He tested the battery sure enough it was no good he should us some refurbished new phones which was way better than the my Dad had transferred my Dads SIM card into the new one and we were on are way ! Mr.Butt is a true Professional super caring takes his time isn't trying to sell you anything he just genuinely cares about his Customers he does business the old fashioned way other places won't even look at your cell phone unless they know they are getting your business ? He gave both phones a second life with a new battery AND was able to save me money by simply doing a deep clean on my port and discovering that some dirt preventing the charger from seating properly was the issue - which saved me from having to get an entirely new port. From the moment I reached out, he was responsive, communicative, and transparent about the process. Extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. The quality of the work was excellent, and he had both phones finished in about an hour. Fast, professional, and genuinely great customer service. It's rare to find someone who combines technical skill with such a smooth customer experience. Highly recommended. Will always call him first any time I have an issue!

TL;DR: did not use their service, but they are extremely honest…read more Something was wrong with my camera because all my pictures had streaks of light on them. Also, there is a bright spot on my phone on the right side, which affects my wallpaper. I came into this place to have it checked out and see how much it would cost to repair. The tech took one look at the photo and said it's not the screen that's damaged. It's the photo is highlighting a glare in the background. He switched it to night mode, and the glare was gone, so it was clearly the photo I had as a background and not the screen itself. Also, I asked him about the streaks of light on my photos. He took one look at it and said that my lens cover is really dusty. He cleaned it off and we took a photo and all the streaks were gone. I wanna point this out because these are two things that any dishonest repair shop can easily say they will look at it and fix it and charge me $100-$200. Because of their honesty, this was a five minute visit where he did want adjustment and one lens cleaning and didn't even charge me. It's good to know that they are still honest repairman out there. If I do have a problem, I will be sure to come back here

When we came to pick up the iPad, the screen looked absolutely pristine, but it started doing some weird things on its own. Harry was immediately super apologetic and insisted on keeping it to make things right. Since it was close to closing time, I fully expected to come back the next day -- but within about 30 minutes, Harry called to let us know he had fixed the issue and everything was working perfectly again! This level of customer service is hard to find. Harry has actually repaired several of our teenagers' devices over the years, and every experience has been great. We'll absolutely continue coming back in the future. Very, very happy with our service. Thank you so much, Harry!

I genuinely hope this individual no longer works here and that it was just a one-off bad worker--unless, of course, he is actually the owner of the establishment. Either way, the experience was so terrible I feel compelled to share it. I called this shop multiple times beforehand to get a quote for a cracked screen repair. The technician assured me it could be fixed and recommended going with the aftermarket glass. After assessing it in person, he confirmed the plan, took the phone, and told me it would take about an 1-2 hours. When I returned, the phone was completely taken apart. Suddenly, the story changed. He claimed the back case also needed to be replaced to fit the new screen--something he specifically assured me wasn't necessary before he started. He also said that there was something wrong with the front facing camera, which it didn't before I gave it to him. He quoted a new price for the extra work that almost equaled the cost of a brand-new phone. Because the extra cost didn't make sense, I told him to just put the phone back together, offer a fair price for his time, and I'd just buy a new phone instead. (The phone was fully functional before this; it literally just had a cracked glass). He completely refused to reassemble the phone unless I paid for both the new rear case and the glass. He basically held my device hostage, forcing me into a costly repair under his terms, or forcing me to walk out with a completely disassembled, non-functional phone. I felt backed into a corner and had no choice but to pay. Unprofessional, dishonest, and predatory business practices. Avoid at all costs.

Most places charge more than that, but I'm glad I came here and trusted the reviews. This place is a smoke shop, boba store, and iPhone repair shop all in one. They also sell fast food, Pro Club clothes, and refill water jugs! I missed the location at first because I was looking for a separate building with an individual sign, but I called and they confirmed it was inside the "Tropicana" smoke shop, right next to a laundromat. Fast and reliable service. Plenty of parking. I will definitely consider them again in the future.

Not only did Truefix quote me the best pricing but didn't try to sell me on anything more than needed. In the end even though parts were ordered and my iPhone still wasn't working properly due to internal equipment failure, was referred to only option of replacing directly with Apple. Wasn't charged a dime by Truefix and given best advice in my situation. Would HIGHLY recommend Truefix and if I ever need any phone fixed, glad to know we have a trusty La Cañada business.
