Macbook suddenly had a black screen and I was forced to use this place, as Apple's maintenance appts are back scheduled for weeks because of Covid. Took it in and they fixed it (approx 1 week) after replacing a part. Got home and attempted to login and the TouchID didn't work. Had to take it back in and, after several days was told I might as well pick it up because the part was not going to be delivered soon (not their fault). When I got the computer back it had been reset to factory settings, which is understandable. I called and specifically asked if, when they replace the TouchID, would my computer be reset back to factory (otherwise I would wait to reinstall all my apps and photos etc). They told me no, it would only be a replacement and nothing would be reset. Take a guess at what they did when I picked the computer back up. Everything had been reset again. Their response was "oh, sorry". This place is a joke, just hope your computer doesn't have issues during this whole pandemic; otherwise you would be better off buying a new one. read more

This place is great, the young gentleman helped me out in a fast and courteous manner. My phone had an obstruction in the charging port. He just smiled whipped out some crazy specialty tweezers and remover the fuzz (dust bunny). I asked how much I owed willing and expecting to pay up to $20, he just smiled and said don't worry about it,....Thank to that young man! read more

Mobile Kangaroo is new to Fresno but well esatblished in the Bay Area. They rescued me after I had spent hours and hours with Apple's telephone tech support and Genius Bar, trying to solve a graphics board problem. I had some good and back luck with Apple's telephone support. But Apple Store in Fashion Fair gave me the run-around and did not want to honor a warranty their on-line staff had already acknowledged. Frustrated, I decided to try an authorized third-party Apple repair service. Mobile Kangaroo took on the problem, and persuaded Apple to honor the warranty. I went in to get my phone fixed, good service, friendly, got done quickly and souk recommend.

First of all they make appointments without having adequate time to repair so it's a complete waste of time being you have to reschedule unless you want to be without your phone until the next day... Then one person said they could repair the phone after visually checking it get there for my appt and the next person says No. Just such a waste of time all the way around! Either it's bad training, poor communication or something I just don't get. Will never come back(after 3 failed attempts to get a service)! read more

The screen of my iphone X started to detach. Through Apple, I made an appointment with this Mobile Kangaroo for the same day (the Apple Store in Fashion Fair had NO appointments available at all). Mobile Kangaroo immediately diagnosed the problem- the battery was enlarging for some reason. They were able to replace the battery within two hours, and I was reunited with my iphone X. We have become so dependent on our phones that when they break or aren't working correctly we freak out. One of the few downsides to having an iPhone is that you have to go to an Apple store and wait hours to see a tech or find an authorized Apple repair store. There are not a lot to choose from here in Fresno, so my husband and I tried Mobile Kangaroo on Bullard. The store is clean and the man that greeted us was helpful. Ran the diagnostics on our phones, told us what was wrong and how much it would be to fix it. Great. We were told it would be $150 to send it back to Apple, they would replace the screen and touch and send it back. Again, great. 3 weeks later still no phone, no calls and several messages later I finally get ahold of someone and we are told "oh yeah your phones been here for awhile." We run 2 businesses and work full time jobs so being without a phone is a nightmare. We were pretty upset but decided to write it off and never go back to the place. A week later the touch is not working again. We go into the actual Apple store and they tell us they won't work on it vectors still under the stores warranty and we should go back there. Or do an insurance claim. Ugh, okay here we go again, back into Mobile Kangaroo. Of course they say they don't warranty their work themselves so, sorry but you're better off doing an insurance claim. We should have just saved our original $150 and did a claim in the first place. It's a hassle but save your money and the stress and go to the Apple store or do an insurance claim. You'll be doing one a few weeks later anyway after going to this store. read more

Found these guys after attempting to make an online appointment at the Apple Store which was booked for another week. The website directed me to Kangaroo with a same day appointment for an issue with my laptop. They were extremely helpful, patient and were able to fix my laptop at no charge. So thankful! read more

Took my MacBook in to be repaired mobile kangaroo said it had damage and wouldn't charge. Then was told they would take it off my hands for $100.00. I ended up taking MacBook home and opening up computer only to find out that the employee unplugged power source so it wouldn't charge. I plugged it back in and laptop works fine. They told me the price of my battery for my laptop would cost $250 because my laptops battery was more expensive because of the year. Found venders selling the needed battery for $45 online. read more

Not happy at all. Smug kid at the counter made me so mad I left without having the work done. When I asked a question he was quick to deflect it as if the answer was beyond my comprehension. Awful service and very dishonest. Nothing like the Apple store. I will not return because MKangaroo over charges and lied. I have Apple care and I was told that I didn't. Thank goodness I checked with Apple because I was shocked that I didn't have it. They estimated 5 days to get the part and 5 days to repair it ($700.00+), Apple ordered the part and it arrived in 2 days, repair was made the same day. Wish I could give this place less then one star this place was a freakin nightmare and I usually don't ever do reviews but people need to know about this place !!! Will never go back to this place again !!! My daughters iphone had been having problems with the speaker and we had purchased Apple care when we bought it so when we noticed these problems we made a fix appointment on the Apple site and they sent us here cause it the closes to us and was a Apple authorized store. Took the phone in and right away they noticed what was wrong and said they would have to ship it to the Apple store and they would repair it or either send a new phone to them and they told us they would give us a call when they received the phone and everything was fixed. They told us it would take about 4 days.. couple hours after dropping the phone off we forgot to leave my number on file to call when everything was fixed so we called and gave them my number and a extra number to call when the repair was done and we could come pick it up ... but 5 days passed came nothing no call and no phone so we gave them a call and they had said they shipped the phone out to us without our permission when we had clearly told them to call multiple number when it got to the store and they never did that... so I was beyond pissed at this point so they said you should receive it in 3 days and 3 days passed and nothing so we gave them a call and they said they had sent it so we asked to what address and they told us and it was not our address they had the wrong city's no idea how that happed but when they told me this ... that's when I had enough and went off cause their first mistake was they said they called us but called the number that was being repaired not the other number we had provided for them to call and second they decided to ship it out on there own without our permission and then used the excuse saying we paid for shipping but we never once paid for anything we dropped off the phone and that's it never once did we use our card to pay for anything ... third they shipped it to the wrong address and then said we had to contact FedEx to track the package and file a claim to see if we could get the package to the right address.. this was something that could've been prevented if they had just done there freakin job in the first place! I am beyond pissed with this place and will never ever come back! read more

So glad I found this place! Went on apple website to make an appt, apple had nothing open for 5 days. Mobile Kangaroo was listed as an authorized retailer, and with my luck, less than 10 minutes away. I made the 10am appt, showed up there.They diagnosed my phone and were able to process my warranty claim. They also provided loaner phone which was awesome and very convenient. My phone came in the very next day, and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely be going there for any further phone/computer needs! read more

Paid $65 dollars to diagnose a Mac Pro after being told that the price to repair a board that was probably the problem was one price and was later told that the price was much higher(bait&switch). I was told by an Apple outlet that I should not repair the equipment given the year and the fact that apple would soon not support the unit, but given the price quoted I felt I would make the repairs. So now given the bait&switch price quoted I'm into this computer more than should have been. Beware of the quote and actual price of repairs at this store and remember you are still out the diagnosing cost. read more

I had an appointment at the mobile kangaroo to fix a problem my Iphone 7 was having connecting to service. The associate told me that he would connect the phone to diagnostic test and it would either fix the phone or disable the phone. He told me that if the phone broke it would be replaced under warranty without charge. He ran the test and the phone disabled however he then told me that he just noticed a small crack in the phone (instead of checking when I first gave him the phone) and because of this he would be unable to replace the phone. I don't understand why I wasn't informed of this before he rendered the phone completely unusable. Had I known of this I would have looked at other options. The worst part is that the gentalman that helped me wasn't apologetic for his mistake and told me to go to apple and have them solve the issue because he couldn't help. So I left the store with a phone that was more broken than before. I understand that everyone makes mistakes but he didn't so much as apologize. I do not recommend this store. read more
