Big ups to Vic of Mobile Masters. I recently purchased the Blackvue DR750S 2-CH dash cam for installation (hardwired) in my MB E-Class. Like most folks I called around and was told by one car audio install shop that I could expect to pay $300+ as it was a 3-5 hour install! I wanted a new system with Bluetooth and a backup cam, but didn't want to spend a whole heck of a lot of cash since my truck already has his own drivers license! I was acquainted with Vic Orlando of Mobile Masters as he has done multiple home theater installations for my employer, and had solved a minor problem on one of my own smart TVs. Vic understood my cost concerns given the age of my truck, and recommended a backup cam and Pioneer receiver with Bluetooth that was well within my (lower end) budget; I saved enough to be able to add new Polk speakers to the order. Vic took his time with the installation and made adjustments necessary to my vintage 2002 dash to get the receiver to fit perfectly. The backup cam is amazing for someone who never had one, and comes on automatically when the truck is put into reverse. To be able to answer and talk on my iPhone while driving is just frosting on the cake. My understanding is the sound quality for the person on the other end of the call is perfect. I'm a big basshead but I've had a lot of bad luck with installers. On the old cars, I could do it myself but I have a newer hybrid car now and it's mindbogglingly different from the old days. I've had work done at a few shops around town but was never happy with the results. I tried to get a Ford dealer to install my gear, but they referred me to a 3rd party shop I already knew I wasn't a fan of. I spoke to a friend of mine who recommended Mobile Masters - Vic in particular. He showed me Vic's work on his car and it looked and sounded great. I setup an appointment and when he got there we found that I was missing a part - he helped me order it and rescheduled the appointment without charging me anything. Once I had everything I needed he came back and did a great job! Super clean installation, sounds AMAZING, incredibly loud hahaha. I've tested it out heavily and am very happy! The stereo in our boat stopped working so I needed to replace it. I contacted Mobile Masters Vic and asked a few questions before I scheduled an appointment. He was very responsive and up front on pricing and what I should buy. He came to our house and installed the new Kenwood BT stereo. He was on time for the appointment and soldered then connections vs using crimped connectors which is much better. It worked great in normal conditions but music cut out when we were in choppy water. I checked the connections and the cables were pulled too tight so when bouncing caused them to pull and then cut out. I was able to easily free some slack and zip tie wires and fix the issue. In summary I'd give 5 stars for communication and pricing but since I had to make the wiring adjustment had to make it 4 stars overall. read more

Save yourself the headache, the experience was a let down from the beginning. It started with an appointment at my office on 2/8 at 10 AM to install a viper alarm/remote start and I was told the time to complete was 3.5 hours. When he arrived, I handed over the parts (they do not sell the alarm so I acquired the parts myself) and keys and advised him that I needed to leave by 2 PM that day and with the time quoted I didn't think that would be an issue. There was I hand't heard from anyone all day so I came out about 2:30 PM and he was still working on the truck and on the phone with someone trying to figure out why it wasn't working. I finally get to leave approx 3:45 pm with what seemed like a functioning alarm / remote start system, that is until I get home about 30 minutes later. When I park my truck and turn off the ignition, the doors have a loud click and unlock 4-5 times in a row. Not sure what's going on, but I restart the truck and shut it down once more to find that it does this again. Okay so 1 issue, not a deal breaker I'll just reach back out to them and see when they can fix it. That was until about 15 minutes after I get home when my wife and I decide to go to dinner and problem #2 arises. I press the start button on the remote (the truck at this point is approx 60 feet away with a system that claims up to a 1 mile range) and I get a error on the remote (LCD display). Umm, okay so whats this about? I go outside and try it again and the truck does nothing and I get the same error. . So clearly there is an issue #2 now and I'm less than excited about this so I reach out to the installer. I received a response the following day of things I had to go test on the car and report back for him to troubleshoot what might be wrong......Didn't I just pay to have this installed? Why am I working on fixing an install I paid someone to complete? After a series of testing on my part, he concludes that the ground wire that was not installed needs to be grounded and proceed to tell me to pull the kick panel apart and where to find the wire so I can install it. You've got to be kidding me....when do I get paid for this? Anyways, I hook up the ground wire when I get home that night and it seems to fix the error and the remote start worked on initial testing. That is until tomorrow morning about about 10 minutes before I leave for work........ I try to remote start the truck and the sequence begins and the remote sounds, but after about 30 seconds the remote sounds again that the sequence to start has been canceled. I go outside so I can try again and watch the truck to see what happens even though I don't have time ti deal with this. I press the start feature on the remote (standing about 10 feet from the truck) and the truck bumps the starter but fails to start and shuts down. I tired this more times just to be sure and same result. So I reach out again to the installer and not surprised he wants me to go troubleshoot the issue again. That's it, I'm done......I don't have the time to fix all these issues that I paid someone to complete correctly in the first place. So after several weeks and disputing the payment, they tell me that if I need to schedule a service visit I can do that on their website. Wait, there's been issues since the day you worked on my truck and now you want me to schedule a "service visit"? And here we are, a month later and I'm having to schedule an appoint with a local shop and pay to have this system evaluated and repaired. - Installed on 2/8 -All wires and connectors that he cut and used were left laying all over the parking lot of my office. I had to clean it all up the following day - remote start still fails 80% of the time - Doors still very annoying and multiple unlocks for no reason - In the rare even that the remote start works, the DRL's will not work after Do yourself a favor and find a authorized installer for whatever product you get, it might cost you a few bucks more but at least you'll have support or the job done correctly. And in case you felling like disputing my claims here, I can post the text messages showing the conversation word for word UPDATE 3/22/17 Well I was going to let this go as I had an authorized installer fix the issues this past Saturday and it cost me an additional $100. But since you want to claim my information to be false, I'll just attached your text messages as proof. You stated in them that you we're working on getting back out to me, so why would I need to schedule an appointment? And while I appreciate that you tried to walk me through diagnostics of the issues, I paid to have it installed correctly the first time and should have to spend my day troubleshooting your install. I stated in my original post that I DID NOT purchase the equipment from you as you don't sell it, I thought I was clear. Since the second installer did not replace any parts I can only concluded the issue falls within the install. Lesson learned read more

About a month ago I drove my Porsche 996 from NM to Las Vegas...(This is no regular Porsche .....500 hp LS 3 Renegade Hybrid Conversion) Anyway I took it back to Vic in Las Vegas because I do not let anyone else TOUCH MY STEREO! Vic debugged some bad RCA cables moved the Sirius antenna for better reception...put in a video patch and a few other details to make my system PERFECT! To say that my home theater system could use some work is the understatement of the century!! Inheriting a shoddy job of tangled wires, random extension cords, and a receiver on the fritz all shoved in the top shelf of a non ventilated pantry when I moved into my house, it was evident that a redo was in order. Had my new fiat 2012 outfitted with 6 new speakers and an amp. I was amazed at the amount ofd work that was out into it. They basically had to take every panel and the back seats off the car but when it was put back together it was better than new. I decided to gut the factory stereo in my Mustang and go for the gusto with a top of the line stereo. However, when the geeks at Best Buy quoted over $500 for installation (with less than perfect equipment purchased from them), I realized the only to get what I really wanted at a good price was to buy my components online. When I ran across the web site for Vic and his MobileMasters car stereo installation business, I decided to ask for a quote. Vic called the next day and spent a good 45 minutes on the phone with me, going over my options for the stereo I wanted, speaker choices, amplifier choices and installation options. As Vic is a certified Master Technician (with years of experience installing this stuff), he is a better resource than any shop salesman in this town. When it came to installation day, Vic comes to your house and gets to work! I had him do the whole she-bang... touchscreen head unit, microphone for hands-free calling, Ipod cable in the glove box, component speakers in the doors, speakers in the rear deck, subwoofer in the trunk, and a bad -ass amplifier to run this sucker. All I can say is... Wow! The installation is impossible to tell apart from the factory system. The wiring is perfectly hidden, the subwoofer was mounted to take up the least possible room in the trunk, the amp was hidden by installing it on the rear deck panel and the microphone has about 1/2" of wire showing which is incredible in an aftermarket install. Vic also spent some time tweaking the built-in EQ and then spent time with me to make sure the phone and bluetooth options were working as well. But here is where Vic and MobileMasters earns its Fifth Star. He tried something different with incorporating my factory subwoofer components into the new system. After a day, I knew this wasn't the option for me. Without question, he came back to the house and made everything exactly the way I wanted it to be, and made sure I was completely satisfied before he left. All this for about the same price as the big box store wants... and let me tell you, they don't give a s**t about how you want it. Trust me, Vic and MobileMasters is the only way to go! read more

I had been planning on putting in an after market deck in my Toyota FJ for ever and when my wife bought me a new Kenwood DDX770 for my birthday I was stoked! I spent several days researching all of the things I needed including the best back up camera and the right steering wheel module. The Friday arrived where I had all of the parts I needed and the time to do it. Started to get all of the wiring lined up and the schematic that goes with the steering wheel control module did not match the Toyota wiring harness.
