the top. And I wasn't going to write a review if I was going to be the lone bad review because it seems this store has some positive reviews. But noticed many had experienced what I did and I wanted to warn others. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews... If you are going in to spend top dollar on the latest iPhone, you may get some attention but good luck if you need a little free basic tech report. You're not worth their time. This is is why I'll go to the Apple Store all day everyday.

My chief complaint is that it is very unclear where you should go upon arriving to the store. The staff seems to be well trained, but also a little bit too lackadaisical. I understand that Apple goes for a chill vibe, but this was an unorganized mess. After somebody checked me in, they told me my laptop was ready for pick up. When I went to the pick up area, I was processed the same as I was at the check-in -- the only other thing I had to do was to show identification. Additionally, I was asked if I had any trade-in devices, but I told them I was being shipped a box to ship back to the Apple headquarters and they were OK with that. I was told to wait while another colleague would bring out my MacBook and once he did, there was no bag to go with it so a different worker fetched me a bag. The weirdest part was that I had to bag my own laptop........lol? It was super congested for being about 3 o'clock on a Wednesday and I truly did not know why there were so many people just hanging out. Surrounding stores were kind of sketchy and I truly did not feel safe walking out with my new Apple product. The only kudos I have here are that one of the supervisors approached me and told me they liked my T-shirt and gave me a fist bump, which was nice. Other than that, I do not know why this Apple Store operates the way it does, and I believe that customers who are not truly customers (aka just people who are sitting down using their phones) should not be allowed to occupy space in this establishment. I guess Apple has now entered the affordable laptop space with the MacBook Neo. Of course this will come with a whole new set of complications, users, and troubleshooting. I'm here for the ride... I guess I don't have any choice!

I interacted with two Apple team members before I connected with the Apple technician. Expectations were adequately set that they normally do not work on third party solutions. Apparently, this takes about 30 minutes, so I decided to wait until I got home. My phone is currently being updated. Will find out tomorrow if that jumping around issue has been solved. I am cautiously optimistic. Will listen to my playlist tomorrow...too tired tonight.

He was extremely polite, answered my questions, and helped me without an issue. I came in again this past week to trade in my old device and finish setting up my new device. Sadly, Micole wasn't in that day, and someone else named Yareli helped me. Unfortunately, Yareli wasn't polite or helpful. I'm not sure if employees at Verizon work on some sort of commission, but it was pretty clear that Yareli only wanted to help if I paid for it. I've been a Verizon customer for over 15 years, and I have never been treated that way. I had just bought a whole new iPhone and she quickly shut down as soon as I said I wasn't interested in paying $29.99 for her to set up my device. I was already halfway through setting it up but had encountered a roadblock because something was wrong with the settings of my Verizon account (a Verizon rep needed to change it for me, and I wasn't able to do this myself). Yareli was short with me and ended up completely walking away after a few minutes once I said I just had a few questions and didn't need her to set up the whole device. Mind you, I still had a few questions that she didn't answer. My sister had come in with me and also had the same issue. When we finished setting up our devices and were ready to completely wipe and trade in the old ones, Yareli took my sister's phone and marked on her iPad that it was in "very bad condition". This was because the screen protector had a crack...we told Yareli that it was just the protector and took it off in front of her to show that the screen was intact, and she rolled her eyes. She then marked on her iPad that it was in "good condition", which changed the trade-in value from $100 to $1000. Given the huge difference that change made in the value of the trade-in, Yareli should have been extra cautious and should have inquired about the cracks instead of making an assumption. Nevertheless, it was really obvious it was just the screen protector, so truly it just seemed like Yareli wanted to pull something on us. I totally understand that everyone has a bad day once in a while, but Yareli made it seem like we were asking her to bring us a piece of the moon, when in reality we were asking her questions well within the realm of her job description. Her behavior was embarrassing and unacceptable in a client-facing role.
